Vacation rentals with a firepit in Orange County

I am very grateful for the experience of staying here. We had a family emergency and staying here for 2 weeks before moving one of us to an apartment greatly reduced the stress of what was going on. The place was beautiful and spacious, had great grounds to explore, and was clean and welcoming. Bryan was responsive, friendly and generous with his time and resources. I also got some great ideas of what I would like to do with some land I plan to purchase. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

Justin's place was perfect for a quiet getaway with my husband. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We loved all of the books and the sauna! It's in a very private and peaceful location, but still close to many amazing restaurants. We enjoyed dining at Nomad and Namu, as well as coffee and fresh donuts at the Blue Heeler Coffee truck and fesh ice cream cream at Maple View Farm. Justin was very proactive in his communications and was a fantastic host. He offered great local recommendations and was flexible on checkin/checkout. I highly recommend this place to others!

The house was very comfortable, sunny and airy, with a nice sitting area on the first floor. Chelston has thought of many things to make a family comfortable - games (Switch for the giant TV and old school puzzles and games), throw blankets, nice sheets and pillows, coffee, basic pantry supplies, and a thoughtful guide to the area. Check-in was simple. The area is nice and quiet and close to coffee shops and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Cathy’s house was perfect for our recent family trip! The house itself was as described - very clean and open, well stocked kitchen with basic supplies, and easy to access. Location was very convenient to many restaurants and activities. Cathy was also very communicative before and during our trip, making it an all around success!

Enjoyed our stay, which was extended due to weather. I appreciate the cooperation and willingness from Michael to make the extension. Love that the home allows pets, has a fenced in back yard, and the location in Hillsborough is great. Near services such as grocery store, restaurants, etc. We will definitely stay again when visiting Hillsborough.

Great little place to stay and exactly as advertised. Host was very friendly and the place was nice and clean. I was a little nervous about it being a basement because I've had bad experience with noisy people upstairs BUT this was NOT the case here. Very quiet and pleasant! Would gladly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! The location was only 0.6 miles to the Historic Ballpark, so we had a lot of options without needing to worry about parking. The place was clean and comfortable, and was quiet due to it being above the separate garage in the back. Woudl definitely;y stay here again! Thanks, Carrie!

If you have people in Chapel Hill then Rains place is perfectly located (5-10 minutes from any part of town). It's pleasant and warm (we visited during a snowy cold snap and the heat was great). A great find!

The location, the communication from the host and the peace and quiet at this Airbnb location are a few of my biggest takeaways during my holiday stay here. Unfortunately, I still had to work through the holiday however, mohmeets Airbnb allowed me to have a separate working space to complete my work. Whenever I come back in town, I will definitely be booking here again.

Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway with family or friends! Lots of thoughtful touches, stocked very well. The place is immaculate and very homey! We will definitely utilize this property again!

Excellent unit in the heart of Durham! I’m almost hesitant to give this a perfect review JUST because I want it to be available when I come back!! Incredibly clean and modern interior with ample street parking. Will look to Paulina’s places first when returning to the area for sure!

Beautiful cabin along a babbling creek that made for a private getaway (but not too far from great restaurants and town!) Cabin was in pristine condition and was very cozy. All the amenities you would want - great little kitchen and bathroom and bedroom, beautiful side porch to drink morning coffee and stare out at the natural world. Loved reading about the history of the cabin and appreciated the love and care that has gone into it. Carol and Tom were extremely responsive and very proactive in communicating. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at this cabin! Daniel was very quick to respond to any of our questions and extremely understanding when many of our trip details got unexpectedly switched around by late flights and hospitalized family (the best laid plans, right?). We ended our stay wishing we could spend more time in this sweet little spot. It's a short walking distance from Fearrington Village, which has farm animals, a quaint bookstore, and delicious restaurants. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our little boys (2 and 5) enjoyed the swing and the zipline that day.

Great location! Loved the property and peacefulness of the River and tranquility of every view and fire pit.

The cabin was wonderful and we had a great time staying there. It was clean and very well stocked… from kitchen tools, to bathroom necessities, to comfy linens, the cabin had it all. The host even left us fresh eggs from the hens that live on the property! Our toddler had a wonderful time playing with the toys provided and especially loved the indoor swings. It was also lovely to have a toddler bed for her! The back porch is a dream, with cute lighting, comfortable furniture, and a gas powered fire pit. The view over the pond was lovely, and visiting the chickens (with the chicken treats provided by the host) was very cool. The proximity to Durham was also a plus. We got to stay in seclusion but had easy access to the city. Our host was friendly and thoughtful. The singular downside was the noise from the nearby highway. Perhaps once the leaves fill in during Spring it’ll be a little more quiet!

Beautiful historic home with lots of space to spread out. The gas fireplace helped us warm up after a long, cold and wet drive from Maryland. The strings of lights on the railings and thru the forest were enchanting. We had a great long weekend, despite the lousy weather.

LOVED our stay and just wish we could have stayed longer! You immediately feel relaxed when you get into the hot tub and look out over the beautiful pond. Hope to be back someday!

Shane was an excellent host from beginning to end! The cabin is very private and peaceful with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again.

This little cabin was so awesome! It was perfect for me and my husbands’ 10 year anniversary! The cabin was so well kept and the decor was so eclectic and nostalgic, it made it feel very homey and so cozy! I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days! We didn’t use all the amenities but they definitely covered all their bases and stocked the place with anything you’d want or need in your own home. Being it’s February and it was cold outside, I was worried it would be chilly, but they also had that covered and again it was super cozy in the cabin. Beautiful woods and trail surrounding the property, yet close to the cute little downtown area of Pittsboro which was only about 10 minutes away. There are some nice restaurants and coffee shops there. Jordan Lake State Park was also only a few minutes drive from the place, a gorgeous place to take in more nature. Also there was a really cool Tiger Rescue nearby that we visited. The price was so reasonable and this place is beyond worth it!
