Vacation rentals in Porticato

The house was perfect for our visit to the Catania area. All 3 bedrooms were clean, air conditioned, and spacious with private baths. The pictures in the listing show exactly what you can expect. The outside patio and porch areas are beautiful and great for enjoying a morning coffee and evening beverage. Marco worked with us to accommodate an early check-in. He promptly responded to all of our requests and concerns. The house is gated so privacy and security was not a concern.

Warmly recommended . Confirm what many have written. 5 minute walk to little town has everything for your basic needs. Fabulous cafe on Main Street. Cheese shop that has fresh bursts and mozzarella. House has all the facilities anyone could need on a vacation whether young or old, including a basil plan for salads!! Everything is clean and has been thought of and taken care of. Plenty of space for 9 people. Beautiful gardens and pool. We were sorry we could not take more advantage of pool as weather was not great. The bbq area is unbelievable. Good value if you go with 9 people. Close to Giardini a holiday town and Taormina, which is pretty but full of tourists. Need a car to get around but close to Giardini which has access to all buses and trains. Finally as has been said the owners are helpful and kind and available at all times to help.

Property has absolutely delightful outside space and the master bedroom is fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped. The check in instructions could be clearer on the listing, and the address took us to the next road, but Roberta was a delight to deal with and quickly put us right - they could enhance the check in instructions because until they messaged, we weren’t clear quite what we were doing. The second and third bedrooms are fine and comfortable, but not all that big, with a toilet upstairs but the shower for those two downstairs. The pool, outdoor furniture etc are amazing, as are the views. They had a very helpful tour/taxi organiser who they put us in touch with, who sorted out wine tastings, taxis and boat trips for us, all of very good quality and not overly expensive for what you got. Thank you.

Very friendly personal welcome by Peppe. Good introduction to the circumstances. The prompt responses were made to requests. Barbecue and towel change done immediately. Hot tub is in the bedroom. Outdoor pool around the house, which we did not use due to the weather conditions. Parking space for the car in the yard with electric. Gate. We saw Angela briefly to welcome you. The further contact was via Peppe, who also lived there. The only negative was that Peppe only spoke Italian and that there was no wardrobe in our bedroom. However, we were able to use the closet in the second bedroom. We would recommend the place without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the wild garden with fruits and vegetables to eat. It was close to the sea, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was really comfortable and the best thing were the cats, especially Lady and Mitu. They stole our heart! Aci Castello is easily reachable with 20 min walk.

The place was really very nice. I traveled with a friend and we had the entire garden area, pool, and kitchen just to ourselves for 7 days. We rented a car and were also able to park it in the yard. The place Monterosso is not very touristy, which we liked very much to get an insight into the life of the locals. Regarding the room, I can only say that it was very tidy and everything necessary was available. The only thing to know is that the bed is a bit hard. Otherwise everything was really great. We had a great rest and enjoyed the stay.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !

A real Taormina Gem ! I was able to walk everywhere and get the beautiful views without compromising privacy and confort , super clean and peaceful place . Will definitely come back ☺️
