We had a lovely family stay in St Palais. The accommodation was very good, well located not far from the sea and the Trail des Douaniers, perfect for reaching the beaches and walking with the dogs. We also received a great welcome from Agnès 🙂

The house is beautifully located with nice sea view from the terrace at the front and very quiet terrace at the back. The surroundings are also very quiet, which we enjoyed very much. The house completely matches the description and the pictures on the website. The house is very extensively equipped and there are also many nice extras available in the garden such as a beach umbrella, body boards, bicycles, ... The wifi in the house worked smoothly, which especially the children could appreciate.

Small house, very well located, close to the beach, the center (with all the necessary shops) and the customs trail. You can do anything on foot. The house is functional (dishes, accessories...), clean, with a nice little garden (with barbecue , sunbeds, a table, an umbrella). There were 5 of us. The master bedroom downstairs is really great (spacious, good bed and storage), the upper room for our 3 big children (14 to 21 years old) is fine too. It is difficult to bring the car in front of the house, as indicated in the advertisement. However, we have a large space Renault and we managed to get in. We had a lovely stay at this place and will gladly come back.

Nicolas and Gaëlle are great hosts. The accommodation is very pleasant in a quiet and green environment (by the river, outdoor lounge, barbecue) with adorable neighboring goats. I highly recommend it.

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

Louise and Mickael made us feel very welcome, plus a bottle of white wine and cool beers! Very nice! We had a pleasant week of vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the kids loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If you need anything, do not hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

A nice discovery. We really enjoyed our stay with Dominique and Xavier. The house was very nice and functional. The weather was not suitable and it's a shame because we could have enjoyed the private garden furniture. Xavier is responsive but discreet. We felt right at home. We will be back.

we had a very nice stay in Corinne's house. a haven of peace, silence. beautiful exposure of the house. each room has a function and allows for privacy. very large garden. trees to find shade. I can only recommend the accommodation, the quality of communication with Corinne. Simon and Sarah are impeccable hosts. The cottage is gigantic and offers an impressive number of activities. You can't be bored, you can't be disappointed. The photos are pretty, but don't do reality justice. The setting is beautiful and exotic. Thank you so much, and I hope to be back soon:)

We were charmed by Thierry's house. Everything is there: the comfort, the charm, the equipment, the pretty garden, a pleasant pool and plenty of games available... A real favorite for this beautiful home and the area! We'll be back with pleasure!
