Wonderful home that serves as a great launch pad to the city! The home itself is a must see in Porto! And a special shout out to the wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience!

Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with everything needed for a perfect experience. The view is simply breathtaking, breathtaking, and made every moment even more special. It was amazing to wake up every day with such a beautiful setting. This is a beautiful place to stay and the host, Silvio, is very welcoming and helpful! The place itself is clean and cosy and has a lovely fire to keep toasty and warm in the evenings and we also really enjoyed using the hot tub. The gardens are beautiful and the view from the window is stunning.

The accommodation is ideal for being able to relax and get away from day to day, there is no disturbing noise at any time. The garden and jacuzzi is an incredible tip. Sebastián helped us at all times and always answered if we had any questions.

João’s place was absolutely pristine, private, and cosy. João was also always free to help with some question that pops out or any other situation.

If you want to disconnect and have intimacy, this is the place! a place with nice views, tranquility and space, especially if you are going with a dog! Ours loved the garden and was able to enjoy being loose and without danger of escaping as everything is limited. The house has everything to make it comfortable and nothing is missing! In the space there are two houses: in which you stay you that is the first one you see nothing else enter, and another larger one in front, closer to the garden - swimming pool area, which is closed. But you don't share space with anyone else during your stay. Inside the enclosure there is plenty of room for parking. We checked in and checked out independently, due to the circumstances, although there is usually someone who welcomes you. But communication with Antonio was good at all times. Thank you!

Our stay exceeded all expectations!!! From the host's attention to detail, the comfort, the quality and the beauty of the space. It was a series of experiences within an experience! The indoor pool is a dream!! The wood-fired oven concretized our delights, we feel at home, with a very pleasant temperature inside. The rides in the area of lemon trees are quite pleasant, with the surprise of the ponies. Being 200% petfriendly, without any kind of limitation, was the plus of the stay. Thank you and see you soon! Accommodation exactly as in the photos, calm location, practical because it is a few meters from a market and other points of interest. About 10 minutes drive from the center of Guimarães. The self check-in was super practical and with the password we had access to the safe with the keys. The house was extremely clean and the central heating was certainly a differential, giving the necessary thermal comfort on the colder days we were there. When we reached the site, the house was already heated! The kitchen is well equipped and has served us beyond what is expected. The garage accommodates a large car well, since it has a table for conviviality. It is a great accommodation for the family. If you seek tranquility with comfort, this is the ideal space.

The place is beautiful with a wonderful balcony to have fun with the family. The house is very well equipped, I would highly recommend it.

A great place to stay with driving distance of Great Douro wineries, miradouro with an incredible view of the valley. Very clean, large and more beautiful than the photos show. Vitor and Marilia are great hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there..

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

We just loved Arturs home so spacious and cool loved all the bathrooms being a group of 7 women. Artur so responsive and helpful at all times. There are 2 great restaurants nearby and handy to main centre. Can't recommend highly enough!

Ana’s place is a perfect hidden getaway surrounded by amazing views of the countryside and mountains. A car is a necessity. Beautiful flowers, fresh fruit and veggies all around, this place was a great quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were greeted by Ana’s mother who accommodated a late night check in and was there to help any questions we had. Our secondary host, Quarantine the cat, also made sure we had company for our entire stay and was a real delight to have around. Great peaceful escape!

It was an amazing weekend. We felt at home. We enjoy the cold nights in the fireplace and with family games. Our pet was super happy with the green areas. Clean and comfortable bedding. In addition to excellent communication with the host always available and polite.
