Karla’s place was even more beautiful than the pictures can show! So peaceful, private and we felt completely safe. The property has some dogs and cats that were all well behaved and friendly. Incredible place to spend a moment of relaxation, tranquility and privacy. Perfect for enjoying as a couple, we were able to enjoy the lagoon using the kayak and paddle to see the sunrise and sunset. Martin and his wife are very nice. The dogs in the house are a worship. The beach is a wonder there are fish on the shore you can swim and enjoy the wonderful sand the kayak are very much enjoyed. We highly recommend visiting the house.

Everything was amazing about the listing and the host nothing to say. go for it! Just regarding the welcome we were dissatisfied, they offered us to boat on the lake, we accepted, the appointment was at 12:30 pm we waited until 12.45 pm still nothing, we went to the reception, we were patient to finally tell us that there will be no boat, no reason, exit canceled and wasted day. On the listing though, no complaints.

The place was very clean with several amenities that made our stay easier. Nicole is very proactive and responds very quickly to our questions. The site is very enchanting, well maintained and quiet. The pool was very much appreciated and even though there are 6 condos on the site, we were practically always alone. We enjoyed the moments where we were able to go for apnea as there is a beautiful diversity of aquatic wildlife. Unfortunately we couldn't do much of it as it was windy during our stay. Even though there are several cruise ships in Mahahual, it was not disturbing, they are scattering around the area. Despite this we had a great trip, the Mexicans smiling, courteous.

This house is exactly as advertised. A quiet house right on the beach. Kind of like camping. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable we were without air conditioning. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions.

The house is in a very great location. You have your own private lagoon area. Shops and restaurants are 10-15 minutes away. The fact that kayaks are available is a plus. Ms. Claudia is a great host, met us at the property and showed us the ins and outs. I would definitely recommend this house for your next stay at Bacalar.
