Jason's place is amazing! Beautiful views from the back patio and lots of space for the 3 of us to relax. The place is kept very tidy and has all the basics you would need in the kitchen. The location is perfect, with a quick drive to/from the KOA airport. Jason is a very friendly and responsive host, getting back to any messages very promptly.

Jing was helpful from the easy check-in to check out. The location is perfect with attractions, stores & restaurants nearby.

Staying in this beautiful home was definitely a highlight of our vacation on the Big Island. Beautiful views, spacious interior, best equipped kitchen of any Airbnb we’ve been to, my own private luxurious bath tub, and a really well put-together guest manual about activities/restaurants/everything else in Waimea - this is the perfect Airbnb and well worth the price!

We arrived at Rhonda’s on Christmas Eve and she was there to greet us and show us around the space - she had a little tree with lights set up and a lovely wreathe on the door. There was also delicious banana bread and her homegrown lilikoi waiting for us inside. The space is so comfortable and well decorated- we felt immediately at home. Very convenient to walk to a few restaurants as well. Even though the house isn’t on a main street at all, if you keep the windows open (and why wouldn’t you!) you may experience a good bit of noise in the early morning (roosters, garbage truck, general people sounds). We had a lovely time enjoying breakfast on the porch and would happily stay at the Gratitude BnB again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was quiet, exceptionally clean, and had a hotel-quality bed and linens. The bathroom was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and private. Jacqueline was a fantastic host—kind, welcoming, and always with a beautiful smile. The perfect place for a restful and comfortable stay!

Our stay was wonderful. The views were incredible and we felt right at home. They had all the extra you might need visiting Maui and if we could have we would have stayed another week. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved staying at Bailey’s place in Puako. It was so tranquil and gorgeous with the sound of the ocean at night and the amazing birds in the morning. The unit was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We were 3 people - our teenage son slept on the pull out couch in the living room - you do have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. This was fine for us. I loved the screen porch!! Bailey left so much info that helped us and was responsive to any request. We would happily come back here again.

We stay in Waimea frequently to visit friends and family, and this was our first time at Vivianne’s house—and it did not disappoint! The space is large and cozy, and the views are fantastic!!! We’ll be returning!

Our stay at Alii Kai was perfect for our family. The location was wonderful and the condo layout worked well so we were not on top of each other. The lanai at all times of the day and evening was a special place to watch the ocean waves, the odd group of whales swimming by and the stars at night. Communication was excellent. Hope to get back soon.

We had a wonderful stay and are so thankful for the hospitality shown to us! The B&B is in the middle of forest trees, very tranquil, and we loved the sounds of all the birds and frogs and even the rooster and cow out back! Very comfortable beds, spacious room with extra amenities that weren’t listed like a microwave and mini fridge, and our suite had a lovely private lanai as well. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely home! I was expecting just a room in a house like the description but the space has its own entryway, bathroom, and dining area so it feels like a separate studio apartment. It was beautiful and clean. Would recommend to those wanting to stay close to Volcano National Park!

We enjoyed our short stay in Hilo. It was the perfect space to come “home” to after a day of exploring. We loved the esthetic, the breakfast options and especially the frog noises at night. Thank you for a great stay!

For our first night on island we stayed at Maxi and Woody’s peaceful abode in Kihei before heading up country. They were both very welcoming orienting us to their home and space. The breakfast out on the lanai was so nourishing and beautiful to awaken too! We will be back!

The location near the airport was ideal for our late arrival. Connie was very proactive in making sure our stay would be comfortable. The beds and linens were cozy. We especially appreciated the yummy breakfast she made us before we had to leave. 10/10, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Howard's place. The room with the deck was lovely. There was an ocean view and it was very quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was an added bonus. There were other people staying in the other 3 rooms but we never saw them. The location near the Hana Rd makes it easy to get on that drive early in the morning. Also it's only 20 minutes from the airport. I would highly recommend Howard's place.

Steve and Su keep an immaculate yard with flowers and fruits galore and a great swimming pool and hot tub. You'll likely have some of their delicious fresh papaya at the continental breakfast. The room is spacious, ac is great, and bed comfortable. You are a couple minute walk to a surfing beach and an easy 5-10 minute drive to Hilo's downtown and famous sites. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

I have been profoundly moved by Akiko, her land and home, and her community in beautiful Wailea. Akiko herself is precious beyond measure, a true treasure that I’m grateful to have met in this lifetime. Come ready to receive remarkable warmth, joy, connection, loving presence, solitude, peace, and deep inspiration. Not only from Akiko, but from all of the wonderful locals and guests who come through. The Banana Cottage itself is lovely, surrounded by trees, a stunning refuge from which to work and sleep, and take peaceful walks down Old Mamalahoa Highway, through the rainforest and to the sea. And the land is so alive, has been so lovingly tended to — coqui frogs, birds, geckos, kitties, chickens all around, the orchard, the sun, the rain, and, and, and. I leave with a heart brimming full of wonder, hope, and light. If I would be so lucky to return to the Big Island one day, without question, Akiko’s place is where I will go, not just as a place to stay, but as my reason to return.

Riaan, Lisa, and the other family members—and the dogs—were amazing! They were all so friendly and full of positive energy. Super kind and helpful. The room was huge with a big balcony, and I loved spending time there. The bed was super comfy, and the house was clean. The garden was huge and so lively. And the outdoor shower was definitely a highlight! 🫶🏻 I definitely recommend it!
