Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rochester

Liza’s home was beautiful, and it couldn’t be closer to Stowe Mountain Resort. It was the perfect ski trip house for my group, and the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

We came to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful and Jesse and Michelena are great hosts. They were extremely responsive and friendly. Glens falls is stunning, lots of friendly locals. The hot tub is amazing, so refreshing, especially in the winter! We can’t wait to come back

We had a wonderful stay with our 3 generation family of 10. The layout was perfect for us. Easy access to Mt Sunapee for skiing!

We had a great stay in the house. The hot tub and back yard patio were awesome amenities and exactly as shown. We rented the house for a ski weekend at Killington and found the commute back and forth super easy. Chris was also an attentive host, answering our questions promptly and providing a pleasant stay. Would stay here again

This is a lovely place for a get-away time. It's very comfortably furnished, spotless, and in a beautiful area. The kitchen is one of the most adequately equipped of any Airbnb place we have stayed in. The hosts are super responsive and helpful!

Laura's place is perfectly located--just a few minutes' drive to Okemo and very close to a general store and a few restaurants. The house is spacious, and notwithstanding being next to a train track, is very quiet. (Trains come very infrequently.) We had a nice stay at the place.

I've been to Burlington many times to visit my son and Lori's place is my favorite! So cute and comfy, clean and inviting! The charms of an old house but updated for modern convenience. Her attention to detail is quite evident making our experience even better, things like yummy snacks, chocolate on the bed, water filter in the fridge, great towels. I loved the Zebra kitchen so much! It's in a great location, close to downtown. The stairs to access the apartment are quite steep as she shares in her description, something to keep in mind, but we managed fine. Thank you Lori! We will be back!

Steven's airbnb was perfect for a long weekend getaway near Okemi mountain for my family of 4. The driveway was plowed and salted before our arrival and the clear directions made it easy to get in. It was clean and Steven provided extra towels, blankets and pillows for our stay. We loved Steven's unique artwork and fresh flowers made us feel right at home. Thanks for a great weekend! We would definitely return in the future.

Super cozy, super close to Okemo, as described and actually nicer than the photos in my opinion. Would stay there again for sure.

Kent’s place was perfect for our 2 days in Burlington. It had everything we needed and Kent even included some eggs, English muffins, cereal, coffee, and milk for our breakfast. He really went above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Sam is a friendly, generous, helpful host! He and his family live upstairs in this fun, modern building; the apartment is on the ground floor/daylight basement, but the house sits on a steep hill so the unit has plenty of natural light and does not feel like a basement. The separate entrance is located at the far end of the structure so it feels like a standalone unit with plenty of privacy. The neighborhood rises steeply from downtown Woodstock, up narrow, steep, windy roads. The streets were pretty consistently plowed, but drive slowly and cautiously, especially with snow. Also, like Sam says, don't just enter the address into Google Maps; it will try to take you elsewhere through someone's house and yard (haha!) Instead, follow Sam's directions. We loved the casual, yet carefully curated decor and found the bedroom super cozy with the most comfortable bed and linens. Our favorite was going on a cross-country ski adventure right out the back! June’s place is nice and cozy, great amenities including washer/dryer, beautiful views of Lake Champlain and Adirondack mountains. June was a responsive host and helped us get in to her place last minute with ease.

Cozy space, lovely hosts! Our arrival was perfectly timed with a snow storm. Our hosts were kind, flexible, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. The space is warm and colorful, with a nicely functional kitchen. The area is easily walkable from lakeside to Church St shops, even in snow. As others have mentioned, there is a decent amount of sound bleed between the guest and host spaces, but it was not a problem for us. Pretty typical for an older house, and adds to the coziness. :)

Lea was a phenomenal host! She provided clear instructions for how to enter her gorgeous home, proactively reached out to make sure we were able to get in, and thoughtfully reminded us about check-out timing and instructions. The place is exactly as pictured, in a lovely neighborhood with a private parking spot in a driveway, just a stone’s throw from a park if you’ve got a pup, and a slew of amazing restaurants. It was the perfect spot to stay in and I hope to repeat it the next time we’re in Burlington!

Perfect spot for our family holiday get together. Very quiet and relaxing visit. Lyn was a terrific host and went above and beyond to be sure we had no problems with our stay.

Cathy’s place is cozy and beds very comfortable! We loved the gas fireplace, plenty of towels, and hot water. Kitchen had what you needed. Recreational center with indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness area are great to visit as well. Close to the mountain and grocery/sandwich shop.

Great stay. We skied for two days at Stowe. Josh’s place was perfect for us and our kids to have a great ski week. Kids loved the hot tub!

My family of six stayed for a week at this AirBnB. When we walked in we were surprised at how spacious it was. There was plenty of cookware as well which made cooking meals easy! The host was very communicative and kind. It was so nice to allow our children the freedom of just going to the mountain with easy access. The space was very comfortable my only “issue” was the beds weren’t the most comfortable (they are spring mattresses) which was an easy fix with putting another blanket down on the bed. I would 10/10 stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. Perfect location for our entensions. Will definitely be back!

Dray was great - immediate response to any questions. Finding the place and getting in was easy. Had everything you need - maybe could of used a couple extra towels. Beds were comfortable. Great stay!

Great location for pico mountain. The ski on ski off was pretty easy to find and nicely located. The location is slightly less ideal for killington, as you need to take a shuttle that has multiple stops. We also ended up on a bigger bus to take us back from Killington and the drop off was on the main road, which was a bit difficult to walk on in our snow gear. Overall, nice apartment and perfect for my group of friends.
