The location and the whole vibe of the house was amazing! There were a few books i was reading into that caught my eye! Thank you for the experience will be back in the summer or spring.

We had a great time, if anything the pictures don't do the place justice, it's beautiful. Great instructions on how to use everything, we hope to stay here again in the future.

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

This was such a charming little slice of heaven tucked away in the pines of Nevada city. We had the best time here, it was so cozy and every room was so beautiful. A few of my friends and sister both said they wanted to move in haha. Also loved the yurt that was near the main house, it is absolutely beautifully done and the cute bathroom near by was adorable. There decor around the whole house had us in love, we are big fans of mushrooms and we loved all the little trinkets and mushroom things. Also we loved that it had no tv, just a radio, that way we could just put some music on and just enjoyed each other’s company with no screens. It was a great bonding experience and we will definitely be back to this home away from home. Thank you to the most friendly and attentive hosts, you both made it very easy to stay and helped with all questions. What a pleasure it was to stay in your home.

Our experience was extraordinary! We loved the location, welcoming and clear instructions, and the space was exceptionally appointed from the design to the small touches. We loved our week at the house and hope to return in the future!

Definitely would stay again. We liked the cabin and nice location. Met our needs. Only wish there was an earlier check in and check out without paying a fee. But then again I didn't ask for an exception.

We were absolutely enchanted by our visit to the Fairy Tale Cottage! The forest is so peaceful… a refuge, really. The grounds are charming. Inside the home, Suzan has thought of everything. Just bring your toothpaste and toothbrush. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

The cabin is lovely, roomy, and great for two couples. The kitchen has most of what you might need for general cooking. The location is very tranquil, but it is a bit far from town/restaurants/groceries/etc. Bring what you need and hang out there and enjoy the space.

A friend of mine found this place for me as I was leaving my hometown to escape the toxic relationship and drug addiction. I tell you that only in the status of someone out there was like me you needed a peaceful space to be. This should be a spot we all have hard times and there’s no shame in admitting that you have been down and out. Rest assured that you’re not alone and that a place such as this would be a good spot for you to gather your thoughts and be comfortable. Timothy was super cool and flexible with me even when I didn’t know if I was gonna stay an extra night or not and if I ever find myself in a bind and I need to stay there again I would do so without hesitation. Nevada county is a special place and I’m going to be calling at home for quite some time.. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My dogs and I loved our recent stay at Amelia's! You can't beat this location. Downtown is just a couple blocks away with tons of cute shops, great coffee, and food. We hiked a few nearby trails, and everywhere downtown is really dog friendly. The bed is super comfy, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tub & fireplace. Amelia's place is super cozy!

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

Not only did Alla’s place look like the photos and have amazing views, but it was spotless and had everything you could possibly want or need available in the cabin. We have traveled a lot over the years and Sunrise Watch Mountain Cabin might have been the nicest and cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin and for being a fantastic host, Alla!

The Knotty Bear exceeded our expectations!! We had a wonderful time and wanted for nothing. Krista has lovingly supplied this place with everything you could possibly need! She was also super understanding and responsive. My dog had a blast and enjoyed the adorable amenities they provided just for him as well! 🐾🦴We woke up to a magical morning snowfall and it was only a quick drive to play in the snow! 🛷⛄️ We would happily stay again!

The home was very cozy, and Dan was proactive about checking in on our arrival time to make sure the house was warmed up and ready for us. The proximity to ski resorts was one of the reasons we chose the cabin, and having a quick 30 minute ride to the slopes made our mornings super easy. Everything in the home was easy to find, and we weren't lacking for anything we needed. We'd definitely stay again!

We loved being at this cabin for 2 months. It was comfortable for our family of four. Our kids enjoyed the property tremendously it’s a beautiful piece of land not too far from downtown and close to the river. It had everything we needed and the host was great. We will recommend it to family coming into town for visits.

My friends and I stayed at Angelli’s place on a ski trip to Boreal. The first great thing about it was the location. It was super easy to get to from the freeway and about 45 mins from Boreal. When we arrived, the place was spotless, very clean, and seemed very well maintained. I especially appreciated the “please remove shoes” sign at the door. Inside, the house was so cozy but also very spacious. As a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 girls), we had a lot of space to relax after a long day of skiing. The rooms were very comfortable as well (great beds for the adults, and the girls loved the bunk beds). The grounds are also very beautiful and we enjoyed a wonderful view of the mountains from the house. Last, Angelli was a very friendly accommodating, and responsive host. I would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend it to others.

Me and my family had a great time at Nancy's place. We loved the cabin, it was perfect for us. Lots of space to hang out and beautiful view. It was so quiet and peaceful there. The downstairs family room and bedroom were perfect for my 2 grandsons to hang out while we rested in the upstairs area with very comfortable sofas & a nice wood stove. The mattresses were also very comfortable . We loved playing pool and pingpong!. Nancy is an excellent host, she always replied fast to my questions and was very helpful. With a large kitchen, with everything we needed for cooking and serving our Thanksgiving dinner! The surrounding area and her yard were beautiful with all the trees. We enjoyed our walks to the Big lake and also to the smaller lake, both near the cabin, which I recommend everyone to go. We will definitely book it again if we go to visit that area in the future. It was very dog friendly too which I appreciated very much! Thank you!

We had a great stay at Bikram’s place. It's very clean and comfortable. Bikram and Kevin (who helps manage the place) were both very responsive. Kevin helped us get the outdoor fire pit going per our request. We had a great time around the fire pit after sunset. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a place close to the area. We will definitely come back again in the future.
