Had a fantastic stay over New Year. Lovely house, had everything we needed for an extended family stay. The house was spacious, comfortable and warm. Amanda was quick to respond to messages and was always friendly and informative.

This house was perfect! Apart from the fact it’s beautiful and the attention to detail is outstanding- it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were writing for 3 days and it was peaceful, cosy and comfortable. Will book again!

Myself, husband 2 teenagers and 2 dogs had a lovely stay at Rebecca's! We went to the St Andrews Uni open day and her cottage was perfectly placed as only a few minutes drive away. Cottage was clean, spacious and well looked after with lots of nice touches. Log fire was very much enjoyed ! Enough kitchen essentials for us to cook for ourselves 2 out of 3 nights. And the small amount of washing powder in the utility room and access to a washing machine was v helpful! Thank you!

We all thoroughly enjoyed being in the house. It is spacious and extremely well equipped. Perfect location for the golf, shops, restaurants etc. Everything worked well and communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommend and we would all return in a heartbeat.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bright, spacious cottage. Fantastic setting and amazing views! Such a gorgeous village too, with great walks from the door and a really friendly, welcoming pub.

We loved our time at Cliff Cottage. Nestled on top of the cliffs overlooking St Cyrus beach, the location is stunning. The house was the perfect home away from home and Alison was an exceptional host, even going out of her way to let us know of local events that were happening during our stay. highly recommended and can't wait to visit again.

We were three couples in our 50s /60s away for a long weekend. House was a great entertaining house for sitting in the evening having a drink and listening to music. But great location for a day out to St Andrews, a coastal walk down to Pittenweem or just coming out in Anstruther. House was fab, fantastic rainfall shower in upstairs bathroom, 3 huge bedrooms and plenty socialising space between the two living rooms/ dining area and patio areas. Would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

Great apartment, comfortable, spacious clean and quiet. Very conveniently located if you want to explore Edinburgh, walking distance from the city centre. Agnes was a great host. Highly recommend.

Have thoroughly enjoyed an incredibly relaxing break at this beautiful cottage. The location is stunning in the heart of nature. Everything was perfect and the hosts could not have been more helpful. I look forward to returning as soon as possible!

Really enjoyed our short stay at Fay's place. Good communication throughout and the place is perfect for a quiet retreat with amazing views. Very well furnished and comfortable, everything you need for a few days exploring the local area.

Lovely old house, perfect place for extended family group to stay. The toys and the pool were loved by the children. Great for local rural walks and feels very much in the countryside despite being close to local towns.

We felt truly safe and happy there. The amenities are top notch and the decorations are simply amazing. We did not get to celebrate Hogmanay as it was cancelled but we were just happy staying in and ringing in the new year there as it was just so cosy and warm! Would love to repeat another stay during Summer!

Sam’s place and support were perfect. Each of the rooms were inviting and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and showers very good. The whole setting was charming and the location central to the town.

Such a fantastic property in such peaceful surroundings, yet only a short walk to the heart of the city. Can certainly highly recommend Hollybush Cottage, was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. The views, the wildlife, the space to enjoy, all made it such a memorable trip for us all. Thanks to Clare for being responsive and providing us with the perfect base.

Stayed for 3 nights with my dog. Holmhead exceeded my expectations and I felt instantly at home. The location is superb and perfect for exploring the Cairngorms or even just stepping outside the front door and being in the forest. The cottage is extremely well equipped for its size and I found a few things, for guests use, that I wasn't quite expecting, (hot water bottles :) ). The brand new electric heating is very effective and the log burner is 'ferocious', but definitely a must when temperatures were below freezing. Cat is a very gracious, accommodating and genial host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend thoroughly.

Phenomenal stay in this home. I wish it was mine. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable and spacious house. The only thing that would improve would be the size of the beds. The doubles are 1.35x1.90. It would be appreciated if they were a little bigger. Otherwise, the house is movie

Before we even arrived we had detailed instructions on absolutely everything we needed to know. About the perfect cabin, how to get there, everything you can do in the area including food places. I realised a week before that i needed to order a cake for my partners birthday and i asked if they recommeded anyone. They gave me the info for a lady and i got a cake at such short notice. We arrived around 7pm so didnt see the amazing views until the morning. We got inside the cozy cabin, inviting with towels on all beds, tea, coffee, biscuits. It can sleep 6 and there was only 2 of us and 2 dogs. There were dog beds under the single beds. Every little thing had been thought of. We needed an iron for our second night and the response was quick and we got one within a few hours. The views are incredible and i would recommend this quaint cabin along with the hosts, the hosts are what made an already beautiful place, incredible.

Lovely little cottage, perfect for our needs and excellent value for money. Hilary was a wonderful host, proactive in communicating anything we might know and leaving us a small welcome treat.

Clover Cottage at Brewlands Estate is quite simply stunning. Secluded location with just the sounds of the wildlife and the stream is perfect for a relaxing stay. Simon the host was just a call away if we needed anything, which we didn’t as the Cottage had everything we needed. The cottage it’s self was typical as what you would expect in a Scottish hideaway, the bathroom was beautiful and the bed and linen were 5* quality. The only downside with the decor was that the armchair looked like it had seen better days, however I think this is purely my preference. You do have to pay extra for electric which at first we thought was unfair due to the price of the stay, however for 4 days in a cold rainy snap was only £30 and this was with the constant running of the hot tub. Also bags of logs are £20 after the first bag, but we knew this and took our own. Overall we had a fabulous stay, would recommend to anyone and would 100% return.

Our family had the most fantastic stay at Wildcat Lodge - it was the perfect place for a 16 month old + 6 adults and there still would have been space for more of us. It was even more lovely than the photos, the location is breathtaking and there is so much to do in the area! Ron went above and beyond to make our stay carefree and enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!
