Condo vacation rentals in Pleasure Island

Our stay was great! The place was beautiful and clean. The beach itself was beautiful and pretty private. This is a great place if you want a relaxing, calm vacation. There aren’t many shopping areas, but there are some great restaurants around, especially Smash City Burgers!! Even with rain some days it was still the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The only downside, which is no fault of the owner, the upstairs neighbors were pretty loud. This could just be from our stay, but it didn’t stop us from having a great week!

Well, the “storm with no name” took over our weather but we still had a great time considering! The place is exactly as described. It’s extra nice being on an end unit btw 😁. We enjoyed the pool the most!

Overall I loved my stay. I was there for about a month and worked remotely while there. The place has everything you could need for a long term stay. There were 3 large storms that came through during my stay including hurricane helene. Kimberly always sent a message before hand to inform me of storms and that she was keeping an eye on them. The internet was knocked out by one and she provided a new internet service the very next day. There is beach access directly across the road. The only problem I had during my stay was getting there the first day my phone directed me to drive on canal st. You don’t need to and at certain times of the month this road will flood to the point of not being able to drive through. As I’m not from a coastal area this was a learning experience, so for reference you may want to avoid that street.

The place was beautiful, very clean, and walkable to the beach. I hate that we came while it was cold, but that was ok. The host even allowed us to check in 2 hours early, which was very convenient and she was very responsive. For those who love hot water, this water was hotter than the water in my house lol! I would stay here again.

I stayed at Kevin and Jordan’s Airbnb for a week in February. The home was so cozy and quiet, perfect for remote work during the day. When I was not working, it was a short walk or drive to the boardwalk and beach. I would definitely recommend this home and Carolina Beach!

Stayed here for 2 nights on a quick 3 day golf trip! The condo is very nice, very updated. With a GREAT view of the Ocean with a nice deck on the back. Over looking the pool and the Ocean. Stuart was very helpful and responsive to questions. Would recommend staying here if it is available and in your budget. The beds were comfortable, the condo was very clean and well kept. It is walking distance to the Oak Island Golf Course, that has a very nice clubhouse and great food.

Great location, between the marina & across the street from the ocean. Within walking distance to restaurants & the boardwalk. I thought the place was a little small for the $425/night cost (after all of the fees were calculated), but it worked out just fine for our short stay. Host accommodated us rescheduling due to the hurricane, so I was definitely happy about that!

I had a lovely stay at Simone's place. Just minutes to Carolina Beach and about 25 minutes to downtown Wilmington. The unit was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. Simone was responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Carolina Beach is always a fantastic place to stay. Island time was quaint, well equipped and within walking distance to a public beach access. You can hear the waves from the ocean and take in the view of the canal across the street while enjoying the breeze on the small deck. Would recommend and will book again.

Cam is an AMAZING HOSTESS! She was extremely accommodating, responsive and very flexible and generous offering early check-in (because property was unoccupied the night before check in) and late check out (because unit wasn’t booked with winter storm moving in). She is the BEST! The unit itself was fantastic ! It is the coolest (BEST) Air B& B I’ve stayed in! Location! Furnishings! Stylish but comfortable! They really thought of EVERYTHING! Throw blankets on couch to snuggle in for movie, ear plugs and sound machines ( if you are sensitive to the music from the landmark bar located below) … frankly didn’t bother me a bit … in fact music was so good I went downstairs for a drink because I was enjoying the wide variety of tunes so much! Genuinely an amazing stay … the master bedroom bedding … I’ve had 4-back surgeries and had THE BEST NIGHTS SLEEP I’ve had since I can’t remember when! I shared this with her and she replied with screen shots of actual bedding from Amazon! FIRST CLASS!

Great place! Wonderful location! Easy walk to beach. Convenient to food and other fun things.

I was in town for the Wilmington marathon and this was the perfect place for a long weekend. Has everything you need and puts you within walking distance of everything downtown Wilmington has to offer. The patio was brilliant for watching the sunset over the river. I can’t recommend a stay here enough, will certainly book again for my next trip to Wilmington!

This is my second time staying at this property and Amy is always super accommodating! I love this spot, it’s my go-to for Carolina Beach trips.

Historic street and area were wonderful. Bedding was very comfortable and the apartment had lots of natural light. Grateful that we were able to bring our dog!

It was a small nice one bedroom apartment. It was clean ad very efficient. Walking up the stairs is a bit of a hike but it was a real good deal for the money I paid. I enjoyed my stay.

Zacks listing was beautiful. Loved being right on the water and hearing the waves. Zack was very very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at his place.

This condo was perfect for a long weekend get away for my husband and I. Sunni was great helping us get checked in even when our flight put us in super late. The location was awesome with a great beach right out front, lots of places to eat close by, and plenty of entertainment and relaxation. This condo was perfect. You will enjoy your stay.

Mike was an amazing host, who communicated well and responded quickly! The place was somehow nicer than the pictures and we are already planning our next trip. Easy walk to the boardwalk and numerous choices of places to eat. Great place!

It was a great state place to stay with kids close to everything even recommended golf cart rental, which was awesome. Had a great time beautiful place.

Clean fresh feeling, well furnished and comfortable. Kaili was extremely responsive. Pool is lovely.

The listing does not do this condo justice. Its more beautiful in person, walk across the parking lot to the beach, so close for things to do, and the hosts were SO HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE.
