Cottage vacation rentals in Polperro

We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

Absolutely loved our peaceful stay. Tracey and Mark were very attentive and friendly, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of our highlights was the Italian themed delicious dinner cooked for us! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a mini spa break to switch off.

We had a wonderful stay at Shaun’s cottage in Saint Newlyn East. The space was exactly as described — clean, cosy, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay as a small family. It was perfect for me, my wife, and our 5-month-old son. The location is peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the coast and nearby towns, yet still close enough to amenities when needed. Shaun was a responsive and helpful host, offering clear instructions and making us feel welcome from the start. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, charming base in Cornwall!

Myself and 2 friends came to stay at Nicola’s Airbnb for 3 nights. We had an absolutely fantastic time, in the most beautiful airbnb I have ever seen😍 The views are out of this world, the property is spacious, so cosy, and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The property is secluded, however in driving distance from some wonderful places. We watched the sunset in Boscastle, visited Tintagel Cove, went to Polzeath, then spent a whole day in Newquay and Fistral beach. Today on our way home to Somerset we spent the day in Bude which was stunning, and loved the Cafe with live music. The hot tub takes a long time to heat up, approx 3 hours the first night, with constant filling with logs & stirring, 2 hours the 2nd night & then we returned back to the airbnb too late to begin heating it last night. Also the description states no towels available however there were towels & a cosy dressing gown available ☺️ Thankyou Nicola, I will be recommending this place to friends! ?

We had a lovely few days away in Nancy’s House and couldn’t fault it at all. There is everything you need in order to feel right at home as soon as you arrive. We really appreciated the wonderful home made cream tea that greeted us after many hours of travelling! We cooked in the house each night so can’t comment on local pubs etc as the whole purpose of our stay was for peace and quiet. It really is a peaceful haven, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with gorgeous views. We walked up on the hills and down to the hidden beach, both were beautiful. The fact that the whole farm, cottage included, is sustainable, and provides for itself, is truly impressive and a testament to the work that Lisa, Piers and team have put into creating it. Take some time to walk up to the willow labyrinth and appreciate the time and work that’s been invested in it - we’d love to see how it grows over the years! All in all a perfect few days away.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Loved our time away. The accommodation was beautiful. Had everything that we needed and it was immaculately clean and tidy. We didn’t get to use the hot tub due to the weather, but not sure if we would have as the only negative we had was although it was in a private garden, it was overlooked by the owner’s garden. Could not fault anything else. Well worth the stay.

Amazing stay here. Everything was exactly what we needed. The location was perfect out in the country but 5-10 minute drive from nearest towns and pub. The hosts were so helpful and brilliant with communication. We took our little dog and was so easy to let her out and roam round the open space as so far off the road. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little cottage and perfect for our needs. Kitchen has everything you need, the place was clean and well looked after. Catherine, our host, gave excellent instructions to find it as it is a little bit tucked away but we found it no problem.

Had a great stay, lovely area, accommodation was perfect for us, would consider it again when visiting our favourite part of the world. Plus perfect host.

Came down for a family wedding nearby and location was perfect for us. The farmhouse was cozy, welcoming and spacious. The beds were comfy, so much so we all overslept on checkout morning. Facilities, especially in the kitchen were ideal for us. We would love to come again, next time for longer so we can explore the local area more thoroughly and probably with the dog who missed out this time. Thanks for having us to stay.

Had such a wonderful time at the cottage. Very clear instructions on how to get to and into the property, it was spotless and Karen was always on hand via messaging to give any answers to any questions we had quickly and prompted. It's a beautiful property with so much character and comfortable beds in a stunning location. Cannot fault our experience and for the accommodation it was incredible value. A beautiful gem in a fabulous serene location near so many brilliant places in Cornwall. Perfectly furnished and thoughtful set up. Super helpful and friendly host - down to getting the bbq ready for us and being able to hose down wetsuits on site plus lots of great local recommendations - plus very quick responses and let us know we could check in early. Could not recommend enough (except to ensure there’s some availability next summer so we can return!). Exactly what we needed and such a stunning private garden too - ideal if you are bringing a furry friend. Many thanks and hope to be back soon

We had the nicest time! The house is sweet and has everything you need, Sarah was so friendly and helpful, Reggie the dog is our new best friend. Just a lovely spot, fab pub round the corner, a nice walk down to the village (got a lift back up!). The rooks were a bit noisy but can't be mad at nature? 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent cottage in a perfect location. Jayce and Hannah were great hosts, would definitely recommend to anyone planning at trip to St Ives. I will be back 😊

Trevor & Sarah made us feel very welcome, and we're fantastic hosts. beautiful location, surroundings and accommodation. watching the birds on the garden feeders just outside in the garden with a nice glass of wine was so relaxing. completely recommend a stay here.

A lovely little gem of a cottage. Make sure you’re fit enough to walk up and down the hill but it’s worth the effort. Everything you could need and the hot tub was especially welcome after walking the coast path. A comfortable and cosy hideaway in a gorgeous village.

Such a calm place you have, the space you have is ample. Everything is provided so you don’t have to worry about anything. The grounds and gardens are stunning. I didn’t shut any blinds and left the door to the garden open through the night. Being woken by the birds singing at 5.30 felt nothing short of a blessing. Even heard the Cuckoo tapping away. I went down each morning and evening and had a chat with the chickens who always had something to say. Loved it, didn’t want to leave.

Had a wonderful stay. Nicola is a wonderful, warm and friendly host and was incredibly thourghful and helpful. The cottage is just stunning - in terms of facilities, location and design. Felt as home as soon as walked through the door. Nicola really has thought of everything you could need. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

This was our 4th stay at the wonderful Gylly Cottage and we loved it as much as ever. Such a cosy and beautiful space, set in the heart of Mousehole. Adrian was so helpful in his communications as always and even left some gifts for us and our toddler which made us feel so welcomed and special. The cottage has everything you could need to feel right at home - a wonderful modern kitchen and bathroom, super comfy bed and lovely lounge area. The property is always spotlessly clean and has great heating for those colder months. We love Gylly and Mousehole ❤️ Thank you again, Adrian! Xx

I’ve used Air BnB quite a few times now in the UK and have never been let down so far, but I can easily say that River Cottage at Carbis Mill is the best stay I’ve ever had. The cottage is beautiful, clean, with every amenity you could want and feels very indulgent for two people. The outside space is very large and a real bonus. As a host, Adrian struck the balance of being always available but never being overbearing. Just brilliant from a warm and generous welcome to a fond farewell. I really can’t fault anything about it. This morning I was woken by traffic noise and went in my overlooked garden as a police or ambulance siren blared past. I wished I was back at River Cottage.

Highly recommend this property. The host could not do enough for us and we had a lovely stay. Will absolutely be back.

Absolutely amazing time spent at Bumblebee cottage! Felt very cozy and relaxed and was very well stocked with everything we could need for our stay! There were even 2 big blankets in the living room for us to use! Julie & Mark were both lovely and very helpful (and meeting their two staffs made the visit even better! Such sweet and friendly pups!) Thank you again for having us! Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area!
