Farmstay vacation rentals in Østfold

We were in the house as a large family over the turn of the year and enjoyed the time very much! The rooms are lovingly decorated and everything is harmonious and tasteful. When we arrived, it was preheated and everything was decorated for the Christmas season. We particularly enjoyed the large open fireplace. Linda and her family were wonderful hosts who helped us directly with all questions (and beyond). We felt very comfortable! Thank you!

It was our first time in Norway and our first time using Airbnb and we couldn’t have asked for better accommodation or hosts. Bente and Gunnar went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

What an incredibly beautiful place! Just being in such a setting makes you lower your shoulders and just enjoy.😊 Helene landlord is the kindness himself, has great local knowledge and was very helpful😉 The annex (and the outhouse😅) was super cozy, clean and neat with good beds. Full score from me and Jimmy(the dog) for this little adventure weekend👍😃 Recommended!

We really liked our stay at this place! It is really quiet, but the town centre is within walking distance. We liked how easy it is to get around by bike and would really like to come back an explore the island some more. The house itself has everything you need and was super clean and well-organized. Overall, we had a great time!

We stayed for a week on a family trip with 4 adults and 5 children (aged 1-5) and the place was just perfect for that - lots of room for everyone, toys (even costumes) and an outside playarea for the kids. As this is Einar and Stephanie's actual home, they have everything You need - laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchen, dining area with enough plates, glasses and cutlery for everybody. They even have a gym and a sauna, not to mention the pool table and a cosy fireplace. Everything is well described and detailed in the listing, Stephanie was very helpful in the messages, too. The location is rural, You do need to keep this in mind. There is one local diner and one cafe, for anything else You do need to travel by car (30 minutes to Oslo), by train (15 minutes to Oslo) or bus (15 minutes to Ski). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend it!

My boyfriend and I have been to Norway for the first time and very happy with this accommodation. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Anikken was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Especially very helpful and thoughtful, we got a lot of tips from her. We have felt very much at home here partly because of the hospitality. The cottage was also clean, cozy and equipped with everything you needed :)

A really special place with a special host. Beautiful surroundings and a really unique sleeping arrangement up in the trees. Kelly was brilliant and is clearly passionate about the farm and her animals.
