Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Pérez Zeledón

I was looking for an escape into the mountains and didn't have a lot of time (or preparation) for major hiking. Mirador Valle del General offered nature trails and that beautiful view of the valley which was just what I needed for peaceful contemplation - not to mention the restaurant offers a lovely menu and lots of hummingbirds come visit while you're sitting enjoying the view. This was just what I needed for a night away from the coast.

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

Vibe Unique Random to Space🙏 I highly recommend it to those who want to meditate in the early hours of the morning looking at the hummingbirds, resting on the terrace after having made several trails nearby, enjoying the sounds of the hundreds of birds and the surrounding landscapes, knowing the life experiences of the people who pass there, taking a good two-minute bath on a private rail on the river. Simply a unique location that I highly recommend at 200%.

Stayed at Colette's place for 2 days. Unit is on the edge of the jungle so definitely expect a few insects to be found inside your unit. Private pool was amazing, The view of the beach is perfect! Worth mentioning that before booking the unit is in dominical... it is NOT. it is about a 15 min drive north of the town. Therefore, I would not recommend this unit unless you have a car.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

Lettika’s and Gijs’s B&B is a small piece of paradise. Beautifully landscaped, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast. Two minute walk from the beach and they provide you with a hammock or beach matt. We saw two sloths and a white faced monkey came to visit in the garden. Swimming pool is a big plus! Lettika and her staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots to see and do in a vicinity of an hour. Highly recommend if you want to get away from daily stress/routine!

We were welcomed directly by a small monkey gang and a sloth upon arrival. We liked it so much that we even wanted to hang on for another night. Great people, great surroundings, great breakfast and a lot of coziness in one place. We will book again when we come to Matapalo!

We had such a relaxing wonderful time. Patrick and Annie were wonderful hosts, paid attention to details and made us some pretty unforgettable meals!! Perfection from start to finish !🤍

a charming couple the owners , very good exchange and a lot of attention from our hosts. Dinah made us a great homemade bread for breakfast. a very comfortable bed and the terrace is a very nice place with jungle and ocean views. and from which we were able to see a family of howler monkeys and a couple of perquets with the help of our host. We recommend this place +++

The villa is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The view is amazing! Patrick & Annie are very nice hosts and very accommodating. We felt at home from the start. Our children loved the dogs Rex & Zorro, they are very well behaved. We hoghly recommend this accommodation and would come back immediately.
