Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Ohio

Lamar was a great host, this is the second time we have stayed here and the house makes you feel right at home. The two massage chairs in the living room were amazing. Everything was very clean and tidy, definitely will be staying here again.

We loved staying at Kevin’s place, very helpful when we had anything to ask. Place was clean, beautiful and relaxing! Couldn’t say one negative thing! Hope to be back soon!

Went for a weekend getaway and ended up wanted to say longer. Beautiful and private place you won’t regret staying! Perfect place to take the family and get away!

This place was a last minute choice after being mislead from another host but we reached out to Jessica and she got right back with us immediately and got us right into the house! the property was better than advertised, clearly Jessica put a lot of attention into details to make this house feel like a home opposed to a rental unit, definitely worth the stay and definitely would recommend:)

Brookside cottage was a magical experience in terms of its location. The creek the water running the woods. It’s just spectacular. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was clean. You had everything that you needed. Location was quite peaceful. It was everything that we wanted. I spent a mom’s weekend there with my daughter from Ohio University, and we also enjoyed the hot tub despite the rain.

It was wonderful ! Looked exactly like the pictures and everything stood out , had a great time staying here and would like to come next time !!

This was a great place to stay. Everything we were expecting from the post. Very clean, quiet, great location. Would definitely recommend. Host was great!

Have stayed before, would stay again, and probably will. In my previous review, I had included a word of caution for guests to be a little cautious about the narrow steps on the inside stairway. Noticed that the host has since put in a handrail. So now I'll just caution guests to not actually eat the plastic lemons and artichoke next to the "Eat" sign in the kitchen. :) Great host, great stay, the whole weekend went smooth as silk.

Sam’s villa was AMAZING 10/10! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Some standouts were the hot tub and patio area, kayaking, and the extremely relaxing bathroom! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

We came for a relaxing week and that’s exactly what we got! Very private and just so fun to be at especially with kids. We were beyond grateful to bring pets as well.

We picked this cabin because we were looking for a rental that offered a sauna. Everything on the property was clean and in operating order (including the sauna :-) ) The arrival instructions were very helpful. The cell phone service was sketchy, and the tip to screenshot the door code was very helpful. Brian also shared some common feedback about finding the drive to the cabins, and that was helpful. We did message about one thing - it had stormed in the area prior to our arrival, and we did ask if there were any issues as a result of the storms. I did not get a response until after we checked out. There were no issues. Airbnb strongly recommends you communicate with hosts only through the app, and that is how we messaged. Brian did include other contact information, and maybe that would have yielded a quicker response. We were following the Arrbnb guidelines. The pre-arrival communication and tips were very helpful, so I will give credit for that, and it is well deserved.

Our stay at Shu’s place exceeded my expectations. We have a family of 7 with a Goldendoodle. Sometimes it is hard to please the entire group when booking. The house was spotless inside with great appliances. We were able to move flawlessly from inside modern features (pool table, movie room, air hockey, multiple TV’s, gaming systems, board games) directly outside to a feeling of solitude. Beautiful lake views sitting in the hot tub, kids making smores at the camp fire, and some family members fishing from the dock at the same time. We went to visit my daughter at Ohio University and to see Hocking Hills. It was the perfect location between the two. Easy 5 min trips to Walmart for anything forgotten. Bait shop 2 min away from the property. A cool coffee shop out of an airstream 2 min away. It was special to feel so alone in nature but be so close to anything that we needed. To top it all off, schedules changed and Shu was able to provide us with a late checkout. GREAT LAUNDRY as well!

Great location - the view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the accommodations. Perfect girls' getaway!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! We were impressed with how clean everything was, as well as all the kitchen amenities. We really enjoyed the grill, firepit, hot tub, and how close the cabin was to Hocking Hills State Park. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy nature!

This was our second time staying at the Opal and it was just as amazing as the first time! We stayed in October 2024 for our honeymoon and it was magical. It's so quiet, private, and relaxing. The big tall windows let so much light induring the day and we had a full moon during our stay this time which was equally amazing! The hot tub and campfire were a pleasure as always, and the weather was perfect for both. We loved visiting our friends Rosie, Posie, and Stella and giving them treats. Billie is always super responsive and helpful and makes the stay easy and worry-free. We are so excited to come back this Oct for our anniversary!

We had a great stay, filled with unforgettable memories and quality family time. The rustic charm of the place made it feel like a true getaway, surrounded by nature and the simple beauty of the outdoors. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time away from the hustle of everyday life.

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

My hubs and I enjoyed a weekend away in this hidden gem, it was relaxing and quiet. The pond views and the peacock that surprised us was very cute. The hot tub is perfect for a winter getaway, the kitchen had everything we needed , fireplaces were super cozy and we cant wait to come back here!

We had 9 guys stay for a night and there was plenty of room and things to do. The kitchen was fully stocked for everything we needed! Would absolutely stay again for the great price and beautiful property, one of the best cabins we have stayed at. Thank you!

This private, beautiful property was a great location for our girls' trip next to a fun winery. The house was very clean and comfortable for 6.

The cabin was clean, and well equipped with supplies. It is in a great location with plenty of privacy, but close enough to stores and restaurants. The scenery is beautiful! This is a great place for an escape from reality. I would recommend!
