Second time at this place and it was as great as the first time. Great views on the water.

Nice houseboat right at the marina. Loved being close to the water and watching the Pelicans.

Our group of 17 had a lot more fun. We were comfortable and had plenty of space to mingle relax and enjoy our weekend. The charter boats picked us up right off the back of the boat. Accommodations were comfortable and everyone just simply enjoyed the unique layout of the rooms/showers and bar area. Will definitely go back.

We stayed at the Lincoln House during a weekend visit with family. The house is beautifully restored after being damaged by Hurricane Katrina. It has modern touches while retaining it original charm and character. The smell of natural wood upon entering was nostalgic. Each bedroom was spacious and had its own bathroom. The kitchen and dining areas were everything we needed to prepare and enjoy a meal with family. The views and sounds of nature peaceful and relaxing. We were able to backup right to the front porch to unpack our belongings. There are a few local stores for last minute items and food (Dollar Store and Fremin's Grocery Store). For restaurants, we highly recommend Thompson's Kitchen in Port Sulphur or the Ponderosa Restaurant at the Delta Marina in Empire. When visiting this area, this will be the only place we'll stay in the future. My entire family loved it!

Hi Sandra: I was so impressed with the stay there. We cooked beef filets on the charcoal grill. The sunset was incredible. I flew my drone down the cut and over the trees in the bay. It was a great reset for me. I am refreshed. Thanks for everything. I will bring my five daughters and my son this spring or fall. Oscar

Amy’s place was a great and unique stay for anyone looking to stay in a house boat! We were in the area for a fishing trip, and this was the perfect location. The charters picked us up right from the back of the house. Then we were able to fish off the dock, and caught a 40 lb drum!! Very clean house and comfy beds. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to come to Venice for a fishing trip!
