Lovely few days in half term with the kids. Unable to use the hot tub as weather was relentless and was windy and wet. Driveway is a bit ropey so careful if your car is low to the ground! Hosts were really helpful and even had a visit from one of the cats!

We had a wonderful stay at Shaun’s cottage in Saint Newlyn East. The space was exactly as described — clean, cosy, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay as a small family. It was perfect for me, my wife, and our 5-month-old son. The location is peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the coast and nearby towns, yet still close enough to amenities when needed. Shaun was a responsive and helpful host, offering clear instructions and making us feel welcome from the start. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, charming base in Cornwall!

Extremely responsive hosts. Stunningly beautiful home. Few little niggles with there being no hot water in the shower but Vince and Beckie responded immediately when messaged and the issue was fixed within a matter of minutes. The tumble dryer didn’t seem to be working properly but no major issue - again, mentioned it to our hosts and I’ve no doubt the issue will be fixed for the next guests. Fantastic hot tub - so often with outdoor tubs you find they start getting cold after a few minutes, but not this one, it was great. Beautiful little dog walk/ view point only a couple of minutes walk to the left of the house. Suuuppperrrrr comfy beds. Loved it, loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for! My partner and I wanted a two night stay in the countryside with a cosy, smart and relaxing place to stay and this is exactly what we got! Kate was extremely helpful from the point of booking all the way through till the end only being a message away if we needed something or couldn’t figure out how something worked! Thank you Kate! The place is lovely and we couldn’t fault it. All the amenities you might need with a comfy bedroom, very smart and aesthetically pleasing bathroom and lounge as well as the nice addition of the hot tub and sauna! With Padstow and other places around a 30 minute drive away you can spend the day out or equally stay at the cottage and relax. Claire’s beautiful house is the perfect place to stay for a holiday!! It has an amazing location and a fabulous enclosed garden with everything you need for a memorable stay. We loved the hot tub,fire pit and outdoor seating area. Claire has thought of everything in the house… immaculately clean , beautiful comfy beds and a lovely kitchen with personal touches of biscuits and a welcome bottle of bubbly. Claire was immediate with her communication when asked a question. We had such a special and memorable stay we definitely 💯 plan to return!! Thankyou Family Riley xxx

We didn’t have to come from very far away, but we still felt like we were in holiday mode and enjoyed every moment. Great communication, generous and friendly hosts. Very private and peaceful location. Comfortable and welcoming vibes upon arrival. We would very much recommend!

What a beautiful place, tranquil setting in wonderful countryside. Totally quiet and peaceful. The barn is immaculate, cosy and so well equipped. Every detail has been thought of so carefully. Can’t recommend lower stables enough, we will certainly be back!

we've returned from 2 nights at Catherine's place. it was exactly as described in many other reviews. we felt comfortable & enjoyed day trips from here. it perfectly suits 2ad 2ch with a bunk bed & a double bed. the beds were comfortable, the shower was pretty good, there was everything you'd need to cater for yourself (if I was being a real stickler I'd say sone new sharp knives may be needed, but I'm picky with utensils). Also a bbq. for the price point offered, it's a very good deal & we would happily return

We had a wonderful few days in Cornwall. Walking, exploring and attending a family wedding. The cottage at Talskiddy was everything we expected and more. Quiet, peaceful, cosy and comfy. Excellent amenities and a perfect base to explore Cornwall from.

We had a lovely few days a Wisteria Cottage. The surroundings are beautiful and it was so peaceful. Walking from this location was a dream with access to the South West Coast Path very close by. The cottage had everything we needed and was warm and dry after wet walks! Thank you

Came down for a family wedding nearby and location was perfect for us. The farmhouse was cozy, welcoming and spacious. The beds were comfy, so much so we all overslept on checkout morning. Facilities, especially in the kitchen were ideal for us. We would love to come again, next time for longer so we can explore the local area more thoroughly and probably with the dog who missed out this time. Thanks for having us to stay.

Lovely place in a great location! Just what we needed and will definitely come back one day!

I'm sure Gill would be the first to say that both she and her place offer a quirky stay deep in the Cornish countryside: stained glass windows, wooden carvings, kitchen table hanging by chains from the ceiling, friendly animals in the yard. Don't let that put you off, her place is warm and comfortable and there was milk in the fridge and scones and jam to welcome us. Me and my frinends Ian and Pete had a great time and all agreed Gill's place was one of our favourite stays since we started walking the coastpath.

Nice and clean. The house is lovely and well decorate of interior designe. Warm welcome with milk, jam, scone and cookies. The place is easy to find especially when watching a video clip. Love to come back.

Lovely place as a base for a great holiday in Cornwall with the family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our second visit and perfectly situated for visiting our sister lives nearby. We loved the accommodation and found Maria and her husband to be on hand and very helpful. We will book again when next visiting Cornwall.

We had a lovely stay here. Beautifully decorated cottage and very comfortable. It is well equipped with everything you might need. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. Suzy was warm and welcoming and very responsive to our queries. The welcome basket was much appreciated! We would highly recommend a stay here and would love to return.

Claire and Chris were extremely hospitable and flexible. We arrived at a rather unsociable hour, but they were both more than understanding and welcoming. This little gem is spotless and fresh, with tasteful decor and a timeless Cornish cottage feel. Claire left some great snacks etc which were most welcome after a long drive. The location is great, too, with the A30 literally a few minutes drive away, and super close to the lively Lanivet Inn. Couldn’t recommend enough for both tourists, and (once!) locals coming back to Cornwall to visit.

Nice cosy cottage with unique style which made us love it. Peaceful and remote from usual tourist spots and still close to them.

Absolutely amazing time spent at Bumblebee cottage! Felt very cozy and relaxed and was very well stocked with everything we could need for our stay! There were even 2 big blankets in the living room for us to use! Julie & Mark were both lovely and very helpful (and meeting their two staffs made the visit even better! Such sweet and friendly pups!) Thank you again for having us! Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area!

A beautiful gem in a fabulous serene location near so many brilliant places in Cornwall. Perfectly furnished and thoughtful set up. Super helpful and friendly host - down to getting the bbq ready for us and being able to hose down wetsuits on site plus lots of great local recommendations - plus very quick responses and let us know we could check in early. Could not recommend enough (except to ensure there’s some availability next summer so we can return!). Exactly what we needed and such a stunning private garden too - ideal if you are bringing a furry friend. Many thanks and hope to be back soon
