Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pichincha

Everything was excellent, they let us check in before and although due to some questions we arrived a little late, we were super friendly. The place is safe and the fifth is super spacious for large groups. I would just recommend adding more kitchen utensils. Otherwise, it was excellent 😊

It was great staying here for four weeks. The house is comfortable and the location is very peaceful, but still close to everything. Nice garden and patio. Also very affordable. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

Be ready to have all of your senses pampered. The view, the river, the house are just picture perfect. On top of that, the hosts are beyond awesome! Ecollacta is THE place to stay in the area.

Esteban was a wonderful host. Very accommodating, very responsive. This flat is absolutely beautiful. Everything is well thought out and intentional. The VIEWS are magical. You can see the entire city center from the perfectly placed heavenly couch or the terrace. I don't think I could stay anywhere else when I return to Quito. Thank you so much for everything Esteban!

I was for visiting Ecuador for work and stayed a bit longer than a week in Quito. Cumbaya is a great area and was able to find and purchase all necessary items for a calm stay at the apartment. On top of all, there is a spa, a swimming pool and a parking spot. I was really feeling like at home away from home.

Nice apartment, very comfortable and functional. Strategically located in a quiet, quiet, quiet residential area, but very close to public transportation and many nice restaurants. Recommended

Modern apartment with 24 hr security, great location, public transportation easily available. Building had its own electrical generation plant which alleviated stress when daily power outages occurred. Unit was clean and stocked with everything needed for a self sufficient stay. Wifi was great for streaming. Combination washer/dryer is fantastic. Grocery shopping close by. Walking distance to La Corolina and El Ejido parks. We walked to subway system which made repeated access to old town convenient. Host checked in on us and was quick to answer any questions or concerns. She invited us to a community celebration which was a unique and unexpected experience. Tours were available for pick up from Swissotel which was a short walk away. Unit was great for our planed long term stay (unfortunately we had to leave early as Quito altitude was a problem for us). Would highly recommend unit and host.

Its a professionally run Airbnb/hotel room in a modern part of Quito with pricy restos but well connected to all parts of the town with Uber or public transport. The bed might be a little small for two otherwise a great room.
