Jan was a great hostess. She responded quickly to questions. The beds were very very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals. The front porch was perfect for watching the sunrise.

Our girls weekend was perfect in this super clean and cozy guesthouse thats perfectly located to explore all the hot spots of downtown Paducah. Very quiet and private, within walking distance to the riverfront and the best restaurants/cocktail bars. Plenty of space for everyone to relax, featuring 2 living areas. All the beds were very comfortable with quality linens, and plenty of towels for everyone. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. George and Suzanne were great hosts and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Paducah!

very nice place. I thought it was exactly as advertised. Host is very responsive and helpful. There are lots of bars/restaurants/coffee shops nearby that are walkable. Would come back in the future. Only thing that would make it nicer is if there was a TV in the bedroom.

This cute place fit our needs perfectly as we traveled through Paducah. Since it is at the end of a road, it was so peaceful with no traffic going by. It is well-stocked and so efficiently organized for the space. It was very comfortable and has a great shower head in the bathroom. Appreciated the bench near the door that had storage bins underneath, too. Last time we were through this town, we stayed in a hotel. Wow! What a difference a "home" makes!

We had a great holiday at Claire's home. Our family was able to relax. We enjoyed watching the water in the pond and saw so many stars at night. The dogs loved the big open fields and chasing small animals. It did rain most of the time we were there so we were not able to go hiking. Instead, we enjoyed our time at the house watching TV, playing games, and cooking big dinners. We brought most of our food with us and could go into town to get some staples. Overall a great time was had by all.

I felt right at home as soon as I walked in!!! The space!!! The cleanliness!!!! The freshness!!! The personalized welcome sign!!!! I was able to relax and before and after the event!!! DEFINETLY would recommend!!

Lovely place, extremely comfortable beds, clean space, great amenities with little extra touches like a moisturizing face mask, cotton swabs, to-go coffee cups and some candy for our little one. Such a lovely, cozy and comfortable stay in a quiet part of town. We also love their apartment in downtown and aren’t surprised that this location offers the same, warm experience. We will be back to the Dim Light!

This recently renovated home was very well appointed and had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay.

We loved this place! Finding a place with a kitchen where we could cook dinner was important - this place has everything you need. We sat on the gorgeous back porch and looked at the stars - really incredible views. We spent each day hiking in the Shawnee National Forest - plenty of day hikes within 30-60 minutes from this place. 2 nice sized bedrooms and a big bathroom with a great water pressure in the shower! (it's the small things...) Plenty of homey touches throughout. I highly recommend. Thanks Adam!

If you think the price isn’t worth it.. let me give you a peace of mind. This beautiful home away from home, Kentucky but add some urban charm. THIS air bnb is top notch. A lot of air bnbs near this area don’t compare to this home. In the simplicity there is a lot going on. You won’t be over stimulated or under stimulated. There is so much to do, and you have the option to do nothing and still feel like every penny you spent is worth it. The privacy is immaculate, the insulation in the walls make you feel like the world around you doesn’t exist. My only complaint is that I can’t live in that home. The host may I add, is very responsive. The vents and base boards are clean, walls, every inch in that home is spotless. The bed may I add is the ribbon on top of everything. 1,000/10 I don’t want to spoil the surprises that air bnb holds, take my word. W O R T H EVERY penny!!!!!

Great location and beautiful place to stay. We loved the numerous apps on the television and the super close proximity to downtown. The owners had a beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment . Beautiful outdoor area as well to enjoy nature or your favorite show.

Loved the area the condo was in. Downton and its shops were at a walking distance. I was also close to work & other shops. Overall the place was great and Mason was an easy host to get in touch with.

This is my second time staying at The Dim Light and it was just as good as the last time! The hosts are communicative and very thorough in providing check-in details. The space is clean and unique with a nice homey vibe to it. If I ever end up in Paducah again on an overnight trip, you better believe the first place I'm checking for availability is The Dim Light. My ONLY complaint was that the disco ball fell from where it was hung on the ceiling...which not only was a little startling when it happened, but it also narrowly missed one of my personal possessions sitting below it. All good though, no harm - no foul. Just something for the hosts to consider when it comes to decorations! 10/10 would stay again!

Beautiful condo in a perfect location in this wonderful and special small town. Beautifully decorated, extremely plush and plentiful towels. We particularly appreciated the extra touches including snacks and beverages. The host was extremely responsive and instructions were clear and complete. We loved this place.

Great place to stay - spotlessly clean, fun furnishings, and easy to find and get into. Quiet and safe neighborhood, but only short walk to downtown and restaurants. We were here specifically for the eclipse but would definitely consider coming back and would stay here again.
