Lake house vacation rentals in Rudyard Lake

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is spacious with plenty of ensuite bathrooms. It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us as a group of friends but would be good for families too. The location is lovely- it is set in a charming area with a shop just a minute away. We loved the fact it is surrounded by picturesque English villages with quaint cafes, restaurants and really gorgeous old pubs with open fires. Lovely rambles on the doorstep too. The house itself was idyllic and spotlessly clean. French doors in the main bedroom and living room open to stunning lake views creating a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching ducks on the lake was magical. Handy for quick access to Manchester and airport and great value for money. The host was helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Lovely accommodation, perfect for a group gathering. All the rooms were very comfortable. The setting was really peaceful with beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipped and the conservatory perfect for everyone to eat together. Emily and Isobelle were really accommodating around having extra people camping and late check out etc.

Cosy cottage in a beautiful location on the river. The hosts have tried to think of everything to make a holiday stay there as easy as possible from oil in the kitchen to a small selection of games. It felt comfortable and homely without feeling lived in so felt like a real escape. Very clean throughout. There is a selection of great pubs, small shops and cafes in the village a 10 minute walk up a fairly steep hill. Walks can be done from the doorsteps. This meant we didnt have to drive everywhere which we appreciated. We would love to come back in the future.

We had a beautiful stay here having a catchup with friends . Everywhere is immaculate, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay from hair straighteners to an air fryer! Stacey was extremely responsive when we had any queries. The location was perfect for nice walks and not far from Congleton Town center for lots of restaurants and bars. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be back again in the future!

Such a lovely home with stunning interiors! Jennifer was incredibly welcoming, making our short stay feel special. The bathroom was spot on—immaculately clean and felt perfect for a relaxing spa-like experience. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night due to time constraints, but we'd love to return for a longer visit!

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

We had the most fantastic stay. Property is in idyllic surroundings, very clean with everything you need included! The only downside was that the bbq was already booked but we went up to look at it and we'll make sure we get it next time! So cute! Check in was 4pm but we arrived early expecting to just leave the car and go for a walk before getting the keys, however we were welcomed in and given entry early. Going back to the bbq, Clive even said he would set us up with everything we needed for a bbq on the patio if we had wanted it. I cannot give it enough praise and we're hoping to visit again in October if we can work out accommodation for 9 people. Seriously one of the best trips ever. Thank you!

Brilliant host, very very friendly , felt instantly welcomed and relaxed .

We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights. The place was exactly as described in the profile. The highlights were- the outdoor fire-pit/ BBQ place and the lake. Everything was arranged for us at the fire-pit including extra coal and wood logs for the fireplace. It was an amazing outdoor experience even in the winters! It’s a great place just to relax and have a break or to explore the beautiful surrounding area!

Had a great four night stay at Seventh Heaven, the accommodation is excellent and the setting overlooking a lake on one side and a canal on the other is perfect if you are looking to connect with your zen. There is a games shed outside with table tennis, darts, bar skittles, swing ball and many more and also a fire pit/barbecue shack that can be used - weather permitting. Perfect for exploring the nearby Peak District or just chill out on the swing bench overlooking the lake. Definitely recommended 👌.

Gavin was very helpful. We was in another disgusting property from airbnb and we ended up getting moved over to Gavin's property around 10:30pm. He was more than helpful with every step of the booking and how to get to and access the property. The property was clean, tidy and homely. Loads of cooking utensils which if you stay in a lot of airbnb's is an absolute bonus. Shops in walking distance. Parking literally outside the front door with permit. All round great experience. Thank you again Gavin much appreciated.

Great stay, very close to alton towers which is why we went here. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets was so soft, had a great night's sleep! David left tea, coffee and milk which was a great touch 👌 having access to sky TV was great as this doesn't usually happen. The jacuzzi bath was lovely, loved the lights. David was a great host and was there if you needed him. overall very pleased with our visit 😊

Clean, tidy, deceptively spacious property. Worked for what we needed. Only feedback would be larger mirrors in the bedrooms for putting on make-up would be good. Would use again.

The owners are lovely and helpful people who responded immediately when we needed to resolve a situation (batteries in a heating control panel) and turned up with a bottle of wine and bisquits for the little inconvenience. Stay was pleasant, location is super quiet and bed comfortable - had great sleep. Place has everything we needed. Parking was not a problem (free street parking). Would stay again.
