Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Porters Lake

This was our third time staying at this awesome place. The place is always clean and well stocked with the things we need. The updating and improvements to the kitchen and the bathroom were well done and a nice surprise!

We have Jericas place on definitely coming again! The view was like being on the edge of a glacier in the middle of Mars, absolutely stunning. The house was large and had all we needed for cooking and cleaning. Nice hot running showers, comfortable bedding and a stocked coffee station. This place is a must ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great place with plenty of space, character and charm. All the amenities were at hand and everything was well thought out. Definitely a super location for larger groups.

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Zack and Yifei are great hosts! We chose their location for proximity to family we were visiting nearby. It’s definitely convenient if visiting the Bedford area. They have excellent taste and we appreciated the thoughtful decor touches and the clean, comfortable space. It’s a great space if you’re travelling with kids and our toddler loved his “special bed.” They were highly responsive, acting immediately to salt the driveway when we arrived and it was slippery from the night before. We only had a few issues, namely a bad wifi connection and the inability to access data from our phones inside due to poor LTE connection in the area. Zack was responsive in offering to help and, although we didn’t get it sorted, we appreciated their responsiveness regardless. The only other issue was that we did hear a fair amount of noise from upstairs on our first evening, but it didn’t appear to be an issue at any other time.

A great base for our weekend visiting friends and family in Bedford, Halifax, and Dartmouth. Very spacious accommodation with a full kitchen and a great deck. Loved all the fall colours and the quiet surroundings. Easy access to the airport for our very early flight. Everything was super clean and hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend. We didn't bring any dogs on this trip but I love that the house was dog friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kate was awesome as was Nikki. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the short walk to Tuna Blue. We also went to the Hubbards beach, which was a short drive. We will definitely be back again!! :)

I booked this place after looking so many places and when I told the owner about why I am booking this place they were extremely helpful and provide everything what we needed for stay even the place has its own beauty like my whole family loves it they don’t want to go but we will definitely book this for over next vacation. I really recommend this place to everyone.

The cottage in Hubbards was ideal for our stay. My daughter loved the little playground behind. Everything was clean and it was an extremely relaxing stay. Thank you for your great place and kind discussions whenever we passed each other during the days!

WFP &J.P were amazing. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an extra unexpected. Gustave will be very bored of Maple. Small review THAT IS NOT A REVIEW. The fridge isn't very big so don't do too big a grocery every time. We arrived with too many things and didn't get in. But again, it's no big deal. There's a grocery store nearby. Sounds good. Just don't have to plan too far in advance if you have a big family like mine. The pool is extraordinary!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches . We had a great time with the family!!!

we absolutely loved our stay in the cottages! We were able to use a lot of their amenities, Kayaks, boat, pool.. it was so much fun and we made some great memories as a family! Thank you to Katelyn for the great cottage and customer service, we hope to come back again :)

My sister and I treated each other to a holiday sleepover in the woods and it was perfect. The sauna was the best part, but everything was lovely. Will absolutely come back.

The perfect place to relax with our dogs for the night just outside Truro. Very cozy and a cute fire pit area.

Had a great stay-cation in the Boat House! The house is small but plenty spacious, a big comfortable bed, kitchen with fridge, hot plate, toaster oven, and all the little appliances you might need. The neighbourhood is quiet and the Boat House feels very private and is tucked out of the way on the property. The panoramic view was amazing, we loved stargazing from the pull-out couch in the evenings. Hoping to come for another visit in warmer weather!

Beautiful home with lake views from almost every room. Dave’s place was a great spot to unwind for the weekend! The fireplace was so cozy during the chilly and windy weekend and the fenced in backyard made it so convenient to bring the pup along. Would definitely recommend this spot to others!

My dogs and I loved staying at Erin's, we felt right at home. I love staying at Airbnb's when it is obvious that the host cares about the guests happiness and Erin obviously cares! My friends and I stayed at Erin’s place for 4 days while visiting Nova Scotia and it was a very calm and peaceful stay just outside of Halifax with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend going here if you want a nice peaceful stay near Halifax!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The host was extremely helpful and kind. We come out to nova scotia once a year and always love our time here. The host was so kind to let us charge our car on their property with our janky 100ft extention cord. The host was so kind when we met them in person one morning.
