After my first stay which worked so well for me, I booked it again. Again, the host wanted to make sure I was comfortable and secure as an older female solo traveler. I can't emphasize enough, how close this to public transport, restaurants, markets, anything you may want or need. If you're taking a day trip to a remote island, the terminal is a straight 4-min walk. I stayed in a Japanese-style room - convenient because I could move the futon around to my liking, Just note that this is a 4-flight walkup. I would definitely stay here again when in Ishigaki.

Everything was great! Emika is a very friendly and accommodating host. We stayed for 3 weeks. When we return we will definitely consider staying here again! There were a few things that were missing that I am used to, however this was my first time in a foreign country and I expected that things would be a little different. Dressers, a stove, patio table, nightstands and traditional American showers/tubs are examples of things that were not available. However, we had many other cool amenities available! Location is awesome! There is a beautiful view of the water, nearby islands and the northern part of Okinawa. Several stores within walking distance. There is noise at night - Wind, sirens and traffic, some nights worse than others - Next time I will bring noise cancelling ear buds. Pay attention to "entry into room" in house directions, this means there is a charge for guests, not overnight guests but any guests, any time. Thank you for your hospitality Emika!!!!

Lots of friendly furniture in the house and a very good vibe. It is very unfortunate that we only stayed for one day. All the tableware was provided, so it was very nice to use disposable items less. In particular, the place where the tatami mats were very nice to sit around and talk.

Shotaro's place is located at a quiet yet convenient location with plenty of places to go, such as outlet or supermarket shopping which are within walkable distance. If one rents a car like we did, it makes the stay even more comfortable. On top of the spacious accommodation, the amount of amenities provided within the accommodation exceeds our expectations, ranging from cold and hot air conditioning, clean bedding to towels and WiFi. There is also washing machine and tumble dryer to get your clothes cleaned in a short period of time. As a host, Shotaro has been responsive and he gave us clear instructions to get to his place.

It was the best place for a family trip. I expected it to be a pretty big house because it can be used by more than 10 people, but it is a much more spacious, warm and tidy accommodation than the photos. Especially the living area and dining area is awesome. I made a lot of good memories over a really nice meal with my family. :) The children's playroom is also decorated so beautifully that it looks like a great place to stay for families traveling with children. There were also plenty of necessary items such as amenities, towels, and toilet paper, and it was so nice to have an air conditioner in each room. It was a pleasant accommodation where the host's consideration was seen everywhere. I made good memories in a very quiet and walkable neighborhood. Thank you. I definitely want to come back on my next family trip.

Amazing place, in the peaceful cottage place around the nature! Close to the beach, near by foot are combini’s and restaurants. Owner is very kind and communicable, house was in great condition, I can only recommend to stay here! :)

I really appreciated the friendly response.😊 The house was really clean, and I liked the warm and cozy bedding even at night when it was windy.☺️ There was a lot to play with, so I was able to have fun playing not only air bounce, but also fairytale books, boron cars, toys, board games, etc. A small slide and garden on the first floor are also good. The location is Sigira Resort Complex, so you can enjoy the quiet and beautiful beach, and the hot springs are close by. There is a playground and park in the German cultural village right in front of it, so it was great for a stroll. I had a really comfortable and thankful stay! Satisfying trip for a family of 5 (including children ages 1,3,5)☺️

This Airbnb was amazing and everything we wanted. It had beautiful views, peaceful neighborhood, and a beach out our door. The hosts were awesome and accommodating. Highly recommend 😊

I used it with 5 family members, including 2 children aged 3 and 5.It was newly built, so it was very beautiful, spacious, and great! It was a long sleeve time in January, but the heated pool was very enjoyable and went many times a day ^_^ (It was a little cold to enjoy for a long time, so I was swimming a few times) The owner never met me in person, but he was very kind and quick to respond, so I was relieved if I had a few questions before or during my stay. There is a two-story room with a living room, kitchen, bath, etc., and there is a bedroom above.I was a little worried about the stairs because there was no railing on the stairs?I thought, but it was okay because it was not a sudden construction ^_^ The kitchen counter was large, and the dining room was eaten at the sofa table in the living room because it was scary for the kids to climb or sit on the counter in the style of a bar-like style. I also rented a family car, but it was quite reasonable compared to an ordinary car rental, and it was very helpful because it was very flexible. I want to come again ^_^

Very clean and traditional Japanese family house with good lighting hardly need to turn on the lights during the day, the overall environment is very traditional, so there should be some disadvantages but recommend it to people who want to try the local culture

The little resort was 3 minute drive to the aquarium with plenty of parking during our off season travel. Response to my check in questions was a little slow but we had no issue with late check in. The 2 bedroom unit we reserved was efficiently laid out and very clean with plenty of towels. There were also extra towels and other things you may need to grab from the first floor lobby. They also had bikes you can borrow (though we didn't use them since we had a car). We had an excellent stay. For those who do not have rental cars or prefer to walk to places, it may be more challenging, since there's no restaurants within walking distance and resort is on top of a small hill. Construction is happening right across from the building but it was not too noisy. The beds were a little too soft for our taste.

It was a sudden reservation, but I felt at ease of responding quickly.  2 10 The location is good because it is close to♪♪ Churaumi Aquarium, Emerald Beach, and Pineapple Park. It was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was kind, so I was able to have a pleasant trip with a quick response. For restaurants, there are Okinawan cuisine and pizzerias nearby, so use them ~!
