Private suite vacation rentals in Rio Arriba County

This is our second visit to Diane's place. It's walkable to the plaza, and just the right size for us. Our daughter loves the bunk beds and floor pillows! The little patio is a great place to sit and chat with a beverage after a long day exploring. We will be back next year hopefully!

Wonderful stay at Mary and David’s space. I arrived Christmas Day with my husband and parents. The space was nice and warm when we arrived on the snowy night. The photos and description are exactly what you get. The lodge was perfect for what we needed, 2 bedrooms that are on opposite sides of each other with a nice spacious living room with a fireplace in between. We enjoyed the quaint area with lots of wilderness and pristine views. During our stay we went to Los Alamos (~1.5 hrs away), Taos (~30 min away), and Santa Fe (~1 hr and 10 min away). Great lodge and location for the perfect quiet getaway. Thank you Mary and David for being quick to respond to our inquires. Would love to return!

A great place for a solo traveler or couple looking to enjoy Taos. The place is conveniently located within the Taos Plaza and can easily be walked to from this place. A grocery store is a stone's throw away, making that a nice convenience as well. A great place to stay to enjoy the toww, but have easy access to the ski valley during the day.

wonderful people, interesting location and history

This was probably the prettiest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Skiing was our priority but we found ourselves excited about getting off the slopes and spending time at the Airbnb :). We had everything we needed and it was extremely comfortable. Also, every window has an incredible view!!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a return trip to the area. Really enjoyed the peaceful setting and conversation with Tom. His place is beautiful, watching the sunrise over the pond, listening to the beavers work through the night, it was perfect for what we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked almost every night. Comfy bed with clean linens. Sweet well water. Unique stay in a beautiful area, we hope to come back someday.

My stay was perfect. The space was spotless and more than advertised. Anita and Polo were great hosts and very responsive to anything I needed. There is a private entrance and private parking. I was by myself and felt safe my entire stay. They gave great recommendations for where to visit and where to stay away from. By the end of my visit, I was referring to it as home. I will be back next year.

Great place to stay. Husband and I were needing a place to stay just for a night, and this worked out well. Had enough room to park our truck and trailer.

What a lovely, thoughtfully appointed place, airy and bright and every detail just right. The view of the cottonwoods out the big back windows makes it feel like the unit is part of the natural surroundings, so whether you're sitting inside on the pretty swivel chairs or out on the deck you can enjoy the big skies and the day's weather. It felt peaceful and private even though there was another party in the adjoining unit. Super comfortable bed, nice big shower/bathroom, and so many nice, small touches throughout, from the coffee beans and grinder in the kitchen to the yoga mat/blocks stashed in the armoire. I wish I could have stayed for a month!
