The location of Nick’s place was perfect for us. In a quieter area but in walking distance of restaurants. We loved the pool and direct access to the beach!

Loved Louis’s place! Got to wake up to birds chirping and an unbeatable view. Close to some cool beaches, but removed enough to feel secluded and peaceful. Would stay again!

Beautiful location. Coffee on the rooftop terrace in the morning was amazing. The view from up there is breathtaking. Was even able to hear the howler monkeys in the evening. Short drive to the beach, which isn’t a problem because we rent a car and we usually go beach hopping every day. Paul is very quick to respond and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay there again myself.

Most beautiful view of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! Loved the ocean breeze, stunning sunsets and hearing the waves crashing on the shore. The drive way is pretty steep and too narrow for my comfort and so I used the extra space on the street for the week. It worked out fine. Excellent communication with the host. Make sure you visit the private beach down the street. Taco place at the corner before the hill is excellent. Check them out on Tuesdays for a great deal. Monday nights is the craft fair. Worth checking out. Bought beautiful handmade cutting board. Rented my car from Economy across from the taco place. Excellent customer service. Paid $379 for eight days with airport drop off.

We had a fantastic time at Lynzi and Graham’s place. They were super hosts and helped us tremendously. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Their location was beautiful. Lynzi’s attention to detail was super impressive. She even helped me celebrate my birthday with a lovely birthday crown. We would definitely visit again. We definitely recommend arriving in daylight with an SUV (SPORT mode!!) . The drive at night was tricky, but Lynzi and Graham met us and helped us to the house. Beautiful view. Beautiful sunsets.

Far enough from Tamarindo to avoid the crowds. Lots of grocery stores and local restaurants for all price ranges within walking distance. $25 cdn round trip uber to Tamarindo. SIXT car rental recommended for day trips.

The house is spectacular, spacious and super modern. The street is de lastre and if it takes a long time to go out to the main road. The nearby beaches are very rocky, so we were able to quite take advantage of the pool and home amenities.

What a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the city. I had my mum and aunt visiting me in Costa Rica so we rented this beautiful house for 5 nights. It's always such a nice surprise to rent a home that is so well maintained and equipped. We had everything we needed to make meals, to lounge around the pool and to have restful nights sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was amazing and the location can't be beat. The best part for me was that this beautiful home was pet-friendly. The neighbourhood was perfect and safe for walking my god boy Gordie. Another perk is that Gracia Mar Vista, an excellent restaurant with an amazing view, is just a short distance away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend Alejandro's place.

I stayed here with three friends for a girls’ trip, and we loved the outdoor living experience. The pool was amazing and felt very private. Overall, this was a great place to stay—we all agreed that the house made our trip even better. It was one of our favorite parts! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this little beachfront property. The sunsets were unbelievable! We were visited by cats and dogs and birds. We got to watch locals enjoy the beach on the Sunday that we arrived and we were even invited to join the bonfire. It was a great place to end our vacation!

Very beautiful and comfortable home. We enjoyed some great home-cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Perfect place for families and we all enjoyed the pool and local beaches. Host provided great local tips!

Beach front in Playa Potrero! One of four ground level units in condo. The pool and grass lawn are wonderful. The long black sand beach has baseball size and smaller rocks in the surf, but there aren’t any large rock structures in the area the waves crash. At high tide only sand is in the crashing waves. The unit has quality furniture and cookware. The grill is cleaned daily as well as general cleaning and maintenance of the common grounds. Eating out in the area is very pricey. The condo has the kitchen and outdoor gas grill to stop at the Walmart or Costco in Liberia for groceries and use the nearby San Martin Butcher for wonderful family meals!

The home is absolutely gorgeous. Very private. The roads to arrive are rough, but nothing that a car can’t drive through. The washer/dryer was super helpful! Beware of scorpions in and out the property! We ran into two in the laundromat room and downstairs room. Luckily we were able to get them out! The town + activities are 20-40 mins away. There’s cameras are on the outside of the property, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. Overall, a great secluded home and would recommend!

Home has beautiful views from every floor. Comfortable and super clean property. The only thing to mention is that it does have a high incline. Would definitely recommend this home. Host was very responsive and helpful .

Kimberly’s place was spacious and virtually perfect. Loved the design and kitchen had EVERYTHING! Pool great. We even had monkeys outside our kitchen window! Only minor issues were water pressure/temp control in master bath and a loud A/C in master bedroom (I use ear plugs so it didn’t bother me but my partner had some difficulty sleeping the one night with it).

Beautiful views, clean and well stocked with all needed. We spent 6 nights here and enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch, living room and master bedroom. Beach club and restaurant were also great.

David was easy to coordinate with, told us everything we needed to know, and even carried our bags after a long drive and days of adventuring! The condo was spotless and temperature controls were easy. Views out the front windows and from the pools are beautiful. While we weren't there long enough to cook, it looked like the kitchen was very well stocked - thank you for the bag of coffee so we could enjoy a cup by the pool each morning! We appreciated the beach towels and the ability to do our laundry before heading back. Very pleased with our choice of accomodations for our short time in Playa Flamingo!

Extremely beautiful beaches within very easy walking distance - maybe 5 mins max, and our kids loved the pool. Multiple stores nearby to get grocery items, also within walkable distance. We made going to a delicious gelato shop across the street a nigtly occurrence for our family. We saw monkeys, (even some baby monkeys!!) crossing over the rooftops of the condo/trees. This place is a peaceful paradise and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We were provided very helpful information before we checked in with restaurant recommendations, etc. The condo was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had the best time! The view is stunning. So much wildlife. Could watch the monkeys all day. Beautiful landscaping. Lovely place with everything you need. Mark responded instantly when we had any questions. Walk down to the beautiful beach, have a swim or a meal at Father Roosters’s beach cafe. Mark provided tons of info on things to do both near and far. Highly recommend!!

Exactly as described. Everything worked without issue. Beds and linens were clean. Washer/dryer worked great. Shower had good pressure and clean. Plenty of room for all guests. Location was great. No loud neighbors. Would stay again

Laurie's condo is clean and well-equipped - kitchen has lots of pots and pans, everything you need in a kitchen for cooking a meal. The pictures and description is very accurate. The pool is very cute and well maintained and the staff are very helpful. Laundry room is clean and affordable. There is a convenient store right across the street and a nice a pizza restaurant downstairs. We met and made friends with many people during our stay, and we were fortunate enough to go on a few out-trips to surrounding beaches. We had a great 2-month stay.

Exactly as pictured. The unit is clean and quiet. We were comfortable as a couple there, it would be a bit crowded if we had our kids. Las Catalinas is a great community, about an hour and a half away from the airport. Once you’re there, you’re likely staying mostly on the property as there isn’t an easy way to go anywhere else, but it’s a relaxing spot with good options for restaurants and the beach is perfect.
