Vacation rentals with breakfast in Polk County

Susan is a great host, welcoming you into her large ramshackle historic home. I especially love the front and back gardens. Nice white cat. It’s a social, down home, comfortable place in a great location. Another plus is that it’s and close to numerous good places to eat such as: Ingersoll Avenues’ Star Bar, Ted’s Coney Island, and Eatery A, and just 6 blocks from. Drake Diner and the wonderful Varsity Cinema.

It was very welcoming. The porch lanterns were on when I arrived in the evening. That was a nice touch. Lots of snacks. And the bed was really comfortable! Shelli was very accommodating even gave me one of her greeting card so I could use it. I would stay again.

Cherish's home is beautiful! It's a large, older/historic home in a lovely part of town. The bed in my room on the second floor was very comfortable - just what I needed on an overnight pass through town. There was another guest staying in the next room (sharing a wall), but noise was not a issue. The shared bathroom was conveniently on the other side of my room in the same hallway. The shared areas downstairs on the first floor offered spacious room for hanging out and are creatively/artfully decorated. If you love old homes, this is a great one to stay in :). Highly recommend!

The house is just as described, private bedroom, clean, the family is super nice they have the cutest little dog Koby. I stayed with my dog we felt at home. They are super nice. The neighborhood is safe and close to everything walk distance. I would stay again in a blink of an eye!

Lu is a great host, for someone who just got into it, you would think he’s been doing it for years. He was extremely friendly, had an excellent experience with him, great place to stay if your passing through, very clean, and extremely privet for it being a basement living area. Would 10/10 recommend.

Ryan's place was just perfect! My wife and son stayed there for 2 weeks and it was just the place that they needed. So clean, safe and convenient. Also, Ryan was an incredible host. He was a super clear communicator who made the check in process so easy. But the most amazing thing was that when I had an urgent package of some medications arriving that I had sent for my wife, Ryan jumped in the car and drove over ASAP to ensure that we were able to safely get the package, and he delivered it to the door!! He was awesome, would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thanks Ryan!!

Shelli’s place we great! We were just there briefly but immediately felt at home - you can tell the house is well loved! The room was spacious and having the half bath was nice. Also enjoyed the baked goods in the common area and the blueberry wine. Would stay here again passing through town.

Clean and comfortable, Ryan’s place had everything we needed.

We were tired of the motel scene and wanted to try Deb and Marks place. It was very close to our son’s place so they came to visit. Very enjoyable and bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Jeffrey and Cindy`s place is probably the best Airbnb we have stayed at. It is beautiful and comfortable, and they are accommodating hosts. When they learned we use French Vanilla creamer in our coffee, they actually went to the store and purchased some. We highly recommend this location for a restful stayover.

I love the Iowa House! I love staying here in the winter,as there are jacuzzi tubs in each room. The bath alone is worth it,and its always clean.

I absolutely love this place. I don't ever want to stay anywhere else! The breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly.

Great place to stay for a campus visit! Walkable to campus and one of the few places you can stay that close. Very clean and quiet and the snacks, beverages, and breakfast were excellent! Cannot recommend more.

Needed a place to crash at last minute. Check in was confirmed right away and the place was sparkling clean.
