We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

We had a fantastic stay. The home was exactly as described, very clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the city and restaurants. Check-in was easy, check-in instructions will be given prior to arrival. Parking available. We loved the garden in the backyard, very relaxing. The radiators stopped working in the evening, it was cold until morning and until we left at 9am. Little bit disappointed about that, as i was travelling with my parents and they came from the philippines which means they are not used to cold weather, we tried to check for the boiler, and found out that we can't turn it on, there was a note that says we are not allowed to regulate is as it has a timer, or otherwise we will be charged for that. Was not really a big deal for us, as it was only overnight but overall, we are very happy with our stay.

The place was very clean and tidy. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and lovely shower with an option for a bath. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Three of us stayed in the house and my partially sighted friend found the steep and narrow stairway to the kitchen too difficult to manage. The fact that the door opened towards the stairs meant it covered the wider part of the steps. We understand this is a mill house and steps are inevitable and most people will manage, as did my other friend and I. This isnt a complaint at all as the stay was very enjoyable and I would love to visit again.

The house we stayed in at Penistone was lovely. There were 3 of us so we had a bedroom each. The house was as described and was well fitted with everything we needed. Parking wasn't an issue but for 2 nights we parked on the side street opposite.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings. Lodge was clean and ready for when we arrived, delicious restaurant on site too. Went as a couple for a celebration- would definitely recommend

beautiful place, so comfy and clean. really enjoyed our stay here. we booked treatments at the center on site too which were great. We were not a fan of the restaurant on the grounds but lots of places nearby to go to eat. would go again.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Wonderful relaxing weekend away, just what was needed! The caravan was super cosy, homely, clean & had everything you could need, along with a lovely view of the lake. Perfection! Thanks again!

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Charlottes place. It was in a great location with a lovely view over the lake and the cabin itself was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed exploring the area, lots to see and do, Kirkby Lonsdale was our favourite but plenty to come back for. Charlotte was a great host, responding to questions very quickly. We hope to return to this area of the country at some point in the future and would love to stay and Charlottes place.

Thank you once again for a fantastic stay. Well equipped and some lovely touches like dog bowls, dog treats, dog towels etc. Lovely and clean, great decked area to sit out and very comfortable. Slept like a log! Will definitely return 😊

What can we say apart from we were gutted to leave David was very responsive and the property was beautiful , well equipped and with panoramic beauty The pool and hot tub were fabulous and both parts of the accommodation wonderful . We came as a family holiday with our lovely dog Beautiful scenery , stunning walks straight from the farm to the surrounding villages including the pub the Queens arms for Sunday lunch which had food to die for especially the pies ! Before our stay David was responsive and also gave us helpful info and fabulous instructions to the property . We used the BBQ as blessed with wonderful weather this weekend . David’s neighbours were also lovely and welcoming . It was the most wonderful of stays in the most beautiful part of the Dales . As others have said you literally do not want to leave the property as it’s fabulous , homely , well equipped and well thought out .The walk behind the cottage to the top of the hills gave beautiful panoramic views.

The lodge is stunning. right next to the lake and sparklingly clean. Stan was a great host. he made sure we knew how everything worked and that we were all set up, and when we were missing something he was on it within a few hours. very impressed. would highly recommend.

Great little flat, with lots of charecter. Easy to find and park. Loved the shop idea, we were eating buffet at a party later that night so did not want a big tea, we thought lets get settled at the flat then nip for food, well we did not have to as Alison had supplied us with lots of freebies plus a well stocked freezer and cupboard with food to buy, a little shop in the flat, amazing idea. Will Definitely stay again

Exactly as described in a quiet street 10 min walk along the canal top path or road into town. Very clean with everything you need f weekend n Skipton and surrounding areas. Will return

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

Just had an amazing few days here. Incredible cottage, spotlessly clean and so comfortable with everything we needed and more. Lynne is an excellent host who thinks of everything and does all she can to ensure you feel welcomed and at home. This was the perfect place for us to gather as a family to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. It was so relaxing and peaceful and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. Can’t recommend this place enough and we would absolutely love to return for another visit. 5 star experience from booking through to the end of our stay. Just loved it!

This was our first Airbnb stay. The experience was brilliant. Karen's cottage was exactly what we wanted and it felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation was very well stocked with everything we needed and it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. A fantastic location and beautifully presented, with a very helpful host!

Lucked out with the weather! Clear blue skies & sunshine, walks in all directions, gorgeous area, Austwick is a short walk, lovely meal at The Game Cock (Kathryn advised to book before arriving as it gets booked up, we missed out on our last night, so book in advance especially in Easter holidays) Beautiful, scenic area, very peaceful! Kathryn & Richard were very helpful. Lots of advice if needed, easy to contact, great communication. Nice accommodation, lovely thick carpets. Fire lit every night, plenty of wood available. Tea, coffee, milk & eggs a lovely touch on arrival. Days out… we visited Malham Cove, Ribbleshead Viaduct and Ingleton Waterfall trail, lots of walking and fresh air. Lovely area, thanks for a great trip, hope to return. Really relaxing to watch Kathryn & Richards chicken & goats pottering around next door too ☺️
