Vacation rentals with a patio in Papagayo Peninsula

Denise and Tom were great hosts. There was a sewer line issue and we had no shower in the morning one day but we didn’t have to because we went to the beach. However, once we returned it was fixed. Tom left us a nice welcome gift of pastries outside our apartment that an animal ate. We didn’t know it was for us, so the next day he bought us more. We asked for fresh towels and he got them right away. I highly recommend staying there.

We loved our stay so much, the space is beautiful with lots of natural light, great studio layout. Mariel was very helpful throughout our stay, and it was so nice to do a Pilates class in her studio which is on the same property. It's in a very peaceful part of Tamarindo, but still close by to the town center. We will definitely stay here again in the future! It's my fave place I've stayed in Tamarindo thus far, and I go often. Happy to have found this gem. Thanks Mariel for making our stay amazing!

Pictures don’t do this place justice! It’s absolutely beautiful. We didn’t want to leave. Laura is so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. We are so grateful she shared her stunning home with us. The location provided peace and quiet.

The place was exactly as the pictures show. It was clean and organized. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is right across the street from the unit. Location, just a few minutes from the beach. Carley’s, is very helpful, great communication and easy check in.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay with an excellent location in Potrero Guanacaste! Ideally located near stunning beaches and local conveniences. Can't wait to come back!

Since we arrived we found a place full of peace and surrounded by nature, super quiet and safe. It was very easy to enter and the perfect casita for a family of 4 members 👌🏻 The super cute and clean pool, perfect for children to have a good time after the sea or in the evenings, with a super cute and cozy light. It has a grilling area and a wow ranch. Maybe it was lucky, but almost the whole place was for us :) Jessica is super kind and friendly. Super recommended place. God through, we will come back.

Amazing accommodation, all very nice and tidy, the hosts are always attentive and the very spacious house can accommodate several carts the rooms are large and the patio with the pool everything is perfect, the location is the best part near restaurants, supermarkets and 20min from Tamarindo and maximum 30min from other beaches, I would definitely come back!

Staying at Patrick’s Airbnb was an absolute highlight of our trip! The place was cozy, spotless, and perfectly located—just a short walk to everything we needed. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, and the overall vibe of the space made us feel right at home. What truly set this experience apart, though, was Patrick himself. He’s as real and down-to-earth as they come, always friendly and easy to talk to. His local knowledge and deep connection to the wildlife made a huge impact on our trip. Thanks to him, we got to see howler monkeys up close, knew exactly when and where to surf, and even got tips on the best places to rent boards. His recommendations were spot-on and made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for an amazing place with a phenomenal host, look no further—Patrick’s place is the one. We can’t recommend it enough!

We were totally immersed in the beautiful ocean sunsets, the sound of the rhythmic waves landing on the shores directly outside our Airbnb, the early morning sand beach walks, the sight of fish as we snorkeled a few hundred feet away, and the relaxing mornings on our front patio. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the area. These were perfect days. Our first night we were awakened several times by restless barking neighborhood dogs. The next evenings were fine. We feel the dogs became accustomed to us. Know that we never saw the dogs, so we never felt threatened. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We have already visited Pinilla on several occasions. For us its location and safety is most valuable. By joy, on this occasion our stay was up to par with the house and its hosts Veronica and Mahomet.

We had both condos for our stay and it comfortably hosted 10 people and was completely spotless. The pool was in good condition, and the location is an easy walk to everything you need in Tamarindo.

This was my first time visiting Costa Rica and found Seth’s listing appealing. It certainly did not disappoint! It’s a beautifully built home, had really great split AC units so each person could set the air conditioning in their bedrooms to their comfort level. Super comfortable beds, beautiful swimming pool, plenty of outdoor seating for BBQs, relaxing by the pool, etc. we loved sitting at the large island in the well equipped kitchen. Full sized washer and dryer in a real laundry room was awesome. We were so happy there that we extended our stay by 4 days! Super close to the beach and great restaurants! Namely “Forketta” YUM! Seth was available seemingly immediately for any and all of my needs, and accommodated every request. WHAT a star!!! Thanks Seth! I’ll definitely be staying in this house again! 5 stars all the way!!! 🤩

A responsive property manager/owner that actually cares makes all the difference in a short term stay. Mark was great and his place is located perfectly next to one of our favorite beaches in CR!

We absolutely loved Patrick’s place! It was everything we hoped for and more. We felt right at home and safe at all times. Everything is extremely walkable - the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Patrick was easy to communicate with, and very quick to respond to any and every question we had. Thank you so much, Patrick! We were also amazed by every detail that was thought of, to make sure we had the best possible stay (kitchen supplies, beach chairs, grocery bags, picnic bag- you name it)! We hope to be back in the very near future!

We LOVED this space! This adorable condo was perfect for our adventurous family. The kids especially loved the bathrooms with the amazing walk in showers and bath tubs! Little things such as the warm robes in the closets and access to laundry was wonderful! The kitchen was amazing and had PLENTY of dishes and utensils. The complex was perfect. Great pools and walking distance to the Coco “downtown” area as well as a quaint little courtyard “Pueblito.” The hosts were very accessible and answered all of my questions. They even recommended places to visit. The security for the complex was excellent.

Second time staying here, and once again a fantastic choice. The main street, offering countless restaurants, is less than a 5 minutes walk away. The beach is just as close. Very secure building, quiet and peaceful. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. Beds are super comfy with extra linens and towels available. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect place to stay for our family of 4 including our 2 and a 4 year old children. #7 felt more private than the other units as no-one is on either side of you and the large porch area is delightful to hang out on. Peaceful environment and the pool was lots of fun. Unit was clean and the A/C units work well. Host is very responsive. Our family always felt safe. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future!

We loved our stay at Villas Las Ventanas! The condo was beautiful, spacious, and the amenities were all great! It is a ways out from the city life in Tamarindo, but the peacefulness and almost private beach access made it worth it. We ended up renting a car because it is pretty easy to get around there and we needed it to get back and forth to the other areas we wanted to go to. Our host Frances was always responsive when questions arose. The gate keepers at the condos were very helpful as well. Thank you for our wonderful trip!! Pura Vida - Denise & Laawrence
