Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Port Orford

Charity's place was great for our family! Perfect for tweens and teens! We had a blast playing in the game room and listening to music on the record player, which was amazing when stormy weather cancelled any plans we had away from the house. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was immaculate. It felt very secluded and private. Plenty of seating in the living areas. Tons of beds! Plenty of towels. Our teens loved the giant swing. The house was within walking distance of town. Charity was very quick to respond to our questions. The biggest downfall was not the house, but the weather. We would have loved to have gotten to enjoy the big deck, the swing, and the little creek. Overall it was a very nice place and we would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing, comfortable, conveniently located and just a nice vibe in the whole house. 5/5 stars. Now add in the hot tub and carport parking? This place breaks my scale at 7/5 stars. Coming back for sure

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house. We were here 6 years ago and they have made some improvements ( new flooring) an already great house. It’s in a nice area to have a get together. Ssshhh. Don’t tell anyone! Lol.

Can’t say enough about the gorgeous and lush grounds on the property. It was very peaceful, felt safe and secluded. We and our dogs enjoyed the hike to the creek, though it’s a bit steep/slippery for anyone with mobility issues. The main house was perfect and cozy. We loved the living room fireplace and it cranks out the heat. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to make meals at home. Lots of nice touches with coffee grinder, soda stream, and pizza stone. The washer/dryer is a great bonus too. The yurt and sauna are a short walk from the house, all bonus spaces are spread out from main house. The sauna was worth it and we loved the window to the trees. The hot tub is on the main house so even with stormy weather we still enjoyed it. Hosts are so responsive and nice. The office/gym, was in a separate building yet close to the house. Like most country living, there were some ants in the bathroom and bedrooms. None in kitchen thankfully and not a big deal.

This was a quaint escape into the trees! We loved the bath tub and the living room. It was cozy and easy to access beautiful trails. The bath tub fills slowly and runs out of hot water if 2 people take a bath back to back, but the water is from a well under the home and there was signage. We also loved the book of things to do and recommendations. Awesome place, worth the money! Responsive hosts. Also, the heat really worked for those cold rainy nights. Will be back again!

Brook was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She kindly waited for our arrival and personally guided us through the property, explaining everything in detail—from how to operate the heater, where to find the extra table, to how to use the bath. Her thorough explanations made everything so easy to understand.​ What truly touched us was when she took the time to walk with us along the scenic path, leading to a romantic table and chairs at the tip of the cape. That evening, she also recommended a fantastic restaurant that was not only delicious and affordable but also had a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.​ Inside the room, we found two packets of hot chocolate for us, which warmed our hearts. The bed was incredibly comfortable—better than any five-star hotels we've stayed in. The furniture was user-friendly and beautifully designed, and the view was simply breathtaking. Considering all of this, the value was exceptional.​

Great place to stay in Gold Beach. Highly recommended. Home was clean and well furnished with everything you need. Right across the street from the beach and within minutes of restaurants and sites in town. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved everything about this stay. It was perfect for our family of five, but would be great for small groups as well. Very clean, excellent space. I would stay again!!
