Vacation rentals in Port Byron

We had unexpected travel arrangements that we needed to make for a funeral the week of Thanksgiving for our large family. Jeanne was so helpful with our last minute stay accommodations. She knew we were traveling with a toddler and had multiple pack and plays for her one in basement and one upstairs because I had mentioned I didn’t know which space she would sleep in. She had toys available for her to play with and a high chair setup in the kitchen. Left breakfast for our large crew and even a bottle of wine. She thought of everything. The house was equipped with everything you could need in the gourmet kitchen including sippy cups, toddler plates and silverware. She ensured we had more than enough towels and left a stocked closet filled with toiletries. 2 coffee bars stocked with everything we could need including teas and hot chocolate. Since we were arriving late she had the porch light on for us. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Jeanne for everything!!!

The house is amazing! We enjoyed the property and had a nice stay. We had an issue with the hot water the second night of the stay, but our host had a plumber out the next day to take care of the issue and we were good to go the rest of the stay. The house is beautiful and was very clean and comfortable for our large group.

We wanted a place with a view and boy did we get it, the river right outside your back door was amazing. It felt like home as soon as we walked in, it was her birthday and they left brownies and a happy birthday for her. All in all we went to relax and that's exactly what we did!!!!

We had a very relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. The weather was warm enough so we could enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The cabin is so comfortable and private, we felt like we had our own oasis for the weekend. We took a long walk at the wildlife preserve and saw pelicans, eagles, sand hill cranes, ducks and geese. Deer were also frequent visitors just on the other side of the railroad tracks, along with several varieties of birds and an occasional racoon. If you like trains, this is the place to experience them! We hope to visit again.

What a spot! Over the top with amenities and perks. Perfect place to stop on a family trip. Things to do are endless, including board games, projector, fire pit, porch swing, grill, fooseball table, darts, fully stocked kitchen and breakfast area, smart tvs and plenty more. Local restaurants are great. The neighborhood is safe and full of very friendly people. Edwin is super accommodating and makes you feel right at home. This place is a hidden GEM.

Convenient location for stay purposes. House was perfect size for needs and was easy for an out of stater to find. Check in and out was easy and convenient as well. The hosts, Cody and Shannon, were both very accommodating and friendly. Will probably try to rent from this host again in the future!

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It is short walk/drive from downtown LeClaire. It has beautiful views of the river both inside and outside. It is cozy and warm and feels like a home away from home. It also has lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather. One of our favorite places to go.

This place had the most amazing river view! We saw lots of bird activity and drove a little south to see tons of eagles. The area is so peaceful and it’s close to little towns which was fun. The house was clean and cozy as well. We would love to come back and visit.
