Cabin vacation rentals in Potomac River

I loved the place and the attention of the host. She was very attentive at all times and made us feel at home. The place was very nice and the location is very private so I could enjoy it without feeling like there was someone nearby. People who are afraid of animals since it is a forest or close to nature, I can tell you that in the 3 days I was there I did not see any animals, you can be safe in that part. I liked that the TV had Disney, Amazon and Hulu. I loved that the cocka was equipped for all my needs. Thank you.

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the Super hosts that made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable!! We drove 14hrs to stay here and when we parked and stepped out on the property you can hear the soothing sound of the running stream surrounding the property, they had the hot tub turned on and every bit of this place was spotless and cozy!! They did not leave anything out. First time I’ve ever rated an air bnb stay but this place was well deserving of praise.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

This place is the perfect getaway! It’s a lovely spot to chill and get away from everything. Highly recommend - and some fun vineyard spots to check out in the area!

We had the most amazing time! It was so relaxing and a beautiful cabin at a great location. We love how secluded and private it was. Even better that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! He got to swim while we kayaked. Felt right at home, thank you again Brandi for opening your home up to us!

Beautiful location and amazing views!! The driveway definitely requires a 4x4, especially in a snowstorm! We got snowed in for the week, but honestly didn't care because the house had more than enough, and we'd have definitely stayed longer if it would have been an option!

We used the space for a retreat with ten people and it was amazing! Really beautiful if you're looking for a secluded countryside. The host was incredibly responsive and provided a lot of communication. Would definitely recommend!

This cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities needed for travel. The neighbor feeds deer in the morning and my kids loved seeing so many deer in the woods! The cabin is clean and as described. The game room was a huge hit and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Jeff & Sam’s cabin! It was extremely peaceful, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked especially in the kitchen. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a huge highlight. The living room was remarkably cozy with the retro fireplace. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the most amazing stay with Wes & Cynthia! The cabin is beautiful & we had the most peaceful weekend. It's well-stocked with everything you need for a visit. Also, we had a late-night emergency and they went above and beyond to help us immediately. Couldn't recommend them/this stay more!

Cabin includes a working fireplace and wood. Really enjoyed roaring fire on a cool evening. We even made smores.

A perfect small cabin the woods. The location is perfect if you’re hiking, winery hopping, or just relaxing indoors. Even in the winter, the cabin stays very warm. Thanks to Reagan for a nice stay and quick answers to questions.

The cabin is beautiful and had plenty of room for us (6 adults, 3 kids & 1 infant). Everything was exactly how it is pictured! The hosts couldn’t have been nicer & were very accommodating. Location was perfect for all that we wanted to see including Luray Caverns & hiking Shenandoah National Park. Our family vacation was perfect and we look forward to staying there again in the future!

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

Great spot! Hope very much to return. Pros: very nicely appointed cabin. Not luxury but pretty close! Has all the things you need to make an enjoyable stay. Incredibly good access to hiking, both on foot straight from cabin and by taking a short drive. We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the supply of firewood. We went in the winter and it was nice to get a bit of snow. Would probably be gorgeous bird watching and such in the summer. Really nice to be surrounded by nothing but trees. Felt like we had a whole mountain to ourselves. Cons: I am noise sensitive, and I did find the main cabin to be pretty close quarters. So if you’re like me or are seeking privacy or quiet amongst a loud group of folks, maybe something to think about. Also not the easiest kitchen to make a big meal (no dishwasher, small drying rack) but we definitely made it work for 5 people. Also to note — we had a couple 2WD cars that made it up the hill to the cabin, but we brought them back down hill for snow

This is the second time in as many years that we have stayed at the cabin and as with the first time it was just as wonderful. We were joined on our trip by our two Scottish Terrier fur kids and being pet friendly is a definite plus. The cabin is just as described, maybe even better. The term cabin conjures up visions of rustic and minimal amenities which is just the opposite of what this home presents. Modern touches all around from the electric fireplace, widescreen TV, gourmet kitchen, spotless bedrooms and bathrooms, screened porch and hot tub. All the modern features you could want. We again spend 5 nights and as with the first time when we parked the vehicle, we did not move it again until we checked out. With us being in stressful public service careers, just being away from it all is the most relaxing thing you can get. Lindsey is very responsive and professional. We tried another place last year, but it was nothing like the cabin. We will be back again! Pete and Janet

We stayed at the Cozy Cabin for five weeks with two dogs. The home is well-equipped for a long-term stay. The A-frame cabin is tastefully decorated and feels large, with cathedral ceilings. During our stay, there were two snow storms, and our hosts, Mark and Beatriz, reached out both times and asked if we needed the driveway plowed. We accidentally had mail delivered to their cluster box-style mailbox and they were more than happy to deliver the mail to us. Very thoughtful and accommodating hosts. We highly recommend them and their lovely home. Book it! You won't be sorry.

The place was awesome, clean, and beautiful. We went on a few hikes around the property, and one to a lookout spot nearby. So much to see and do around there. Levi even took the kids up to checkout the fish farm and they loved it. We'll definitely be staying again.

Phenomenal experience! Ryann was extremely communicative and accommodating. We stayed right after a snow storm, and Ryann immediately reached out and warned us that the driveway may be difficult to get up and offered us an alternative accommodation. We declined and said that we’d be fine parking at the bottom of the hill and walking up the driveway - he still ensured that the driveway was plowed for us! Unfortunately on the day of our check-in it snowed a bit more, and we couldn’t get all the way up the driveway. However, we were able to walk up just fine. Absent the snow, getting up the driveway would have been no problem. Even if you’re worried about snow, you can book this place with the confidence that the host will do all they can to make your stay as smooth as possible. The place was also clean and had stunning views! If you’re looking to stay in the area, I can’t recommend this place enough!
