Great place to stay! Close to cocles, very clean and customer services was excellent

The place is great for relaxing and disconnecting from the city. It's 3 blocks from the beach and the neighborhood is very safe so walking alone is not a problem at all. The house is big with a lot of room. The gungle in the back yard is perfect to listen to frogs and other animals over the night.

We felt welcomed by Limer and Ruby from the moment we arrived. Limer baked a carrot cake for us to start the trip & they brought us fresh eggs & bananas during our stay. The hosts live on a neighboring property so if you need anything then they are extremely responsive but you also maintain an abundance of privacy. The structure itself is a site to behold. The hosts studied Bamboo building methods before they hired an expert to build this beautiful architectural marvel. The details from the tile work to the hardwood show the attention to detail of this very special structure. The property itself is magical. The full time gardener, along with the hosts, have created a lush tropical paradise that is home to howler monkeys, Toucans, Agouti, and many other species of animals and birds. We didn't have a car during our 10 day stay and there was no problem walking to the beach, restaurants, Cahuita National Park, or to downtown Cahuita. I highly recommend this property

Excellent location and lots of privacy, with easy access and departure avoiding the center of Pto Viejo the dams in case of departures.

Excellent place for groups! quite big and beautiful! we all enjoyed super well, the path to the beach was complicated by the rains but well demarcated! Sorry they do not accept pets as they likewise pass by raccoons and dogs of lots near the terrace of the place, but due to said it did not give any problems.

Everything in the villa was just as you can see in the photos, everything very comfortable and quite new. Ideal for a couple alone or with children. A beautiful pool and barbecue area. 👌

What an incredible and wonderful, relaxing caribbean property in Costa Rica! Highly recommended for safety, comfort, and the most incredible beach right in front. Cannot say enough about the stay, the facilities, the food (we elected to utilize the chefs on staff), and the grounds. 100% recommended!

Casa Miel is an outstanding property! We loved the wildlife, pool and beautiful private grounds.

We had a great, relaxing time at Leslie's big house. We really liked the private pool and overall the privacy we had. There was always something to see in the flowery garden. The great beach is only a few steps away, as is a number of restaurants and supermarkets. Overall, Cuhuita is worth a trip.

Great house with a pool, has everything you might need. Beautifully landscaped lot, feels like a tropical forest, very private. A TV and a dishwasher could be added, but these are minor things. The first floor felt damp and the bathroom was poorly cleaned. We only used the 2nd floor, everything was great there. The veranda was my favorite place in the house, and the child loved to swim in the pool.

Beautiful house with lovely garden. Great location for exploring Puerto Viejo and the surrounding area. Easily walkable into the town but equally a quiet/ peaceful location. Would highly recommend.

This is our third stay here in three years and it is something we always look forward to. We can't wait to come back! The surroundings are incredible, and we love the layout of the house, which works so well for us. We come to Costa Rica for the wildlife, and we certainly get that when we stay here! We wake with the howlers and fall asleep to the sounds of the nocturnal creatures. For people wanting a private place to observe nature, this place will not disappoint: from the variety of birds, the howlers and capuchins, to the geckos that hunt at night.
