Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Port Alberni

The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Place is amazing and Ingrid is great! Would definitely stay there again!

Alexandra's Airbnb in Nanaimo, BC was just great--so much so that with regard to the star ratings I wish I could have given greater than five! In fact, the location gives life to the slogan Beautiful BC, situated on the coast as it is with full view of the islands and inlets which give coastal British Columbia its unique flavor. We enjoyed the hot tub, and beach below, views of the ferries and bird life and tides, the weather coming in and so much more. The binoculars on the table upstairs got a lot of use, and were one of the many neat features of this lovely house. Plus, the easy access to town was perfect for us! Thank you, Alexandra, for a lovely time, and we hope to be return guests if you'll have us in the not too distant future!

The place was very relaxing, warm, and inviting. Plenty of room. Quite a few appliances to be able to host a family. Loved the fact that they had a drip coffee maker or a Keurig. Easy to find and access. I was coming in late so they ensured lights were on.

Our family loved this place. it was so private, surrounded by forest, on a quiet country road. It's clean, cosy, and has everything you need. We'll be back, for sure. Thanks!

I could not recommend this gem of an Airbnb more! From the friendly and responsive nature of our host, to the pristine and secluded area, to the outstanding amenities, Alexandra’s beautiful, idyllic home has absolutely everything. We especially loved the sauna, dart board, and magnificent and fully stocked kitchen, replete with a wood-burning fire place. I will definitely be back for another visit, as it is so easy to get to from Vancouver. Thank you, Alexandra!

An older home with lots of character...it exceeded our expectations! Well maintained and very spacious. Lots of room for guests to mingle or to find a quiet spot of their own. Our group of 7 women appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfy beds and the many bathrooms. And it was good fun having "our own" indoor, heated pool and hot tub. Located in the middle of the island, the property provided a great home base from which to explore Gabriola. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Janie's place to friends and family, and I hope to return someday soon.

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

My stay at Bill's property was nothing short of amazing. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could have asked for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, communication was seamless, Bill was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, making every morning and evening feel special. This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful place, amazing hot tub, well stocked with pretty much everything you need. Nice location close to the lake, store, etc. Super comfy beds and linens. Would love to go back in summer when the pool is in operation. Jamie was great with communicating the necessary information and they were proactive with making our stay even more enjoyable.

My husband and I enjoyed our quiet, peaceful stay at Heidi‘s unit. Loved the location as it was on the farthest side of the complex. Gave us loads of quiet and time to reconnect. Highly recommend Heidi‘s place for anyone looking for a quiet stay. We also did a one night when the sunshine that we could walk on the beach and that was great too.

We had a great time at this air bnb. We could really tell that there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the place, in the furnishings, amenities, and - something people often overlook - safety! There was a sign from the city stating that it was a legal suite and there were flashlights by the light switches in case of an emergency. I also really appreciated that it was pet friendly and very clean. Thanks!

We had a very lovely two night stay at Jane’s cabin in the woods! We made good use of the bathhouse as the tub is a real highlight. Easy to transit into Sechelt and Gibsons with lots to do :) Would definitely return!

Great host, accommodating and always there to help out. Kitchen is fully equipped, game room was so nice, and there's karaoke. Rooms are clean and washrooms are big too. The sauna is also a must try. We're a group of 10 and everybody loved the place. Will definitely come back again. Thanks!

Their dog, Iyla (sp?), is a very friendly Collie which got along with my dog wonderfully. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, and rural without being removed from amenities. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Slightly less kitchen counter than desirable for more than one person, but doable for a small dinner. Very happy with the space and amenities, would stay again!

A repeat visit. I love that peaceful, beautiful property. My dog totally enjoyed trying to catch the waves and was fascinated by the movement of the water. Once again, even though I stayed for five nights I didn’t want to leave.
