Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rudkøbing

We had four really lovely days at the summerhouse over the winter holidays. It's a super cozy house! Not too big, but still with nice space to be there with family. Admittedly, we were only two adults, but intend to return with our adult children and their boyfriends. We used the wilderness bath a few times, and it was very special to sit in the hot water while the wind was rushing around us and the moon lit up the sky ✨ The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house, and there is really very nice nature in the area. Great place within short walking distance to the beach. In the house there is plenty of room for a family of four, and especially the trampoline in the garden was a huge hit outdoors. Everything lived up to expectations. We thank Thomas for a great stay and for his care of the guests as well as quick responses to communication. Would definitely recommend Thomas' place.

We felt very comfortable and the house was very cozy and your great accommodation on 4 stormy and rainy days. The house and the kitchen are really equipped with everything! For 10 people it is perfect, the road to the house is not paved, so who has a car with four-wheel drive should arrive quietly with it. :) Thank you for the great time!

We had some wonderful Christmas days at Nina and Erik's house. Good space and really good decor of the house. Incredibly beautiful views. Lovely quiet surroundings. A good little communal playground that the family's smallest made good use of. Short trip to the water.

We booked the place with several families for a few days - we all enjoyed it very much - due to the many possibilities - you always had something to do - definitely recommended. The only drawback - the rooms for sleeping - are quite small - and for some reason the second side of the closet is always screwed on. The beds on the plateau should be planned - only with two people - we had two larger children there - it is too high for small children and never fit there - there is also no closet for these. Keep this in mind when booking - if you're really a lot of people.

We had a wonderfully relaxed stay at Christina's hyggebo. It is very cozy and the cottage has everything you need. We were able to stay in the warm hot tub or sauna in cold weather and enjoyed staying with our children very much. Christina is a great and warm host who attaches great importance to detail. We were in the mood for a visit in summer to discover the island even more.

There was great reception. Kid-friendly beach. Everything was as expected. Highly recommend.

We spent two lovely days in this very nice villa close to the city center - walking distance to everything. We lacked nothing, however, some of the beds were right on the narrow side for sleepers of 185 +... We had a great communication with the host couple and the place is highly recommended!

It is a pleasure to stay in Birgit and Dietmar’s house. Cosy, personal and full of character in beautiful nature, the house is spotless clean and very comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives, a great hot shower and a huge bathtub. The house is so silent and relaxing with a nice view of the sea. As you walk along the scenic road you meet horses, sheep, countryside cats and in the garden you might see some hens. Birgit and Dietmar are very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for our wonderful weekend! We hope to be back one day.

A lovely house with beautiful views. The garden and terrace to have breakfast or dinner is ideal. Unfortunately we were only able to use it once as the weather changed slightly. We loved the close by beach, hours of fun swimming in the sea. Just a little note, bed linen and towels are not included (it states in the listing and was totally our fault to have not read it.) As we travelled for a bit prior we were not able to bring our own and had to buy it. It would be amazing to have an option to hire it.

We have been on vacation through airbnb many times, but this was the most amazing place of all. A nice house with very nice garden, with large trampoline, hammocks and several places to sit. With a few minutes walk you are on a kind of private beach, where you can swim and especially have a beautiful view. You can also walk to the port from there. Peace seekers who are not fond of luxury will definitely enjoy themselves here.

Lovely place, completely bed to the water and close to Faaborg. Will definitely book again another time if I get to those parts.

The apartment is located in the right wing of the 3-sided courtyard. The very large living room/kitchen room is on the ground floor, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. From the living room you can access a large terrace and into the huge garden, where we liked to play badminton. The kitchen is well equipped, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Everything was very clean! The house sits on a quiet street, and we were able to relax great with the magnificent tranquility. Dorte and Knut were very nice hosts and we immediately got along well with you. We would really appreciate it if it turns out again to visit there again!

The house is well located near beach. Because we had a few rainy days, no one can do anything. You can also make yourself comfortable in the house. The area is great for hiking or biking, but you can't expect a large infrastructure. A car or bikes are essential. Cultural offers are only limited if you are looking for the big city, you are wrong there. We were in Copenhagen for a day, which is well reached by train from Maribo. We had a wonderful rest and hiked a lot. Thank you Pernille.

I visited Lone and Holger's place with my 3 boys, and we have felt very welcome even before we checked in. We enjoyed the central location in relation to the water, bag cup, and the lonelands fort. Lovely house in quiet villa neighborhood, with good space and enclosed garden. Perfect for a family with kids. We've been here before and can only recommend it. We had family with us, and my aunt was shocked that you could just go in and feel at home. It should not be cleaned first, as she said she usually does when renting through rental agencies. And we can only give my aunt right. The place isn't missing anything, and Thurø is just a lovely and pretty place ❤️❤️❤️

Omø is an amazing island if you are into beautiful nature, tranquility and welcoming locals. This house is really tastefully decorated and with superb views from the living room and the nice wooden deck.

We have really enjoyed the days in the lovely house with amazing surroundings. Nice house with nice rooftop terrace and lovely garden. Super short walking distance to marina and city. Very good contact with the landlord throughout. We had a great time looking after a rabbit and cat and enjoyed Chili's company. We would love to come again and highly recommend this place.

What a lovely experience we had staying in Ritte's home for four nights. This is truly a home and full of personality, plants, decorative pieces and artwork (and very, very, clean). It felt like how Airbnb used to be, staying in a real home for an authentic experience. The living room, dining and kitchen are one great room with a lot of space to spread out. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for our family. My 5 and 7 year old daughters loved sleeping in the elevated bed, playing with legos and watching DVDs on the TV. The location is FAB, about a 10 minute walk to the brightly colored iconic beach huts, which by the way, you can see from the backyard! Going the opposite direction, about 10 minute walk into the heart of old town of Æroskobing. Tip if you have kids- there's a giant playground on the next property over (behind the greenhouse) that is part of a campsite. We enjoyed long dinners on on the patio while the summer sun lingered. Ritte was so kind and helpful.

Nice quiet place with plenty of room. Great area for families that don't want to stay in the city, but relatively close to Odense (Ringe is the closest town which is also nice).
