'Shepherds Rest' our stunning shepherds hut.

SamRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Spacious barn conversion in a tranquil village

HelenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Just back from 3 nights at this lovely barn conversion set in a very picturesque village and only a stones throw from the local pub. Loved everything about our stay. Christian was extremely friendly and helpful. The village has wonderful walks on the doorstep. Visited the pub on 2 occasions and had the warmest of welcomes from the landlady and locals. We hope to return soon.

Barn conversion, Henley-on-Thames

MartinRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Cosy Cotswold Cottage

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We received a really warm welcome and overview of the house, with a nice little bundle of essentials to get us going, which is a lovely touch. The area is really peaceful and the house has everything you need. Thank you for having us again.

The Apple Barn @ Charingworth House

AshirRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our group of 8 really enjoyed it here, Stephanie's place is very cosy and secluded so great for a getaway/bonding time. The house was clean and the amenities (snooker table!) kept everyone busy. It was also nice to have the choice of two dining spaces, both in the Apple Barn as well as in the main house. It was very cold when we visited so we didn't get to enjoy sitting outdoors, but this would be a real treat when it gets warmer. Overall highly recommend.

Shepherds Huts in Charlton

SamsonRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

The Shearing Shed - cosy barn on family farm

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
lovely accommodation, easy to find, very peaceful to say it was a working farm. The little area out side the accommodation could have been a little better ,I know it's winter but perhaps the planters would have looked nice with some winter foliage, such as winter pansies and Holly and some Christmas lights, other than that the accommodation was excellent.

Peaceful Cotswold Cottage - close to Daylesford

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage down a quiet and peaceful lane. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable and definitely feels like a home from home. There were some extra little touches that made it very welcoming. Viv was extremely helpful and responded quickly prior to our stay and also to a question we had on our first evening. Nicely located for travelling to other local villages and towns. Easy to follow instructions for check-in and check-out. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property.

Stunning Secluded Luxury Shepherds Hut with Views

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely little stay, beautiful grounds and great location. We went with our border collie. Amazing walks on the door step and pretty much anywhere, dog and human paradise! A close drive to many lovely little villages, great pubs and restaurants. Quiet at night and very warm and comfortable bed (the heater was very effective, but we didn’t even need it on during the night as the hut kept pretty warm really). The only thing we found a bit tricky was pulling the bed down (as it’s pretty heavy) but I’m sure if we couldn’t and had asked the hosts would have come over right away and done it for us. Hot shower and great pressure. Trish was an excellent host, extremely responsive and very helpful. Lovely little touches like tea, coffee, milk, oil etc. Peaceful and tranquil, highly recommend!!

17th Century Barn near Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sarah’s property is absolutely beautiful! The property was incredibly designed, decorated, modern (despite being in a converted barn!) and very clean. We were a party of three that had plenty of space and loved our stay. Sarah was responsive and gave great local recommendations. Due to it being a big, airy space, it was a bit chilly at night, but there were plenty of blankets and linens to combat this. Definitely recommend staying here.

'The Barrington' - Westwell Downs Shepherd Huts

LukeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay at “The Barrington” the log burner and wood fired hot tub were lovely additions to provide a cosy feel. Although the temperatures were -5 outside, the hut was well heated and comfortable. We had a lovely, relaxing and peaceful stay, just what we needed. Many thanks for having us.

Perfect for three of us (2 x adult + 1 x 1.5yr old). Having a travel cot, high chair and toys was a big bonus. Bledington is a small but nice village and is within short driving distance to other villages. Communication with host was great. I highly recommend this stay.

Idyllic country cottage, close to central Oxford

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay at this cosy cottage. We were a group of friends looking for a peaceful location and this footed the bill. Alison and Steve were wonderful hosts who went over and above to make our stay feel special. They had thought of everything and it was 'home from home' even providing breakfast supplies such as a lovely fruit bowl, eggs, bread and butter, milk, orange juice and a beautiful floral arrangement which was very much appreciated. The beds were so comfortable as well and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and wildlife. We all had a lovely time at this special place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oxford. It even has a lovely, country pub ( The Perch) practically on the doorstep which was an added bonus and served delicious fayre. Thank you Alison and Steve for your wonderful hospitality. We will hope to return one day. 😁

We had a fantastic quiet NYE and NY in Rose Cottage with friends and our 3 doggies. Beautiful private place within walking distance to the local pub. Great walks on your door step so we never used the car. The place is wonderful with everything you need. Hamish was the perfect host and the bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch. We would defo recommend and we will defo return.

Charming country cottage, well equipped.

KellyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kate's cottage suited our family of 5 perfectly. It was cheery and warm (both literally and figuratively) and we felt at home from the get-go. The recommendations were great and we took full advantage of the very well-appointed kitchen. If we ever return to the area we will definitely stay at Kate's again. We might plan a summertime trip to do just that.

A Large Cotswold Country Retreat

CatrionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family and friends stayed at Jeff’s place to celebrate my 60th Birthday. Jeff was a flexible and understanding host as was his wonderful house keeper Shirley. Nothing was too much bother. We settled in as if it was home from home. The house and Jeff’s generous hospitality made our stay the most perfect occasion where wonderful happy memories were created in this beautiful setting. We had a pizza night using the pizza oven in the kitchen. We drank Martini Expressos. We lounged with champagne by the fire. We had a movie night on the big screen. And my 5 month old springer found his running legs in the safe enclosure of the stunning garden with its maze and koi pond. On the Sunday of our long weekend we were able to have day guests come to visit and we had a sumptuious Birthday Tea. My guests were in awe of the venue and I took great pride in showing them around this beautiful house. The Garden House made my 60th birthday an unforgettable and very special occasion 🥂🍾🙏🏻?
