Cottage vacation rentals in Saint-James

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

The cottage is very neat, the equipment is quality. The activities offered are easily usable. Chantal is very attentive to her hosts and is always ready to answer their questions! Quiet and serenite for this weekend with friends . Useful shops are in the immediate vicinity! A stay that met our expectations!

We had a great time at the La Mer cottage! Thank you to Raphaël and Celine for their kindness and responsiveness. The place was perfect (very clean and the same as described). The bathtub is a very nice plus. The location is perfect with a very quiet and peaceful environment, 30 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo. We highly recommend this listing!

Staying with Jeanette and Brian was truly a pleasure. We were greeted by them in person upon our arrival and immediately felt like welcomed guests. We had an amazing time in the amazing farm house. Our first morning started with our children hand feeding the sheep and chickens, and getting fresh eggs from the coop! An experience my children loved!

We were delighted with our weekend in Le Verotin. Sandrine and her husband are very welcoming and adorable hosts. The place is lovely we will gladly go back and highly recommend it.

Second stay at Nicky's for us. As always, we are delighted with this quiet spot! A great welcome, a house always as nice! We recommend it!

Viviane’s place is basic but has everything you need with a personal touch. She greeted us personally and gave great restaurant recommendations. Everything functioned well and a bonus of the sauna and Nordic bath experience. We did hear the visitors next door so if you have sensitive ears bring earplugs ! We walked all the way to Mont Saint Michel, which was about an hour or so, stopping here and there for photos.

Would highly recommend a stay here! Cecile and Greg couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable and Greg’s cookies were absolutely delicious! We loved the peaceful location and the kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline in the garden. Nearby Dinan is a beautiful town with lots to explore too.

We had a great time, the house was very clean and very spacious. Very nice view of Mont Saint-Michel! The instructions were very clear.

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

We were received very kindly by Dominique and warmly welcomed. The place was very loving and nicely decorated. The amenities were great.

Very good stay. Prior to having the owners who are staying a house next door Had 14 people in the next gite (including 6 children) for Halloween but we didn't hear them. Dissociated parking so perfect. Great fireplace (€10 for the 1/8 of steer already provided on arrival) with a wood burning stove that works very well Great attention to the breakfast. A fresh baguette would be a plus (not sure if this is possible given the area) but it was already the milk breads.

The accommodation is functional and properly equipped. We can easily prepare meals for two thanks to the 2 plates and the small multifunction oven, as well as the microwave . The cleanliness of the space and bedding is impeccable. The view of Mont St Michel from the house is beautiful. The environment is extremely peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hearty (very hearty) breakfasts (with extra charge ) prepared homemade with quality products. We loved the butter, the jams, the cakes, the croissants and the fresh bread... not very hungry for lunch after that ... Virginia and Michel are very friendly. Virginia gave us tips on local activities and restaurants. There are many leaflets and a list of restaurants available in the house.

We spent a week in Zoe's and Fabien's lovely cottage during autumn time. Located in the country side we had very relaxing days, enjoying the the calm nights and the view over the orchards - particularly during sunset. Having two rainy days did not matter at all, by contrast, it only increased the quality of our stay as the cottage with its fire place played out its cozy athmosphere even more. Paired with a well equiped kitchen and excursions to Fougères, Grandville, Mt. St. Michel and other sites in Normandy and Brittany, we had the holiday we were looking for. Thank you, Zoe and Fabien!

Sue and Ian are very friendly hosts. The house is tastefully decorated, functional and cozy, it is a pleasure to stay at the corner of the beautiful fireplace and its wood burning stove, it feels like home. Its geographical location is ideal for combining sightseeing tours and outdoor activities. Everything comes together for a pleasant stay with the family. An address we recommend.

A small stay in a quiet green setting in the small house on the meadow. When we arrived, a small fire in the stove was waiting for us and if needed, Steve and his wife were very responsive and caring. Back to basics away from the hustle and bustle of the city! We'll be 😊

A quiet and peaceful spot on this earth. In this place you can absolutely relax and completely relax. The property is in a very rural area, so you have to drive a little further for excursions or larger cities. However, if you are looking for a place to stay, this accommodation is the absolutely right place. There are many possibilities on the premises for activities. There are also very close supermarkets and gas stations. We will definitely be back if we need some peace from everyday life again. Debbie and her husband are very accommodating and friendly. They were available at all times and even had some surprises ready upon our arrival.

We had a great extended weekend at the Bird House. Isabelle remained available when we needed it. Exceptionally clean space with everything you need to feel at home. Great location, 10 minutes from Dinan, just 30 minutes from Saint Malo. We'll be happy to go back!

The whole family had a great stay in this beautiful barn perfectly renovated and furnished. Lots of space, comfortable rooms, a very welcoming and cozy living space.
