We had an amazing time in Hostelería's place. it was as beautiful as shown in the pictures with stunning views. it's a perfect place for nature lovers and for a peaceful holiday. Our host was very friendly despite having language barrier, he was very helpful. He even got us food and was happy to bring whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday.

We had an amazing weekend, Mercedes was on the lookout for anything we need and the environment fantastic.

The house is very nicely located and equipped with everything you need. Fidel and Ana are very friendly and helpful.

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

the "Casa del abuelo" is located in the heart of Cantabria in a green setting with all the necessary amenities. For our group of 9 people with children, it had enough rooms and a beautiful view. In the heart of nature and less than an hour from the famous cabarceno animal park; the different caves in the region, and the most beautiful beaches in the region ( La Salvé de Laredo, El Sardinero de Santander,... ) With a strong identity, Ana has provided all the documentation of interesting places in the area. We have books and board games in abundance. In this cottage, you can enjoy the scenery and walk or drive to tourist places: Castro urduales, san vicente de la barquera,... On the other hand , a car is absolutely necessary.

My friends and I had a great weekend in the countryside. The house is large and quiet, just as we wanted. We'll be happy to come back!

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! The house is even more beautiful than in the photos, with plenty of space and a huge window in the living room overlooking the valley, where you can see how the clouds stay in the lower part. It has a giant patio, a good fireplace and a perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need. All the rooms are large with good beds and duvets, and with three bathrooms, all very comfortable and complete as well as beautiful. The house's climate control is perfect with radiant floor heating. It's super comfortable, everything was great. Communication with Javier was very good and he also shows you nearby routes and places of interest.

Daniel gave us a great welcome. We are happy to have found this rare pearl, in the heights of Cantabria. Peace and quiet. The view of the mountains is fabulous, with terrace, with views and all rooms with views of nature. We are very happy with our stay and will not hesitate to return. thanks Daniel.

The house is in an unbeatable location for hiking of all kinds. The surroundings are very nice, we felt right at home, we didn't want for anything. We even had a barbecue in the garden where our dog could run around. Israel was very kind at all times, giving us directions about the surroundings and some tips on where to eat, and what to visit Thank you very much. We'll be back for sure.

if you want to disconnect from everything surrounded by nature this is the perfect place, everything is better than good ,we were super comfortable the house a pass of pretty and everything is great, thank you emelina for letting us have an amazing weekend.

The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need, including a welcome gift that we greatly appreciated. The house is perfect for a group of friends or family, with a magnificent garden to enjoy together. We loved the village. 100% recommended!!

The stay was very good. We enjoyed the house and the attention of Esmeralda and her parents. The location of the house allows you to be in the countryside just over five minutes from downtown Torrelavega. The house is in perfect condition and very comfortable. We hope to repeat.

This charming studio cabin is situated in the foothills of Cambria . Beaches are really close by 10 - 25 minutes , great to explore the coastline especially east of Santander . Nice restaurants by the coast but we found the best restaurant serving high quality Spanish food just down the road in Suesa called « bonabo » so friendly , but the homemade food was just so good. The cabin is basic but well situated. Shower and toilet very small. The garden surrounding is excellent for dogs, there are animals in the fields surrounding the cabin, our dog wasn’t worried about them and didn’t worry them. A lovely little place to go.

An idyllic place to rest and enjoy the most authentic Cantabria. Horses and cows free graze on nearby lands. The views from the terrace are what it takes to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. Great for going with friends, as long as you're looking for tranquility. Conchi has been very attentive from the very beginning. To repeat!!

Our stay was perfect. The house was beautiful and everything was spotless and clean. The host is very friendly and has helped us with everything we needed. It's nice to go home like this. The area is beautiful.

A house with a lot of character with a nice garden next to a small river . Close to Liérganes and driving distance to the beaches and Santander. Marta is a welcoming and helpful host. We had a wonderful stay.

A very well-kept house with a beautiful garden. There was room for everyone and we were able to have a very quiet weekend. The host Teodoro was very friendly and there was no problem getting in or out of the house.
