Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

Muriel is a very friendly person. The accommodation is very nice, spacious and quiet. The ability to park the vehicle in the enclosure was very much appreciated. Really, would definitely stay again.

Great stay at this castle to celebrate my sweetheart's 30th birthday!! The accommodation is impeccable, the setting is beautiful, and Samira is very accommodating and available as needed. Perfect, highly recommend, and without a second thought!

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

The stay went very well at Gérard's on the occasion of the comics festival. The house is close to a bakery, which is very convenient to grab yourself for lunch! The train station is also close if you don't want to take the car. The house is very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We recommend!

The house is very pleasant, quiet and 20 minutes walk from the center of Angouleme, 10 minutes walk from the Victor Hugo market. No problem parking. The house is very well arranged with all the necessities. The upstairs bedroom is of good size and there is plenty to store your belongings. The bathroom has a well-designed shower and the washing machine is handy. As we were there in the summer the laundry was drying out very quickly. The room is well laid out, there is a kettle, a microwave, an oven, a 4 zone induction plate. We were able to cook without difficulty. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I will happily return

Small cottage with a lot of charm, in the middle of the vines with a view and a breathtaking tranquility, I even issued a "Wouhaa" when I arrived. A back terrace overlooking the vineyards, fields and forests. All amenities within 10 minutes. I don't recommend it too much because I hope it will be available the next time I come!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wendy's cottage, the area is rural and very peaceful with a lovely pool area which suited us down to the ground. During our stay we loved the interaction with Wendy and her family and made great friends of Spud & Bilbo the family pets x
