Beach house vacation rentals in Porto

Our stay at Thiago's house was incredible! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a sunny winter week. We took many walks on the beach and had lunch at a nearby restaurant, which I highly recommend - Restaurant 12. The house is very comfortable and cozy. Thiago's mother is super friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. It was an amazing week!

Liliana’s home is perfect for a family holiday. We had mixed age groups and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom is good for older generation with easy access. We were by the beach for walks and nearby was a cafe and restaurant for evening meals and morning coffees and cakes. We got Ubers into Porto which were very easy to get and reasonably priced. You can have busy days in Porto and quieter evenings in the house in Gaia which suited us perfectly. Liliana was a fantastic host who organised a cab for us from the airport. Any questions we had she provided quick answers and helpful tips. I would definitely recommend the house and host. Just for info - We took a bus tour in Porto for 48 hours would take the bus to the point closest to the house and grab an Uber from there which worked out cheaper.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruca’s place with our family. She was extremely helpful and friendly and we felt at home right away. The house is located literally on the front of the beach and there is a back door giving access to the beach. The place is spacious, the garden big and neat. Ideal for families. Thank you Ruca for your warm welcome!

We stayed a few days for 2, during our motorbike trip. An adorable house, full of history and character! Its vintage side does not take away from the fact that it is very well equipped and offers everything that is essential. Beautifully located, it overlooks a vast very beautiful beach, with all the shops nearby. And what a calm! The small terrace allows you to eat outside in complete privacy, and the proximity of the owners is not at all inconvenient, the distribution of spaces is very well organized. Exactly, a special mention for Célia who welcomed us with such kindness, full of good advice and available. Thanks to her, we were finally able to taste our first Percebes, which she harvested and cooked for us. Absolutely delicious and touching attention. In short, an extra stay, exotic and very relaxing facing the ocean, we loved it!!!!

Nuno's house is a wonderful place to spend a few days in peace and quiet. From the living room window we could see the sea and despite having restaurants on either side of the house, the noise was never a problem. The house was clean and tidy and matched the listing. In fact, I would say that even the listing doesn't do it justice. The village is very quiet and you have all the essentials nearby: restaurants and a small supermarket with all the basics to spend a few days. The train station is 5 minutes from the house and Porto is 30 minutes by train. In addition, less than 1 hour walking along a wooden promenade and always facing the sea, you have Espinho, which is much larger and has a lot of atmosphere. Also a 30-minute walk to Miramar, from whose beach you can see incredible sunsets. When I return to Aguda, Nuno's house will be one of my options to stay again.

Friendly host, very smooth communication. Very spacious house with a large garden. Quiet neighborhood, hassle-free parking in front of the door. Play area for the kids. Nearby, outside the beach and the sea, there is little to do, but there is an easy train connection to Porto. Recommended!

Second week just as good as the first. Exceptionally well equipped apartment, immaculately clean, beautifully kept garden and pool area, and Daniel was the perfect host. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

This place was a great find in a peaceful area. The house is private and secure. There is a nice stretch of beach that is walkable. Taxis were cheap to get into the city centre

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

We had a lovely time at this large, very functional house with this beautiful pool and the beach less than 100 meters away! Thank you so much to Daniel who is a very kind and responsive host!

Wow I really enjoyed the stay. The place is impeccably styled and is very conveniently located. The host is awesome and we were fed a daily supply of crazy amount of bread and pastries. What is not immediately clear from the photos is that the place is in a vicinity of a big port, but that is actually a very interesting view to see so we're more than enjoyed the stay and would totally come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

The house was perfect for our family holiday. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and there was a supermarket only 3 minute walk away. Parking was easy in the street in front of the house or in the driveway inside the gate. The kitchen dining area and living area were perfect for relaxing and family meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. All 5 bedrooms had their own bathroom which was super convenient. Great place to stay with a large group or family.

A big thanks to Nuno, a fantastic host - so helpful, responsive and welcoming! The studio was exactly as described, very clean and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches like wine and snacks. The bed, though compact, was very comfortable and the gated parking was a great plus. Nuno was always available to grant access if needed, which was really helpful. The street in front was busier than we expected, with some cars passing quite fast, which felt a bit unsettling at times. That said, by around 23:00, it got quieter. The studio had a slight earthy smell, likely due to humidity and occasionally we smelled cigarette smoke even with the windows closed. The Foz neighborhood is generally very nice and upscale and despite some small drawbacks, this apartment was a convenient base for exploring Porto. Nuno’s hospitality really stood out!

We have had a fantastic holiday. Segio's spacious 6-person holiday home is fully furnished. Two bathrooms with a toilet are very nice. But the washing machine is also practical because we stayed for over two weeks. There is always a place in the sun or shade in the garden around the house. There is a private parking space at the house, but there are plenty of parking spaces in the street. Sergio is a hospitable host, he is helpful and easily accessible. During our two week stay the house was cleaned and all towels and beds changed. An extra service that we appreciate. The house is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the beach. On the dunes and along the beach there are kilometers of walking routes on wooden footpaths. By car you are within 20 minutes in the center of Porto and within an hour in places such as Guimarães, Penafiel or a recommended walking route "Passadiços do Paiva". The station is a 7-minute walk. The train takes you to Porto station Campanhã within 23 minutes. For walkers it is a 1.5 kilometer walk to the center. But you can also transfer to train or metro. During the summer months it can be very hot in Porto. On the coast it is much more pleasant and yet only 20 minutes from the center of Porto. In short, this vacation rental is a must.

Check in went smoothly, communication was very good and the apartment is as described. Also a great proximity to the beach.

The accommodation is very well located to reach all the places as a family if you go by car, near the beach, a very quiet area. Pedro is quick to answer and resolves any inconvenience very quickly and effectively. We felt very comfortable.
