We stayed for 4 adults for the festival in a quiet area with parking and bus nearby. The house matches the listing, and linens are provided. The center can be reached in 10 minutes. Virginia is a host responsive to our needs to best welcome us. Self check-in is a plus, and the cat's hugs company even more a plus!

Clean and true to photos. Welcoming and friendly host. Only one slight negative, the fact of having to bring our towels and toilet paper. Otherwise everything was perfect, the accommodation is quiet and in the middle of nature, and the host is flexible on arrival and departure times.

I had a fabulous stay at this location! My only concerns were the stairs leading to the bedroom ( I sometimes have difficulty with stairs) and the fact that my rental vehicle was far too big for French driving so that it was tricky at times to get into the courtyard to park. But with patience it all worked out fine. I really felt at home here. I was able to accomplish what I set out to do from this location, delve into French culture and experience life as a local not just a tourist. I was able to see a great deal of the city by walking and I've completely worn my ankles out. I enjoyed getting out early and watching the city come alive too. The host was friendly and responsive during the day. She was unable to meet me at check-in for medical reasons but I got to meet her in person at her mother's shop in the city. If you're spending a few days in Angouleme, definitely consider staying here. For local restaurant recommendations be sure to see the rental guide provided.

Antoine and Corrine are very welcoming and were very responsive during our stay. They accepted our dog without any issues which proves their sympathies. Very well kept accommodation and garden. Excellent nearby restaurants. We recommend 100%! Thanks to them.

The house is very clean, very nice and the decoration very good taste. It's a peaceful oasis😊. The house has a small fenced and secure lot which is very satisfactory when you come with a dog👍. Easy parking for all vehicles. Alicia and her spouse are very welcoming. I would highly recommend it!

We had a pleasant stay in this large house! We were able to enjoy the pool and beautiful garden. We were 11 so 5 children, the house is ideal for families, full of nice little corners to read, play, relax... Carol has thought of everything! We lacked nothing. We really enjoyed this one-night stay at Stéphanie's place. The place is peaceful, spacious and full of charm. LOIS and I will be back with great pleasure. Stéphanie and her husband are indeed very responsive and friendly hosts.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

The stay went very well at Gérard's on the occasion of the comics festival. The house is close to a bakery, which is very convenient to grab yourself for lunch! The train station is also close if you don't want to take the car. The house is very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We recommend!

The house is very pleasant, quiet and 20 minutes walk from the center of Angouleme, 10 minutes walk from the Victor Hugo market. No problem parking. The house is very well arranged with all the necessities. The upstairs bedroom is of good size and there is plenty to store your belongings. The bathroom has a well-designed shower and the washing machine is handy. As we were there in the summer the laundry was drying out very quickly. The room is well laid out, there is a kettle, a microwave, an oven, a 4 zone induction plate. We were able to cook without difficulty. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I will happily return
