We had a wonderful stay in Beaumont! Although we arrived late and hadn't had time to pick up breakfast supplies, our host had thoughtfully stocked a variety of items to tide us over—such a kind and welcome surprise. Every detail was considered, and all our needs were anticipated and met. The house was incredibly comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet, charming, and perfectly situated. We loved the outdoor space and appreciated the cold AC. We would absolutely stay here again when our travels bring us back to Beaumont! Thanks Lisa and Kyle.

Sunshine Cottage was such a pleasure to stay at! It was very roomy, comfortable beds, beautiful sun room that overlooks the water, and the thoughtfulness of a goodie basket and toys to keep little kids entertained was just the icing on the cake!! I 100% recommend any of John and Alese’s places to stay at. We will continue to stay with Lakeside Lodging!

Relax & Unwind in a Serene Retreat Near the Beach

Tonya’s place is perfect for those looking to fish. Which was exact what we came to Port Arthur to do. My suggestion is to do a pick up order at Walmart before you get to the house, besides the gas station there isn’t much on that side of town. There is a great boat ramp right down the road, has three piers to fish off or launch a boat if you have one. We had to check out early due to our dog cutting his paw back home. Tonya was quick to respond with check out information. My kids loved the fact that the house was on stilts and we even walked over to the park which was about a block away. Quiet location with lots of outdoorsy things to do- sea rim state park, the battle ground, watching the boats, and fishing.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful home and location! We had a wonderful time. There was not one thing we had to go buy because they really thought of everything you may need. Even things I never would think about needing. Fishing and crabbing is great! The pier and dock are amazing! The hosts are very responsive if you need anything. We will definitely be back!

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

My family had a wonderful vacation! Everyone said this was their favorite beach trip. The layout of the house was perfect, we loved the huge island in the kitchen for preparing meals and eating, the view from the porch was my favorite part and the house was very clean. Most of the time, we had our own private beach! It was so relaxing.

Our stay at this beachfront home was truly wonderful. The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the beach, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the spacious deck, which provided the perfect setting to watch dolphins and listen to the soothing sound of the waves. We opted to leave a little early, but this spot is great. We've stayed on this road before, and enjoy the boat ramp right in the neighborhood. Although, it is under construction and repair, it is still accessible. William & Susan are great hosts. They offer great suggestions for the area, including fishing holes. You have easy Bolivar Beach access, just make sure you have the beach pass. The place is pristine. They offer ample supplies for the stay, from toiletries, to bedding. It is perfect for a couple, and two kids. They even let us park the boat trailer on their property. They are open to suggestions, and great with issues shall amy arise. I'd definitely recommend giving their properties a stay. You won’t regret it!
