Vacation rentals in Roane County

The breakfast in the morning was amazing, homemade food. The set up the breakfast table every morning and were so quick and quiet you didn't even know they were there. The farm is very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend.

I’m glad Heather’s place was available for a stop over while on a road trip. I would love to come back and stay longer. The backyard view was beautiful. The spaces inside were great. Host was very responsive.

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

A lovely peaceful getaway among the rolling hills in West Virginia with beautiful farmland all around. Rebecca, the co-host is fantastic and my stay was better because of her! She took me on a tour of the farm, the two farm dogs Thelma & Louise were so gentle and sweet…great companions on a walk, and Rebecca was very responsive. Benjamin has a lovely property and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in West Virginia!

Our family enjoyed Valorie's guest home as it was only 30 minutes from our weekend get-together. Valorie was helpful with directions and was kindvwoth her responses. Our family lo9ks forward to our next WV trip and hope to stay in Valorie's guest home again.

We have stayed here before and love the farm. The area is peaceful and off the beaten path. We particularly enjoy taking walks on the property. The walk to the grotto water fall an easy walk, the view and quiet solitude on top of the cliffs is delightful. I was also impressed with the renovations Rob did after the bathroom had a burst pipe from freezing this last winter. The new bathroom is bigger and well done. The new porch with a roof is great for having morning coffee, even if it’s raining. All in all a great place to get away for a few nights.
