We had the most wonderful weekend staying at Sandra and Alessandro’s place. To say it was peaceful is an understatement. We felt so relaxed and chilled from the moment we arrived, and were in awe of the property due to how detailed the decor and presentation are. The photos really do not do it justice. It’s just beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burner, cooking in the evenings, and walking around the area, it’s was just perfect. Sandra spoilt us with fresh food in the mornings for breakfast and even some sandwiches for lunch which were really unexpected and very kind. Everything is homemade and again, so thoughtful and considered- we were very grateful! The cats on the property were stunning, and we enjoyed Alessandro’s tour of the cat’s home and the information about the breed, they are so magical. This place is a true Air BnB experience, like it should be where you really experience someone’s home. Thank you for having us!

Lovely b&b in a great location for exploring Tuscany by car! The grocery store is a 2 minute walk and restaurants are 5-10 minutes away, all very convenient

We couldn’t be more grateful that we chose Antonio’s place for our stay. Not only were the surroundings extraordinary beautiful, the castle was just that extra touch of unique that made our trip something we will remember forever. Antonio and Kaci went above and beyond at recommending local villages, restaurants, and excursions throughout our trip and were kind enough to even make reservations for us. We loved staying here and can’t wait to come back again next time!

Wow what a place. This is a genuinely amazing property hidden in the hills of Tuscany. The house is one of a few in a secluded hamlet owned by Petra’s family and is surrounded by forest providing privacy and tranquility. The house is beautifully appointed and is sparkling clean. The upstairs rooms have panoramic eastern views, perfect for watching the sunrise. We even spotted a few deer grazing in the morning. Petra is a kind host who helped organise a dinner booking in a neighbouring restaurant and cooked an excellent breakfast including strong Italian coffee. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants a peaceful base from which to explore Tuscany - it’s only a 10min drive to San Gimignano. Thanks Petra for being such a gracious host. We look forward to staying again in the future.

My wish to find a pleasant place to explore Tuscany by bike and car has been confirmed - quiet, away from the hustle and bustle (but a recommended trattoria is within walking distance!), with lots of greenery, but above all a likeable and accommodating hostess who always has tips about the area ready. All in all, a place to feel at home!

Warm hosts. We were super comfortable and also our dog was welcome everywhere. The house is super nice and nicely decorated. Our room was clean, had great furniture and a cozy bed. There was also an air conditioner and a fan. The house sits on a street. With the windows and air conditioning closed, there is nothing to note here. The breakfast was delicious. (Mostly sweet) There was also coffee with warm milk. Sausage came from my own butcher's shop. (One house away) Large garden available, but we did not use it. Ideal starting point for the Chianti region, as well as to beautiful mountain villages such as San Gimignano and Volterra. We felt super comfortable and the communication was always fast, super nice and very warm. We'll be back.

I love this old school and authentic hospitality, feeling very welcome and almost as with family. I would always stay at Serena's B&B if I would travel to Castellina again!

If I could say how beautiful this place is, you would not believe me until you finally get to experience this this is a five star absolutely gorgeous old farmhouse totally renovated into a most magnificent, beautiful Homie authentic place where you can rest you can walk you could totally enjoy your surroundings and also every little nook and granny has something unusual and different in it. The food if I can tell you is spectacular it was the best food we’ve ever eaten. Pedro was such a wonderful, wonderful host and all the staff have been wonderful caring giving us suggestions on where to go we never left for other restaurants to eat we ate here. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The dinner. The nightly dinners were beautiful. Michelin star rated tried to stay another night, but they are fully booked. There’s not enough words to describe how beautiful this place is I don’t wanna say too much cause I don’t wanna give it away Pedro you have done an amazing job with Diego!! Thank you!!!

We loved this place! Great hosts. Storybook type room / accommodations. Everything was super clean and and top quality! Every detail of the room and library was well thought out. Nice breakfast! Super close to San Donato. Note: The steep driveway down to this gorgeous property is not for the faint of heart. We will stay here again!

A little hard to find the right driveway, but hosts were extremely helpful and came out to assist. The unit was lovely, the hosts friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We were guests in Alessandra's B&B for 3 nights, she was very kind, friendly and helpful. Dedicated parking space, clean room and equipped with all necessary amenities, good and abundant breakfast, Alessandra was kind enough to make us find breakfast even after we had the scheduled time. Absolutely recommended.

Simonetta and Pierro were very welcoming and gave us lots of hints and tips for the area. The view from the living room on the sea towards Elba and the old town is really amazing and from there you can also experience beautiful sunsets. Every morning there is a bit of a different breakfast. Very nice hosts.

Rita and Andrea are lovely hosts. It was a pleasure to spend time with them. The accommodations are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast served in the morning consisted of homemade cakes, yogurt, fruit and coffee.

Alessandra's place is very close to Siena by car, it looks like it in the countryside but it is not far from the road so you can't expect absolute calm in the garden, the accommodation is very clean, pretty, functional and modern (quiet inside) the breakfast room and breakfast are at the top, and Alessandra and her friend who speaks very good French ( I forgot her first name) are absolutely adorable and available. In short, we stayed there for two nights and we advise you to go:)

When we arrived, Nicolò warmly welcomed us, who kindly showed us the room that was fragrant, clean and cared for in every detail. We opted for dinner in the room prepared by them, consisting of local products such as appetizers, homemade pasta, and a delicious dessert. Salted breakfast for me (eggs, sausage, bread and orange juice) and sweet for my partner (crêpes, banana, milk and granola). We felt right at home. Thanks again Gaia and Nicolò 🫶

Excellent experience. The room is really nice, equipped with everything you need and above all... very clean. Rosy was an exceptional host and provided precise directions to the house rules and location. The structure is just outside the historical center of Arezzo and in an ideal location for visiting Florence and Siena. Highly recommended.
