We had a great stay at Lolly's place. The kids loved playing and exploring the private meadow and surrounding outdoors while we BBQ'd on the spacious dock. I went on a hike on the nearby trail with amazing views of the mountains. The house, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all very clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend Lolly's place!

This house was an absolute dream! Nestled among the redwoods, it offered complete serenity. The home was exceptionally well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From the spacious interiors to the thoughtful amenities, every detail was just right. Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort and a connection to nature.

What a great find in an out of the way place. Would love to come in summer but honestly, it was great cool weather to enjoy the house and view of the ocean. Saw seals and dolphins and birds, barely any humans! Best find was Pezzini Farms right outside the colony. Go there for good food!

Everything about our stay was fantastic!! The beds, the pool, the town…the three of us loved this Airbnb and look forward to coming back. Swimming in a heated pool in the winter is a heavenly experience.

Beautiful, clean condo with amazing view. Crystal provided detailed instructions ahead of time which made it easy to check in and get settled quickly. The space felt very open, rooms were comfortable and quiet. My daughter enjoyed having her own space in the third bedroom, which is perfect for kids. The coffee bar was a bonus with plenty of beverage choices and all the extras! Very convenient to get to the beach. It’s a short walk to the beach but there is a hill on the way back so we chose to drive with my older parents. This was fine considering we were visiting in February but beach parking could be tricky during the busy summer season. Having the option to walk and leave the car behind is nice. There were also towels, chairs, beach toys, and a wagon available to use during the stay. Overall a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Aptos and I would highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Jessica's place is comfortable, spacious and a cozy home-away-from-home in a nice quiet family neighborhood. Close enough to shops, beach, adventures and outings, but perfect for both quiet down-time and restoration, and our family meals and game nights. Check-in was a breeze, communication was effortless and easy, and felt that Jessica's home was hard to leave. We highly recommend Jessica's place and would love to stay again when our family gathers to this beautiful redwood location!

This place is fabulous! Spacious, clean and full of character. The building has been beautifully restored and is nicely appointed. The host was super friendly and responsive. Our family is already talking about going back. Two thumbs up.

A wonderful house in a superb location! We instantly felt at home there, large kitchen with all that you need, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a cosy garden. The house is located in a quiet area near the beach and very close to the Natural Bridges State Park (just a short stroll away). Communication with Janiece was very easy and friendly. All in all a house that we can only recommend. Thanks for all, Janiece :-)

We stayed at Ovr’s for a gals weekend and it was a perfect mix of relaxing at home with the hot tub and walking down to the ocean. A close drive or Uber ride to local restaurants, bars and cafes. Would definitely stay here again!!

We were in Monterey for the Monterey Half Marathon & the location of the home was perfect! It was a short drive to the starting line. It was also close to many Monterey attractions. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies & condiments. There are plenty of spots to hang out including a living room, TV room, dining room & kitchen nook. There is also outdoor seating in the front & backyard. Our kids loved playing in the grassy backyard. There was also a closet full of toys for the kids to play with. The house has 5 rooms with beds + 2 bathrooms. 1. King bed with ensuite bathroom 2. Queen bed 3. Queen bed (connects to 2nd bathroom & smallest bedroom) 4. Smallest bedroom includes a twin bed (ideal for a child) 5. 2 full/queen beds (connects to the same 2nd bathroom as room #3) - this bedroom does not have central heating We traveled with 2 families with a total of 4 adults & 4 young kids. There was plenty of space for the kids & the one story house made it easy with young kids.

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

Wow! 🤩 I planned an elopement on the beach and had the best stay at Marielle’s place. The home was perfect for my groom and I as we prepared for the most beautiful day we’ve ever experienced in Carmel, California. Marielle made sure we felt right at home. The best Airbnb experience ever. No stress, just relaxation and enjoyment. Marielle had the best recommendations for a florist, photographer, make up artist etc. she checked in with me to make sure I had all my bases covered. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. Stay here, you won’t regret it - Worth every penny!!

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

Faris was very responsive. There was a short power outage due to MGE doing work in the neighborhood, and to compensate us Faris had the 8 of us at his restaurant for a comped dinner which was fabulous and extremely generous. Would highly recommend staying at his property!

The Beach House was exactly as described - tastefully remodeled while retaining the classic Aptos Beach bungalow vibe. Very thoughtfully prepared with outdoor games and items you would need for a beach getaway. The outdoor area and backyard are cleverly organized for everything you would want. I just wish we could have stayed longer (and had warmer weather!). Lots of great information in the folder for things to do and places to eat. Kudos!!

Perfectly appointed, beautifully renovated, and incredibly quiet, this sweet cottage is just two blocks from the beach. You’ll easily catch every sunset. This place is such a gem, and Andrew is a gracious and helpful host. I hope to be back again soon.

We had a great stay here! Anna was very helpful, and was impressively quick to respond when we had the need for some fresh sheets. She even offered us a high chair when she realized we had a small child. We felt very well take. Care of, and her space was lovely, clean, and exactly what we needed on short notice.
