The first impression is “WOW”. The host created a beautiful, colorful accommodation which is spotless. It has everything you could possibly need. You can even grind your own coffee. Outside is a little paradise with a porch where we could feel a wonderful breeze and enjoy the birds and all the coconut trees out back. It was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The host is friendly, helpful and gave great instructions. Any question or problem to arise, he was right there. He recommended a good cafe nearby for lunch and explained to us everything we needed to know about the area. We extended our stay because we were so comfortable here. I will be back!

More amazing than I imagined. This place is fascinating as is the history of the town of Lares. I would suggest they also tell the story of each of the heros gracing the walls in the patio in English too. It would be nice if visitors from outside PR knew the history. My parents were both born here and I’m proud to see this tribute to our history. The manager, Juan, is incredibly helpful.

Juan G Host and housekeeper Juan R were amazing to us. The room was small for four but very cozy and the location was great. Quiet place and host and housekeeper were so helpful it made it all worth it. If you need a fridge or bigger room we recommend you contact host and he will make it happen. They do have bigger rooms. He has a small cooler style fridge in room but if you need a little bigger please ask, he is awesome and will help you with your needs. Overall great stay and we will be back. Oh and he has a generator in the event you loose power in the town. If you need tours or massages ask him and he will make it happen too. Thank you for a great stay. God Bless you all. One more thing he had waters and snacks waiting for us in room and housekeeper Juan gave us an extra coffee as a souvenir to take home, thank you :), we appreciated so much. This is our future spot when we return. Very safe hotel, he has security codes for all entrances. Free parking too. God Bless.

Very nice place and everything was very clean. The hostel was very helpful and answer all our questions. Highly recommended. They also have solar panels which helped a lot during new year black out. Overall a great experience staying there. We extended our stay for another week. We were close to Family and Friends.

Lares is a GREAT PLACE TO VISIT! Very peaceful community. Host was great every question answered and addressed great recommendations. House cozy and creative space. I almost wrote a whole book in the month we were there!! We would DEFINITELY REVISIT AND RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. The only issue we had was keeping all the white sparkling with our babies. THANKS FOR HOSTING OUR TRIBE!

This was our second time staying at Jose's place, and it our favorite by far. The place is clean, airy, and uncluttered. Its the perfect place to decompress and strech out and enjoy. This is our absolute preferred spot for Lares. The host was as before, very friendly and attentive. He answered all our questions and gave us suggestions on local spots to check out. overall 20/10 higly recommend 👌.
