The Hideaway is a modern luxury suite located right in the center of it all. You can stroll a 1/2 mile to the beach, cozy up to the fireplace, walk downtown, catch a show at the theater, or discover Boston, Salem (2 miles away), or other quaint seaside towns. Tucked around the corner from downtown Beverly, in a quiet and historic neighborhood. This suite is located in the lower level of our home, and you’ll have your own private entrance, queen bed, fireplace, desk, fridge, and full bathroom.

Along with your lake experience the Franklin area has become known for whitewater rafting & kayaking. O.N.E. kayak rental is nearby in downtown Franklin. They will deliver and pick up rental kayaks & paddle boards. Mountain bike at the nearby Franklin Dam. An outdoor space with gas grill, picnic bench & fire pit chimnea. Close to large ski areas such as Gunstock, Waterville Valley, Dartmouth Ski Way, Ragged Mountain & 45 min to Loon. Ice fishing and access to multiple snow mobile trails.

Cozy 1975 A-frame chalet cabin sleeps 5 with a comfortable living space, two wood stoves, and a full kitchen. Located in the rural community of Stoddard. Enjoy the peace and quiet that this area has to offer. Many local hiking, swimming and fishing nearby. In warmer months, guests will have access to our canoe. It is less than a 2-hour drive from Boston to the Highland Haus! Winter Guests- please note that Shedd Hill rd is very hilly and all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive is recommended.
