Free kayaks at this remote log cabin on the river in the Tennessee Highlands! Kayaks include one double sit-on-top kayak, one single Pescador kayak, and one single sit-in kayak. Our off-the-grid cabin overlooks the East Fork Obey River (Dale Hollow Lake), and the scenic Tennessee Highlands. Stroll down to the water to fish or launch your boat from the nearby ramp on Riverton Road, just one street over. End the day by the outdoor fireplace, or relax on one of the two porches to stargaze.

Nature Lovers Paradise

Poplar Cove Retreat is a nature lover's paradise! Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

Captain's Cove, Lakeside Inn at Dale Hollow

The Lakeside Inn at Dale Hollow is the perfect getaway for families, outdoor adventurers, and lake lovers. Newly renovated in 2021 the Captain's Cove king room offers a cozy king memory foam mattress, coffee bar, highspeed internet, smart tv, and amenities all in a stylish and clean space. Located 3/4 of a mile from Sunset Marina guests can experience all that Dale Hollow Lake and the Obey River Recreational area have to offer. Local tips and recommendations can be found in your room!

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlook Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. Located in Byrdstown, this welcoming cottage lets you experience it all with convenient on-site parking for vehicles and boat(s), a large fenced in deck & yard and a fully stocked kitchen. A quick 8-minute drive from the cottage you can be at Dale Hollow Lake. There is a FREE boat launch at Cove Creek recreation area (2.7 mi). After a day on the lake, you can unwind on the deck (seasonal lake views), sip a drink by the firepit or grill up burgers!

Welcome to our cozy remodeled home! Just minutes away from Sunset and Star Point Marinas. Enjoy the quietness as you start your day! Relax on one of our two patios located on each side of the home. After a day in the sun or a hard day of fishing, you can relax by the fire with a complimentary bottle of wine. Bass boat electrical hookup available. Holiday weekends: Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day 3 day minimum stay.

Outback Cottage #2

Located near Dale Hollow Lake, your cottage is 15 minutes from Sunset Marina & Resort, 5 minutes from Star Point Resort, and 10 minutes from Eagle Cove Resort & Marina. You will have access to trailer parking and exterior electricity outlets for all our fishing friends. Though there are 3 full sized beds, the 2 in the lofts may be tight for larger guests.
