Vacation rentals in Hawaii

It was perfect for our family. Like every rental, there are pros and cons. If you are looking for a resort feel, this isn’t the place for you. It felt like a summer family home. Furniture was comfortable, but a little worn. We didn’t worry about the kids ruining something new, so it didn’t bother us. The normal wear on a house being exposed to the ocean air, but again, we didn’t mind, because it was so close to the beach. Traffic noise at night as people left the beach in the evening, but because it was on a dead end, not much noise after the park closed. No AC, but it was not needed at all. I didn’t realize how much I missed sleeping with the windows open and hearing the surf at night was fabulous. The house was spacious, bathrooms were large, kitchen well stocked with things we needed. There were lots of towels for the beach and lots of snorkeling gear, nothing needed. We had a 6 AM flt, so not having to strip beds and do a lot of cleaning made it a winner for me!

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location, description and pictures are accurate. This Airbnb has the most equipped kitchen I have ever stayed at, it's got everything! Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear available for use as well. Clean well maintained home. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

This is second time we’ve said at Poipu Kapili and the first time in this specific unit. It’s well furnished and nicely decorated; the kitchen was stocked with essentials. When we first arrived the tvs were on playing Hawaiian music and there was a nice complimentary box of macadamia chocolates which was actually a huge help with tired, hungry teenage boys! Anyways, I truly can’t think of any complaints; the master bedroom is tastefully decorated in what I call “modern Hawaiian vibe,” and the view of the ocean was superb. Hard to think of any improvements! It could used a salad spinner, but that’s all I can come up with! LOL

This was a beautiful, centrally located place to stay in Lihue! We really enjoyed our stay! Very homey feel, with everything you might need!

Andrea was a great host who was very responsive and flexible re our check in and check out. The condo was small and cosy and had everything that we needed for a 10 night stay. The kitchen was well equipped and as described. The view is amazing. It was so much better than expected as I really thought there would be a road or something between the balcony and the beach as is often the case with photos but you are literally on the beach looking at the sea. We spent most nights just sitting there relaxing and listening to the waves. This is a fab spot to unwind and use as a base to explore but although most of the beaches on the island are beautiful you will find you won’t want to drive to the next one as you have everything you need in a beach on your doorstep. The condo is on the eighth floor and central and you can watch the turtles from above which are not visible to swimmers who are right next the them on ground level. Beautiful.

Beautiful place with gorgeous surroundings and very clean! Dani and Mariah were very helpful and so friendly. We loved our stay and had everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had such a great time during our stay! The location is incredibly walkable, with several coffee shops and fantastic restaurants just steps away. The space was clean, comfortable, and best of all, featured stunning windows that let in the beautiful Hawaiian breeze—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Terre was accommodating, kind and friendly. Her place is precious, in a nice neighborhood! There is a beach within walking distance where locals hang out! Her place is close to downtown Hilo, a short drive, which was nice! She provided great suggestions upon request! When returning to Hilo, we would stay again! Thanks so much for making our stay enjoyable:)
