Beautiful apartment - the view from room is absolutely breathtaking. Jeanette is a wonderful host who kept us informed and left some treats to welcome us: a thoughtful chocolate on pillow, some wine and water chilling and a friendly smile upon arrival. Big, comfortable bed and the huge fluffy towels gets a 10/10 from me! Easy to check out procedure - not that I wanted to leave made this a memorable stay! Thank you so much!

Great apartment and very central, we rarely used our car as there are so many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. Would surely recommend this apartment.

We had a very good stay, really in die hub of Hermanus, just out the door was everything that makes Hermanus special. We really hope to return soon!

My second stay at Jeanette's lovely apartment, which says it all. The ocean views are wonderful. Spent a lot of time on the huge stoep just breathing it all in. The apartment was clean and well equipped - everything there that I needed. Jeanette is a great host - super helpful, thoughtful and pro-active. I'll be back again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Belinda's place! The apartment is perfect for a little getaway. Gordon's Bay is quite a bit windy, but that isn't something that we can change. But the view is incredible.

Amazing apartment overlooking the Gordon’s Bay beaches. Incredible views and close to so many amenities and fun things to do . We had a wonderful family holiday in our own back yard ! Local tourism all the way . Johlene is a great host and made our stay pleasurable . I recommend this apartment if you want a break from the city and a beach holiday to remember .

Charle's place and apartment are places to visit and enjoy every moment. The apartment is clean and spacious for a family of 4 people. Grounds are well maintained. There is 24 hour Security. It's a walk to the private Beach and for those who like to swim, there is a swimming pool that is communal and well kept. When it comes to pricing, it's affordable when comparing with other apartments on the same range nearby. We are looking forward to make another booking soon. The Host/Charles responses are quick with solutions although we haven't experienced any challenges. Nearby Residents are warm, respectful and welcoming. For those who like shopping, there is a wide range of Shopping Malls and Restaurants around. I am recommending Charle"s Apartment to those who are planning to visit Gordon's Bay.

The accommodation was clean, tidy and exactly what we required in a secure estate which provided a great base for us to explore the Cape winelands, False bay area and Cape Town and the wonderful sights. The rooms were smallish but fine for our needs and the shower in the ensuite bathroom was one of the best showers we have used in a long time. The abundance of bird life around us was awesome being situated by a small dam within the estate and the local residents we met were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed walking around the estate and also along the beachfront of the estate. From the start of the booking to the end, Jeff was always responsive to our needs and communication was excellent and timeous. If someone is looking for a place to stay where you have peace of mind to just come and explore the wonders of the Cape then this is a great spot for you.

My friend and I attended a line dance event in Gansbaai so we did not have much time to spend at the apartment itself. However it was a lovely place to stay and super surroundings. I will definitely book the apartment again for a break away stay in the near future. We felt very safe, the apartment was super clean and very comfortable. There was a problem with the WC Accentrix system in getting into the building as the code did not work but it was sorted immediately by L and very helpful indeed and followed up to make sure we were sorted. The only problem we had was the lift was out of order and we had to lug our luggage and gear up to the third floor a few times. Certainly got a good workout. We also must mention that this problem was not something our host could forsee and it was just one of those things that happen and not something they can control. I can highly recommend L's place and thank you for a lovely stay.

What an incredible place! It is the most beautiful location with a spacious balcony to watch the waves and the world go by— and a walkable distance into town. The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything you could need. Will be back for sure!

This is why we love staying in AirBnBs. The accommodation was comfortable, homely and a perfect distance to the centre of town. Wilna and family (including gorgeous dogs and cats) were very friendly and hospitable and made us feel super welcome. A special memory for us was walking the cliff path and grabbing a takeout pizza to eat on the beach. Five out of five star stay. Thanks so much.

Like other guests said : the view is amazing ! We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful place, large living room and kitchen with all you need, comfortable bed in the bed room. Large window in the living room so you can enjoy the view and the sea breeze. Like a beach bungalow actually. From here you can walk to the beach, you are also close to everything (with a car) , crystal pools trail, betty's bay pingouins, ... The place is safe and quiet and you get a car parking space just in front of the appartment. Wieneke is a very kind person, she will make you comfortable and give you privacy. Thank you !

We stayed 3 nights (2 adults, 1 2-year old) and had a great time. our daughter loved running around in the garden, collecting acorns. since the property is surrounded by a wall and the pool is separated by a gate that she could not open, it was perfect for her explore the garden safely. we also really enjoyed the breakfast served on our little terrace. the cliff path is close and it's about 20-30 minutes by foot into "hermanus downtown". the county market is about 10 minutes walk. Suzanne and her staff were absolutely lovely! although the property, the Appartment is in is at the main street, it was not too loud as the apartment is further back. in the morning, we did close the windows facing towards the grocery store parking lot but then it was also fine.

Jeannette’s place was so beautiful and peaceful Definitely a home away from home ! We will definitely be returning! If you are looking for a peaceful spot with a spectacular view this is the place !
