We stayed at Mollie's over Christmas and New Year and had a great time. The house is beautifully set out with stylish art and unique furniture. For us the stand out room was the kitchen (where we spent a lot of time as a family) - it's spacious, warm and opens out onto a lovely little back yard. It was great for Christmas and new year celebrations. Mollie also made the effort to put up a lovely Christmas tree and decorations to make us feel very festive. The whole house is well appointed with everything you need and the bathroom is lovely as well with a great shower and deep traditional bath. The local area is very nice with a supermarket just a few minutes walk as well as local grocers, coffee shops and restaurants too. We also enjoyed some of the excellent pubs really close by within a few minutes walk of the house. There are also parks nearby for dog walks and the city centre is walkable too. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Mollie!

Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely town to stay in and to explore, and is also a great location to stay to access Bath. This house is so close to the British Rail station that we were able to use the train as a 10 minute shuffle service and avoid the hassle of Bath traffic and car parking.

Really comfortable house at a great price. Lovely and warm despite the weather being freezing! Everything you could need for a holiday, including a cute little outdoor sitting area. Walkable distance to Frome town centre, also pubs, chippy, supermarkets within walking distance. Good communication from the hosts. We would definitely recommend.

If you have been lucky enough to find this place in your search, stop looking and book immediately! This was the perfect place for a wedding anniversary/friends’s reunion with couples and kids. The house is beautiful, beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you never knew you needed, board games and loads of other thoughtful touches. Our hosts were super accommodating and responsive. We didn’t want to leave! There are lots of nice pubs nearby and Westonbirt arboretum is nearby but honestly we were happiest just chatting and having a glass of wine in the kitchen by the aga. Thank you for having us!

We had a great stay at Julia’s lovely cottage. It was my parents first time visiting the Cotswolds and the location around Brimscombe/Stroud really lends itself as a great base to adventure out from. The house itself was very well equipped and really had everything you would need for a country escape

Lovely place—we only stayed the night, but it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, clean, and well apportioned with modern appliances and such. 10/10

We stayed for 2 nights with 5 couples and 2 dogs. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. The place was full of character, comfortable and warm. Samantha was very helpful, kind and proactive and always quick to respond. we all had a fabulous stay.

Really great stay, in a really unique place. Everything was just as it says - and the added bonus of high ceilings, two levels, and the pool being attached to the living room really makes it a special stay. It’s a working farm, and just loved being around that country life energy!

Had a really fantastic stay at Gill’s place for a joint 30th birthday celebration. George met us upon arrival and was happy to give us recommendations and show us round the house. The house itself was lovely - spent many hours playing pool or board games round the giant dining table. We also loved sitting by the log fire or running out in the rain to the sauna/steam room. Beds were comfy and bathrooms in good clean condition. Would love to return in the summer so we can enjoy the pool and outdoor space!

Fantastic house, lots to do either with a group or if you wanted time to yourself. The pool was amazing along with the hot tub and the games room was entertaining. The kitchen is a great hosting space also.

Our stay at Orchard Barn was lovely. Beautiful peaceful location. Gemma and Roly were great hosts - always happy to help. We have booked again already!

Lovely little place - compact and perfectly formed ! Amanda was a brilliant host and went above and beyond to make sure my stay here with my two cockerpoos was as comfortable as possible. Little treats were left including beautiful fresh flowers. Very well equipped, clean modern kitchen. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, the bedding was of good quality as were the towels. Powerful hot shower in a lovely little bathroom added to my fabulous experience in staying at Joes place. Two lovely pubs in the village and lots of cute walks to tire out the pups ! The accommodation was very comfortable. The beds in particular were excellent. The living room was cosy. We liked the dining area where we ate our meals. The kitchen was well equipped. The cottage was in a lovely, quiet area.

Great stay and fab host! Very easy to check in and so close to Bristol airport which was great as we had an early flight the next morning. Would stay again!

The place was great. As soon as you walk through the door you realise that this is an oasis of calm. The kids loved the bunk beds and grandparents the master bedroom. Great part of the world and extremely convenient. :)

The cottage is gorgeous and Virginie ensured we had everything we needed for a luxurious and cosy stay. The garden is perfect for a dog, and there are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep!

wow, what a wonderful little out of the way place. the studio was well set out, quite quirky, which we loved. great shower with a nice compact kitchen with everything needed to cook for 2. air fryer a bonus. the bed was very large and comfortable, and the place lovely and warm. hot tub lovely and warm for mid February. we used it 4 times in 2 days!. Louise was very nice and informative. a 10 min walk in to town for fish and chips. recommend a visit to lydney harbour and soudley ponds. will try and sneak in another visit in August, if there is space!!

Lovely place to stay. Clean and warm. We had a fantastic one night stay and would have liked to stay longer. The welcome pack of food was greatly appreciated by the kids. We enjoyed playing board games in the living room.

Five star! home from home as soon as we walked in; lovely decor and thoughtful touches; warm and easy to keep cosy; comfy beds; great tv; and spotlessly clean. Quiet location, but convenient for Bristol city centre and everything you need on the doorstep for food, shopping and cinema. Looks like there are nice walks close by in the summer. Easy off street parking and the enclosed garden is neat and tidy even in the winter and feels very private. Charlie is a great host, very responsive and friendly. Can highly recommend.
