Perfect base to spend time with family. Walkable to both Elwood and St Kilda and the bay across the road for walks. Great place to relax and Winnie was adorable.

Andy was an excellent host! He went above and beyond so my family had a special and memorable Christmas holiday in his home. Andy’s home is ideally situated- right on the 1 tram and the beach promenade, plus Victoria Avenue shopping. His charming home is exactly as pictured and Andy makes you feel right at home. We hope to book again.

The apartment was as good as it looked in the pictures. Well appointed and really comfortable. Great location between the beach and shops.

Felt like a home away from home! A peaceful and warm home in a wonderful location - easy walk to parks, sth Melb markets and the beach and just a quick tram ride to the city. Emma’s small touches - organic chocolate and the amenities she supplied for my dog were just so lovely! A perfect base while visiting Melbourne. Highly recommend.

Ideal location that was close to transit and also the beach. The noise from the trams was not an issue at all, as some reviews stated. There was some street noise on the weekend at night, which was to be expected. The apartment was clean and the hosts were so helpful and quick to respond. They went out of their way to allow for a later checkout, which was greatly appreciated.

I have stayed at Thackeray Cottage a few times. It's a wonderful place... lots of charm... close to local villages... the beach... the CBD. And Alyce is a charming host that makes you feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Its location close to the beach was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Communication with the host was smooth, making the whole experience hassle-free. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay for 10 days. Comfortable, everything provided, perfect sea view and so close to shops, beach and other amenities. Literally across the road from the beach, just around the corner to shops, an array of cafes and restaurants, plus a perfect sea view and the city lights at night. With everything so wonderful, I barely noticed the stairs to get to the top floor - they were wide and non-slip even in the rain. The unit is open, sunny, and inviting and we will definitely be returning. A great host, a sublime place to stay, and relaxation is guaranteed. I wholeheartedly recommend both Dianne as host and the unit as a place to stay - either long or short.

A recently refurbished property. Spacious enough for two. Excellent location for the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. There is a major road outside that gets busy early each day. Highly recommended, great value for money.

Simple, clean place with comfortable bed to resy after a long day of travel. Easy access to the area, free parking. Charlie was very responsive. Nice view. Only downside was waiting about 5 minutes to enter the building behind another resident at 11pm.

This home is perfectly located to everything Port Melbourne has to offer, and in a very quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. I will definitely be returning!

Victoria’s place was perfect for our stay in Melbourne! It is located near tons of food and shopping and the check in process was very easy! The views are insane and we loved the hot air balloons you could see in the morning! Victoria was very communicative and accommodating. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back sometime!

Perfect stay in St Kilda. Simon and Renee were great hosts. Would highly recommend if you're planning a trip to Melbourne. Especially loved how welcoming they made it if you have a toddler - cot was already set up and had mini table and chairs plus a bunch of games. Really great touches that made Mum and Dad's life a little easier at times - thank you!

Perfect location and spacious place for a family with young kids! The house had so many toys (and trampoline!) we could use and the kids were so happy! It’s very comfy with new large sofa, kitchen with all you need, 2 bathrooms and big bath tub. It could use some refurbishment but for us that was no problem at all!

What a fabulous spot to enjoy what Melbourne has to offer. The views are truly spectacular and the apartment is well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Dorothy is a star! She made us feel like family, after 2 1/2 months travelling, it was a lovely feeling again. You can rely on Dorothy for an interesting conversation and excitement for your adventures! She waited up for our later check in and even helped us finish our laundry so that we could get out and explore. Beautiful home and sea views, around the corner from tram routes and walkable highstreets & beach :)

We had a wonderful stay in this fabulous house. So close to the beach in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood. The house is stunning, beautifully designed and with everything you need. Martin and Alison were very friendly and responsive hosts. Elwood is wonderful.

Petite Maison met the description of a special place. For us it was a perfect spot, right on the beach and close to the village where there are a great selection of coffee shops, restaurants and bars and groceries. We found the place super comfy and although described as petite it does not feel small! The kitchen had everything we needed so it was easy to prepare meals as we didn’t want to eat out all the time. Kate is a great host, gave clear details and instructions and is quick to respond to any questions. She was super kind to push check out back which was amazing as the place we were moving on to wasn’t ready and so we didn’t have to lug bags around in 32 degree heat !! It’s a no brainer as to where we’ll stay if we return to Melbourne!! 😊

Lovely place, close to Elwood and Acland st shops and Elwood beach. Very clean and easy to be in. The internet wasn’t working when we got there as there was a general outage in the area. Tanja was very responsive and, despite it not being in any way her fault, offered us a discount. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Andrea’s. She was very responsive and proactive and a very good communicator. Very organised and the apartment was very nice and equipped very well. Excellent location and we would be very happy to stay at this apartment in the future - thanks !

Samantha is a lovely host and communication was great. She was flexible to our needs and very generous as she kindly accommodated a couple of extra requests relating to our stay. Great location and very spacious living area that opens out to the front balcony overlooking St Kilda beach. Thanks for our stay!

5 stars, great location. everything in St Kilda was easy walkable distance.. Child friendly stay which helped greatly! great setup in the kitchen to make what everything we needed to do. Would stay again if we went back to Melbourne. Thanks Adam & Claudia
