Cabin vacation rentals in Portland

Our family of four got away for two nights and loved every minute at Peter's lakeside home. Large windows allow for lake views from inside. We enjoyed the warmth of the hot tub. Peter's place had everything we needed. We hope to return!

We had a great late October stay for our honeymoon. The cabin was definitely warm enough for the 30 degree temperatures. Hot tub was amazing, that was clean as well. The outdoor kitchen was very convenient, even when it rains the kitchen is still covered. We had an amazing stay, will be visiting again!

Our stay at Lisa’s cabin was incredible. The attention to detail, every amenity and of course the beautiful home itself were beyond amazing. The cabin was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of blankets for curling up on the couch to watch movies. We stayed with our two children ages 14 and 12, the loft had a pop a shot basketball hoop as well as NBA jam which was perfect for our son and he was thrilled to find a mini hoop downstairs on the main level too! The hot tub of course was an added bonus to the already perfect cozy cabin! We loved the downstairs master room and separate living area with a cute little bar and its own coffee station. We will definitely be back again!

We had the most amazing time! Such a romantic experience! Everything was clean, felt very at home, and cozy! Loved the jacuzzi despite the freezing temps outside! Very relaxing getaway! We would love to come back in the future!

Audrey and Seb’s place was a cute place for a little getaway. My boyfriend and I loved the house and the hot tub was very relaxing! I would go be back!

We had an amazing time, it’s very intimate. There are neighbors but everyone was friendly. Kitchen is outside, it was cool prepping outside. The hot tub was probably our favorite part, especially with the colder weather coming in. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful. We’ll be back

We had a great time staying here for our ten year anniversary. There were plenty of games to keep us entertained. The wood stove kept us nice and cozzy, after coming in cold an wet from the hut tub. The place is conveniently close to any kind of store, should you find you forgot something at home. There are plenty of restaurant's to choose from, and it is far enough from the coast to keep you out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough that a day trip isnt a second thought. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is beautiful and cozy, it almost looked brand new. Everything was spot clean and well organized upon arrival. It was very generously stocked with everything from linens and bath supplies to pantry supplies, kitchen utensils and modern equipment. The bed and sofa-bed were reasonably comfortable, and we had access to multiple TV streaming options and strong WiFi. The location is very nice and great for a stroll around, and the view of the lake from the cabin is just breathtaking. We couldn't use the lake due to freezing temperatures but it sounds like a lot of fun could be had there. The hot tub in the lower level deck looking to the lake is an amazing addition, we ended up spending almost an entire day just going in and out of it. The host was very responsive from the moment we made the reservation up to checkout, promptly answering every question and helping where possible. Overall this is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy, we had a great time with family and friends!

Perfect spot to get away and have some "me" time. Sat in front of the fireplace, read my book and got some work done. upstairs bed was extremely comfortable and happy to have a window to let some cool air in. site feels very remote but extremely close to shopping and other amamenities.

The house was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed to cook and just be together with family and friends. There was a steakhouse pretty close by that had amazing food. The beds were super comphy aslo. We will definitely stay again.

We had such a lovely stay at Frye Island and would love to return sometime soon. We had a very comfortable stay with five adults and had everything we needed. Christina is a top tier communicator and we felt very prepared for everything the island had in store for us.

We had a great off-season stay! The kids and dog loved playing in the snow in the large yard and sledding down gentle hills. The driveway directly in front of the house is steep, and was icy during our stay (due to weather conditions out of Sarah’s control) - but Sarah was proactive about having it sanded and safe for us to load/unload, and maintained regularly during our stay. The view of the harbor from the top of the dock ramp was stunning with the fresh snow, and the stars on a clear night breathtaking.

This place is amazing! The house is a comfy, cozy, modern Maine cabin with beautiful decor & views. It has almost anything you need- toaster oven, coffee maker, electric stove, hot water kettle, tea/coffee/condiments & tv & a computer. The deck & yard are really nice & spacious & the neighborhood is great, too, feels very safe & people are friendly. There’s detailed information available from local attractions, to filling the wood pellet burning stove. From mattresses to toilet paper everything provided was good quality. The thoughtfulness that went into preparing the house was very much appreciated. The hosts were responsive, friendly and informative. I definitely want to come back & stay again.

great place, location, and beautiful lake nearby. I recommend four wheel drive to get up the little hill in winter, as my little Honda Fit struggled. hosts were very responsive and helpful!

The cabin was great! We loved spending time there with family. We felt right at home and Tom was an amazing host.

An absolutely beautiful and relaxing weekend away at Heidi and Bob’s camp. Close to restaurants, hiking and other activities. Loved listening to all of the loons and sitting by the lake. Would recommend and will be back!

Host’s were extremely friendly and accommodating. You have your own private dock to fish from or swim. Kayaks were available and such a treat on the beautiful pond. Close proximity to Portland made for a nice night out. Will book again.

I thought it looked too much like a motel with cabins too close to each other, but my husband chose it. Turned out the proximity of other cabins wasn't an issue at all. The place is surrounded by trees, there's a beautiful lake a 2-minute walk away. Plenty of parking. It looked much smaller in the fotos than it felt inside. I didn't like the bunkbeds, but they turned out to be great. We had the choice to sleep together or apart. I would have liked one small comfortable chair for reading and a clipon lamp or 2 for better light for reading in bed or at the table, & we couldn't figure out the TV. But these are suggestions, not complaints. We were very happy. Staff were very friendly. Wish we'd checked out the restaurant on premises. Next time!

I had a very relaxing long weekend, just what I needed for a private getaway alone. The home was cozy and comfortable, everything I needed was easy to find. I traveled alone so I would have been a bit more comfortable if there had been curtains or blinds in the main living area, however, they were in all the bedrooms. Privacy at night is just important to me. The location was very private and felt away from the world, the furniture was very comfortable which I find important on a VK anywhere. The host was extremely responsive also extremely. important.

If you are looking for prestige, this is not the place for you. However, if you are seeking a rustic retreat from the outside world. You have found your place to call home for however long you decide to stay. The pictures online do not do any justice for the outside view. We took the kayaks and canoe out. Fished and even spent sometimes at the casino. The best part of our trip was sitting on the waters edge. No kids, no cars... just us. There are houses on either side, but all you could hear are acorns dropping. Ok, with us. We did go early September, so summer may be a bit different. Just a few things that are absolutely out of her control. The lake has a damn so the water was really low. I am sure during the summer this would be different. This did not affect our time there. Also, definitely bring water shoes, which she also told us before heading up. We were really happy there and will be back!

We loved staying on moose pond at Jennifer’s cozy cabin! We decided to do a last minute ski trip with our two young kids and it was a blast! Pleasant mountain is a 4-5 min drive, so we got to enjoy the day there and then cozied up at night watching movies. Jennifer and Ian were so responsive when we had questions and were super nice. Thank you guys, we had a great weekend!

This beautiful and peaceful space was the perfect getaway for myself, my dad, and my son. It was so clean and cozy! The fire pit was perfect for the chilly fall nights. We just felt like we had everything we needed at our fingertips, and James was very helpful and kind with the easy couple of questions we had. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Emily and James’s air bnb home. Such a great price for such a beautiful space. Can’t wait to plan our next visit there!
