I was looking for a place to stay with my girlfriend, we wanted to spend a weekend of pure relaxation in Abruzzo and we came across the listing of Matteo's Hermitage suite. We were immediately captured by the photos that offered a finely furnished apartment with a breathtaking view of a green valley. Upon our arrival, Matteo welcomed us warmly, showing us every corner of the apartment and providing us with all kinds of information about the operation of the appliances, as well as the amenities of the house; he was also very helpful in providing us with directions on where to eat breakfast and lunch or dinner. As for the apartment, it was absolutely impeccable, as it appeared in the photo and waking up to that view, it is priceless! The village of Dogliola is very nice and characteristic, well positioned to reach destinations such as Vasto (about 30 minutes). Highly recommended accommodation and Hosts!!!

We had a great experience at the Airbnb accommodation in Dogliola, Abruzzo. Matteo, our host, was outstanding - his warm hospitality and helpfulness made our stay worth while. The charm of this village lies not only in its picturesque surroundings, but also in the incredible warmth of its people. The villagers' welcoming and open nature added an extra layer of joy to our trip. From comfortable amenities to a delightful local atmosphere, this stay exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend this gem of a destination!

beautiful studio in the beautiful old town. convenient! comfortable bed. I felt safe and enjoyed having a mini plaza with a beautiful view two doors down. Google maps had a hard time finding the front door. so look for number 60 and know that there's an iron gate next door which will lead you down the small hallway to the unit#66. the only other odd thing is there was no cooking stove top though there were pots and pans for cooking.

Giuseppe's highlights are hospitality, care, and availability. He greeted us with handmade gifts and helped carry suitcases. I emphasize that he did not happen there by accident: his roots are deeply planted in the village: in the small square there is a monument with the names of his ancestors, and he is a profound connoisseur of the place and surroundings. The other inhabitants of the village have their own kindness. The whole country welcomed us when they found out we were his guests. Yes. The most authentic experience of how you live in the perched village is in Giuseppe's little house, full of steps, where his grandmother lived who grazed her animals in the nearby hills, full of beautiful trails. Our tips: Off-Road Car, Hiking shoes and Visit the nearby villages. (If you happen to be in Gissi, at the Antica Salumeria del Corso you will find the best greedinesses) 🥇For the immense connection with Carpineto and the unique experience, we name Giuseppe the Host doc d 'Abruzzo!

Roberto and Maria are beautiful people. I have to thank them both for their hospitality but above all a huge thank you to Roberto who was close to my arrival since a few kilometers before arriving my car broke down and he spent an entire afternoon with me to try to solve the problem, a really kind and helpful person, difficult to find similar ones! Beyond that, the place is beautiful, 15 minutes from the beaches of San salvo and with a really fantastic view in the open countryside. Roberto and Maria cultivate everything, my son really appreciated their really great plums. Thank you both very much, as soon as possible we will definitely be back ❤️

I stayed at this B&B for a weekend and could not be more satisfied. The property is taken care of down to the smallest detail, very clean and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, bright and equipped with all comforts. Breakfast and all the orchid for the kitchen were a real pleasure. The location is perfect, both for those who want to relax and visit nearby. Highly recommended

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village of Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well appointed. The owners are adorable people who also have a restaurant in the center, which we advise you to try.

Massimiliano and family were exceptionally helpful with communicating before we checked in. We always had a quick response to any question before and during our stay. The apartment is absolutely adorable, very true to the pictures. it has eveeverything you'll need. We loved being in the old city, close to great restaurants and ancient history.
